Tae-in, who had said he would stay up all night chatting, fell asleep as soon as it hit midnight. He had asked why I would sleep in the same room and led me to the guest room. This spacious house had more unused rooms than used ones. The guest room was larger than my goshiwon room. It was big, clean, and smelled nice. Both the furniture and bedding were of high quality, like those used in hotels. Ha-min rustled as he got up from the bed. He couldn’t fall asleep.
The thought of being in hyung’s house made him feel strange, and his body wasn’t used to sleeping in such a nice place, causing him to toss and turn. Ha-min went out to the living room, thinking of having a glass of water. When he got there, he saw that the mess from eating was still there. Tae-in had said he would clean up and pushed Ha-min to go to sleep, but as expected, he hadn’t. Sigh. Ha-min let out a small sigh as he cleaned up the trash. That’s when a large door caught his eye. He remembered seeing hyung enter that room when he first came to Tae-in’s house.
Although only a few days had passed since then, he hadn’t seen him. After saying things like “Let’s do it again when your lip heals,” not seeing him left a bitter taste. His mind couldn’t settle easily. He had done ridiculous things and told outrageous lies just to be involved with hyung somehow, but things had taken a strange turn. He had worried for days that it might turn into some absurd relationship of just sharing simple acts of relief, but the lack of contact made those worries seem pointless. That’s the kind of person he was. Always toying with people’s feelings.
“…”
Ha-min carefully approached that room. He opened the door with a click and entered, and he could smell him. An expensive, non-artificial scent. Heavy but not dark. Ha-min suddenly remembered what he had said about coming into his room and smelling his scent. So this is what he meant, he realized. A smile involuntarily formed on Ha-min’s lips. Just entering his space made him feel good. Ha-min quietly looked around the room.
The room had a tidy bed, a large desk that looked like it belonged in an office, and on top of it were a desktop computer, a laptop, and several tablet PCs along with piles of documents. The only decor was a tasteful painting, and overall the room felt rather empty. Ha-min carefully sat on the edge of the bed. Looking around to make sure no one was there, he lifted the blanket to his nose. It smelled of clean fabric softener mixed appropriately with his scent.
“Nice…”
At that moment, a mechanical sound came from afar. But Ha-min, who didn’t hear it, stopped smelling the blanket and looked around the room, including the ceiling. A unique light fixture caught his eye, and dozens of books were displayed on what looked like drawer shelves.
“Stop calling me to those places now.”
A languid and tired voice was heard from beyond the door. Hearing what sounded like a phone conversation, Ha-min quickly got up. He looked around with wide, startled eyes. The owner of the voice was obvious.
This is bad. That was the only thought that crossed his mind.
“I’m tired. Let’s stop and hang up.”
He coldly ended the call and opened the door.
As the door opened with a click, his handsome face, looking quite worn out, appeared. It was a face marked by fatigue and boredom, different from his usual overflowing composure.
His usual style was semi-formal, but today he was dressed even more formally. It was an unfamiliar face and atmosphere. Ha-min, unable to do anything, stood there awkwardly and froze.
“Ah, hello…”
Ha-min smiled awkwardly towards him as he entered the room. Inside, he just wanted to die. What would he think seeing me in his room without permission? That’s what scared him the most.
“You’re not asleep.”
Seeing Ha-min in his room, he didn’t seem particularly surprised. Rather, he seemed puzzled that Ha-min wasn’t sleeping. His casual remark without any sign of surprise made Ha-min even more flustered.
“Um… I was trying to sleep, but couldn’t…”
“…”
“And somehow…”
“Somehow you wanted to come to my room?”
He smirked at Ha-min’s words that sounded like excuses. Ha-min’s face turned bright red. He desperately continued to explain.
“I heard you weren’t coming home tonight… I came out for water and just got curious… I’m sorry. Going into someone’s room without… You must be upset, I’m sorry.”
“Isn’t it that you wanted to see me?”
“…Huh?”
The smell of alcohol wafted from him. A drowsy smile mixed with intoxication hung on his lips.
“I came to see Ha-min.”
“…”
“Hearing you were staying over at my house tonight. How could I not come?”
As he playfully let those words slip, the door behind Tae-rim closed with a thud. An indescribable atmosphere flowed. His voice, slowly exhaled, was unlike his usual self – neither entirely kind nor caring. Tae-rim slowly approached where Ha-min was standing. With each step he took closer, Ha-min’s heart raced. So much that he was afraid Tae-rim might hear it.
