Chapter 81: Battling Abomination!
After Clark knocked Hulk and Abomination away, he vanished in a flash, heading to various ruins to rescue trapped innocents. Having arrived, Clark naturally couldn't ignore the situation.
However, Clark discovered that he wasn't the only one doing this; he saw the guy called Batman, who had a brief skirmish with Robert, also conducting rescue operations in the darkness.
In addition, Clark recognized another person involved in the rescue efforts – Kim Jin, whom Clark had asked Robert to spare. Kim Jin, accompanied by dozens of bald subordinates with sorrowful expressions, was helping the victims. It was unclear how Kim Jin managed it, but these subordinates seemed genuinely happy to help…
On the other side, Jackie Chan and the others had evacuated. Robert, wearing a mask, sensed two powerful energies flying towards him and then shouted at Abomination and Hulk who were passing overhead: "Hey! You flew too far!"
"Bang!"
"Thud!"
Soon after, Hulk and Abomination landed one after the other. Hulk, who flew later, ended up further away due to Clark's greater strength in his legs than in his fists.
Upon landing, both the intelligent Abomination and the mindless Hulk were bewildered.
Abomination, with a bloodied hole in his stomach which was healing rapidly, didn't bother with it and lay on the ground, pondering what had just happened. He was fighting well against Hulk, even gaining the upper hand, but then suddenly he was sent flying. Who was so powerful to send both him and Hulk flying? That must be the real monster, right?
However, unlike the contemplative Abomination, the less mature Hulk didn't think so much. He just felt this place was too dangerous and wanted to leave…
"Hey! Don't run!" Robert, seeing Hulk get up and start leaping away, shouted anxiously. This was an opponent Clark had delivered to him, and he couldn't let him escape so easily.
"Roar!" But Robert's shouting didn't stop Hulk. Instead, it brought Abomination back to reality. Abomination roared, got up from the ground, and glared fiercely at Robert, the tiny figure.
"What are you roaring at?" Robert, who was about to chase Hulk, stopped and frowned at Abomination. "Well, if one runs away, let him be. It would be a loss if both escaped!"
"Who are you?" Abomination eyed Robert warily, not immediately attacking because he wasn't sure if Robert was the one who had sent him flying from the city to the suburbs.
"It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is that you look like a good fighter…" Robert shook his head, his fighting spirit rising, muscles swelling, and power increasing rapidly.
Robert didn't know how strong Abomination was. In a world where energy doesn't fully reflect strength, one has to fight to know the opponent's capability. So, Robert decided to try first. "Boom!" In the next instant, Robert's figure disappeared, reappearing before Abomination could react, and punched Abomination's chin, knocking him to the ground.
"It's not you! Good!" Abomination, after being knocked down, was excited, realizing Robert wasn't the terrifying monster who had sent him flying from the city. He got up, his face contorted, and growled at Robert, "Little guy! You've got some skills, but you've angered me!"
In the next moment, Abomination leaped at Robert, swinging a fist at his head.
Facing Abomination's massive fist, Robert calmly dodged and countered with a punch to Abomination's healing stomach wound.
"Pop!" The wound burst open again, but Abomination's face showed a ferocious grin. His other hand grabbed Robert's arm, intending to smash him into the ground as they landed. "Swish!" But at that moment, Robert transformed his fist into a palm, and a blast of energy hit Abomination's stomach, further widening the wound. With his other hand, Robert threw Abomination behind him onto the ground!
"Thud!" A large crater formed where Abomination landed. Although Robert's strength wasn't as great as Clark's, he still managed to break through Abomination's defense, especially when hitting his wound.
Moreover, Robert didn't relent just because Abomination was down. He continued to punch towards Abomination's head, sensing that Abomination's energy hadn't decreased.
"Boom!" But Robert's punch hit the ground, missing Abomination, who had adeptly dodged, thanks to his excellent combat experience and skills far surpassing Hulk's…
As Robert's fist hit the ground, Abomination threw dirt at Robert's head, blinding him momentarily, then swung a punch at Robert.
Robert instinctively closed his eyes, too late to dodge. He raised his other arm to block Abomination's massive fist.
"Bang!"
Robert was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the ground.
This was why Robert had previously chosen to dodge Abomination's attacks. Even after harnessing some of the Giant Ape's power, Robert's strength still didn't match Abomination's. But their gap wasn't as vast as with Clark, Kara, or Diana.
Therefore, Robert felt he could fight! The next moment, Robert got up, and Abomination was already upon him. Robert's fighting spirit surged, his overwhelming energy and spirit merging into an unstoppable force, reappearing in this world! War Technique! Berserker Fist!
"Stop playing tricks!" Abomination felt the powerful aura impacting his body and mind. His eyes flickered with doubt, but he quickly grunted and swung his fist at Robert.
"Boom!" Robert also swung his fist, and their fists collided, with blood from both of them spilling onto the ground...
The sight of blood didn't stop Robert or Abomination. They simultaneously swung their fists again, relentlessly attacking each other. The battle heated up rapidly. Robert stood his ground, while Abomination created craters beneath him, the ground trembling, dust swirling around the battlefield…
In terms of momentum, Robert had the upper hand, but he was more injured than Abomination.
Abomination couldn't understand why, despite Robert's strength being less than Hulk's, it was he who kept retreating. Why, despite his punches causing significant injuries, hadn't Robert been sent flying?
And then, Abomination seemed to understand…
"Boom!" Robert's fist collided again with Abomination's, and a "crack!" was heard, not from Abomination but from Robert!
Yet, Robert's face showed no pain, even some excitement. His broken arm erupted with a second wave of power, sending a stunned Abomination flying, crashing heavily to the ground! Under Robert's second-wave attack, Abomination's arm also suffered severe damage!
