Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The First Challenge
The Rise of the Supreme Sect
The next morning, Lin Feng and his disciples woke early. After a quick breakfast, they began to prepare for their first real test as a sect. The mission was clear: destroy a nearby rival sect.
"Alright, everyone," Lin Feng began, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "Today, we show the world the strength of the Supreme Sect. We're going to wipe out the Green Mist Sect!"
Zhang Wei, who had grown a bit more confident after the sparring session, clenched his fists. "We're really doing this, huh? I mean, we're just starting out, and already we're going to take down another sect?"
Lin Feng smirked. "Why wait around for someone else to make a name for us? If we want to rise to the top, we need to act fast. And what better way to show our power than by defeating a weak sect?"
Yan Qing, who had been silently observing, raised an eyebrow. "I'm just saying, we might want to gather more intel first. You know, make sure we're not walking into a trap."
Lin Feng chuckled. "No need to worry, Yan Qing. I'm sure the Green Mist Sect is nothing we can't handle."

The Green Mist Sect
The journey to the Green Mist Sect took a few hours. The terrain was rugged, and the sect was nestled on a mountain, shrouded in fog. It wasn't the largest sect, but its location had made it somewhat notorious in the region for controlling nearby resources.
As they approached the base of the mountain, Lin Feng turned to his disciples. "This is it. Let's make sure we're all on the same page. We're here to show them what happens when you underestimate the Supreme Sect."
Mei Ling, her quiet demeanor now filled with resolve, nodded. "I'll handle the poison techniques if we need them."
Chen Bo grinned, cracking his knuckles. "And I'll handle the heavy lifting."
Zhang Wei looked nervous but determined. "I'll do my best, Sect Leader!"
Lin Feng clapped his hands together. "Alright, let's go!"

The Attack
As they ascended the mountain path, they could see the sect's main gates ahead. The Green Mist Sect was a collection of simple stone buildings, surrounded by dense trees and mist that gave the place an eerie, otherworldly feel.
Lin Feng took the lead, stepping up to the gates with a confident stride. As they reached the entrance, a few guards, young cultivators who looked barely older than Zhang Wei, stepped forward to block their way.
"Who goes there?" one of the guards asked, looking at Lin Feng and his group with suspicion.
Lin Feng smiled. "I am Sect Leader Lin Feng of the Supreme Sect. We've come to pay a visit."
The guards' eyes widened, clearly confused. "The Supreme Sect? I've never heard of you. What do you want here?"
Lin Feng's smile widened, and with a sudden burst of Qi, he released a small shockwave that knocked the guards back. "I want you to deliver a message to your leader: If they don't surrender their sect to me within the hour, I'll be forced to destroy them. Consider this a warning."
The guards scrambled to get up, but Lin Feng didn't give them a chance to recover. He raised his hand, and a gust of wind blew through the trees, signaling the arrival of his disciples.
"Mei Ling, Chen Bo, Zhang Wei—show them what we're capable of!"
Without hesitation, Mei Ling stepped forward and sent a flurry of poison needles toward the remaining guards. The needles whizzed through the air, striking them in various spots. Zhang Wei followed her lead, charging forward with his fist glowing with Qi, while Chen Bo took a running start, delivering powerful punches that shattered the stone ground beneath them.
The guards were quickly overpowered, their weak cultivation unable to match Lin Feng's disciples.
"Take them prisoner," Lin Feng ordered, and Mei Ling, with her calm composure, restrained the guards with ease, tying them up with poisonous vines.

The Leader's Challenge
As the group moved forward, they were met by a tall, middle-aged man who emerged from one of the stone buildings. His long, silver hair fluttered in the wind, and his dark robes gave him an intimidating presence. This was the leader of the Green Mist Sect, a cultivator at the early stage of the Void Realm.
"So, you've come to challenge me, eh?" the man said, his voice dripping with disdain. "I've heard of you, Sect Leader Lin Feng. You think you can take my sect without any consequences?"
Lin Feng stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with confidence. "I'm here to take your sect, yes. You've controlled this mountain long enough, and it's time for a change."
The leader of the Green Mist Sect scoffed. "You're confident. I'll give you that. But do you really think you can defeat me and my sect alone?"
Lin Feng chuckled. "You're wrong. I'm not alone. I have my disciples, and together, we are unstoppable."
"Let's test that, then," the leader said, his voice growing cold. He extended his hand, and dark energy swirled around him, forming a sphere of black Qi. "I'll show you the power of the Green Mist Sect."

The Battle Begins
Lin Feng felt the pressure immediately. The leader of the Green Mist Sect was strong—stronger than he had anticipated. The swirling black Qi filled the air, blocking out the sun and sending a chill through the ground.
"Everyone, stay alert!" Lin Feng shouted. "We need to work together!"
Zhang Wei, with newfound courage, charged at the leader, trying to punch through the dark Qi. Mei Ling followed close behind, her poison techniques ready. Chen Bo, full of energy, dashed forward, aiming for the leader's blind spots.
But the leader was quick. With a flick of his wrist, the black Qi expanded outward, sending the disciples flying back. Only Lin Feng remained standing, his aura rising in response.
"Is that all you've got?" Lin Feng asked with a grin. "Because if that's the case, this fight won't last long."
The Green Mist Sect leader glared at him, rage in his eyes. "You think you're stronger than me? Fine. Let's see how you handle this!"
Suddenly, the black Qi around the leader exploded outward, forming a massive energy sphere that shot directly toward Lin Feng. The air trembled with the force of it.