“Is Tae-in asleep?”
He asked secretively. Ha-min felt guilty at the question, whispered as if about to do something naughty in secret. It felt like committing a crime, but he couldn’t move his feet. Instead of fleeing the room, Ha-min nodded.
“…He seems to be asleep.”
It was as if they were now accomplices. His gaze seemed to ask if Ha-min understood what his willing answer meant. As his observing gaze moved, silence fell in the room.
“…”
“…”
Tae-rim’s lowered gaze swept over Ha-min’s lips, which had fully healed. Then he looked longer at the area below Ha-min’s face. Ha-min was wearing Tae-in’s oversized t-shirt. It was the nightwear Tae-in had given him. The sleeves were so long they covered his hands. One side of the t-shirt slipped down. Ha-min quickly pulled it up as it was too big and kept falling. He didn’t need to, but the atmosphere made it feel necessary. It felt like he should.
“Your lip has healed completely.”
That was what he said after looking Ha-min up and down. Ha-min unconsciously touched his own lips. The lip had healed quickly. Just two days after applying the medicine he had bought.
“…It healed quickly with the medicine.”
Ha-min fidgeted with his fingers.
“So you came on your own?”
“…”
“To suck me off.”
At Tae-rim’s blunt words, Ha-min bit his lip hard.
“That’s… not it…”
“Hmm.”
“Just…”
“Hmm.”
He couldn’t think of any other excuse. It was true. He had come on his own. He always initiated things. Ha-min looked at him, trying to calm his racing breath. Perhaps due to the alcohol, his eyes had less of their usual smile.
He felt like he might be enchanted by that gaze. Whether smiling or not, those eyes were simply mesmerizing. Ha-min swallowed dryly. The water was already spilled. It was all him – coming to this room on his own, proposing to suck him off first. Ha-min took a deep breath, trying to become detached. There was no point in making roundabout excuses anyway.
“If you… don’t find it disgusting.”
At Ha-min’s trembling words, Tae-rim let out a deflated laugh.
“If I don’t?”
He took off his coat and threw it on the floor. It was the first note signaling the beginning.
“I… I can do it.”
Next, he loosened and undid his loosely hanging tie.
“Do what?”
He asked back while taking off each layer he was wearing. He demanded an answer from Ha-min.
“Your… thing…”
Ha-min trailed off, unable to finish his sentence. Meanwhile, Tae-rim was unbuttoning his shirt one by one. The rustling sound hit Ha-min’s ears.
“Yes. My thing.”
“I… I can’t say it… Can’t we just do it?”
“No, we can’t.”
“Why…?”
“How far have you gone with your friends?”
When Ha-min asked why, Tae-rim asked a different question. Ha-min looked at Tae-rim with wavering eyes. Tae-rim, with his shirt half unbuttoned, was now right in front of him.
Ha-min blankly stared at the languid and strangely authoritative gaze. That moment felt like an opportunity. He felt disgusted and pathetic for having such a thought. But those eyes were so attractive that he kept feeling greedy. Ha-min took a breath and spoke in a small voice.
“…Hands and…”
“And?”
He urged Ha-min to answer while looking down at him.
“With the mouth…”
“…”
“And things like kissing…”
He must have gone crazy. It was because the room was filled with hyung’s scent, and because hyung, who he thought wouldn’t come, had come, and because it was dawn. For some reason, he felt like hyung would do anything for him. He shamelessly told another lie, using the excuse of non-existent friends, thinking hyung would do it again because of that pretext.
Ha. He burst into laughter. Reacting sensitively to every sound coming from him, Ha-min trembled like he was waiting for a death sentence. That’s when it happened.
“…Ha, this is killing me.”
As soon as he heard the chewed-up voice, lips overlapped with his.
“Mmph.”
Before their lips even fully met, a tongue entered Ha-min’s slightly parted mouth. The hot flesh instantly entangled Ha-min’s tongue. Ha-min, who had his breath and tongue stolen in an instant, urgently grabbed Tae-rim’s collar.
As Ha-min instinctively stepped back and was about to fall from the mercilessly pressed lips, a firm arm wrapped around his waist as if to support him. And with the force of the tight embrace, their lips met even more deeply. When Ha-min slightly opened his eyes, he saw Tae-rim’s dark eyes flickering with passion. They were black and empty, yet burning hot. Seeing those eyes, Ha-min felt an ineffable fullness and tightly closed his eyes.
