Chapter 80: Defeating the Hulk with a Single Move
"Uncle Long, if he can really beat Robert, wouldn't it be safer to leave it with him?" Jade tugged at Jackie Chan's sleeve and said, "I don't think your sheriff friend can really keep such a treasure safe forever…"
"Jade! Don't talk nonsense, that's the safest place in the world!" Hearing Jade's doubt, Jackie Chan once again endorsed Area 13 with a flag of jinx.
"Uncle Long, I think we should stay away a bit!" Jade, noticing the flames surging on Johnny's body, shrank her neck and warned.
"Oh! You're right!" Jackie Chan, reminded of Robert's destructive power, quickly picked up Jade and ran to one side, sternly warning Susan who was following, "If Robert asks you to look at him or shouts something about the sun, you must close your eyes quickly, okay?"
"Why?" Jade asked, somewhat puzzled.
"No reason, just remember that!" Jackie Chan didn't elaborate, as this was one of Robert's techniques and it wasn't good for too many people to know.
"Boom!"
Just as Jackie Chan and the others had run to a safe area, an explosion sounded, followed by successive blasts.
Normally, flames or energy collisions wouldn't explode so easily, but the problem was that the power of the Dragon Talisman's flames wasn't just pure burning, but inherently explosive.
This is probably the difference between a flame thrower and a fireball spell.
"You remember I told you not to make too much noise, couldn't you avoid this fight? Well, at least you went to a deserted place, which shows you took my words to heart…" In Kent Farm, Clark hesitated, eventually only muttering in his heart.
"Hm? What's that?" Clark, watching Robert's battle, suddenly noticed something unusual. In a city area not too far from Robert's battlefield, two green humanoid creatures were fighting. They were noticeably taller than average people, and the surrounding buildings kept collapsing and breaking in their battle. Clark could hear many people panicking and calling for help.
Compared to the destruction caused by Robert fighting in the wilderness, the damage from these two humanoid creatures was undoubtedly huge!
"Kara! Watch the house, I'm going out!" Clark, after silently observing the chaos in the city for a while, swiftly changed into a suit that only revealed his eyes and disappeared from the spot, leaving a message for Kara.
"What's going on? Why did everyone run away?" Kara looked a bit puzzled, but eventually suppressed the urge to follow and chose to stay at home.
"Sir, there appear to be two monsters fighting in New York City, causing widespread destruction, including our properties…" Meanwhile, Batman's earpiece relayed Alfred's voice.
"Two monsters? Could they be more destructive than the ones I'm observing now?" Hearing about the property damage, Batman showed no emotion. As for the monsters, he felt that after tonight's events, even the strangest creature couldn't compare to Robert, who simply didn't seem human!
"I've sent you the footage, sir. You can compare for yourself…" Alfred didn't argue with Batman, simply sending the information and then fell silent.
With a "buzz," Batman tapped his arm, and a holographic projection appeared, showing two over two-meter-tall monsters fighting, even tearing down several buildings around them.
The noise from Robert and Johnny's fight was indeed scary, but the visual impact of these monsters' fist-to-fist collision was equally significant!
And more importantly, the monsters were fighting in the city!
"Are they filming a movie tonight? How can one be more absurd than the other?" Batman commented softly after seeing the projection, took a deep look at Robert's side, and then disappeared into the night.
"Wait a minute!" Meanwhile, Robert, passionately clashing with Johnny, also sensed two strong energies colliding in the distance. He quickly called a halt, turning his gaze towards the city, his eyes gleaming.
Compared to Johnny, who could only release explosive flames from a distance, Robert was more interested in the owners of these energies!
"What's up? Have you run out of power?" Johnny's eyes lit up, looking at Robert with some anticipation.
"We'll fight again next time. I've found more interesting opponents. Uncle Long, one Serpent Talisman should be enough for you to settle the matter..." Robert shook his head and said to Jackie Chan, "Let's keep this Dragon Talisman with him for now!"
"You're not planning to just go over there, are you?" As soon as Robert's words fell, Clark's voice echoed in his mind, "That's the city area. Aren't you afraid of exposing your identity by rushing over? Besides, if you start fighting there, the destruction might be even greater…"
"Did those two cause a lot of damage? Well, their energies are strong, so it's normal for them to be destructive!" Robert frowned, looking in the direction of the city with some regret, "That's a pity, I can't fight such strong opponents now!"
Since Clark didn't want to expose himself or cause more destruction, Robert had no choice but to give up the opportunity to fight such strong opponents.
"Get everyone to evacuate, then cover your face. The little girl there has a mask you can borrow." However, just as Robert was feeling regretful, Clark's voice sounded again in his mind.
"Ah? Then what?" Robert asked, somewhat confused, not following Clark's train of thought.
"Then wait for me to send those two monsters flying over!" Clark's somewhat dissatisfied voice echoed in Robert's mind, making him scratch his head. When did Clark become violent?
"You guys leave here first. There will be a more terrifying fight soon, and it might attract attention..." However, Robert quickly came to his senses and said to Jackie Chan and the others, "By the way, do you have a mask? I need to hide my identity, so I'm not seen by too many people."
"I have one!" Jade's eyes lit up, quickly handing a mask to Robert from her arms.
Meanwhile, in New York City, two green humanoid creatures, Hulk and Abomination, both mutated from gamma radiation, were fighting fiercely.
But just as Hulk and Abomination were fighting fiercely, a person wrapped tightly in black clothes, with only two eyes visible, appeared beside them - it was Clark.
With a "bang!" Clark threw a punch, hitting Abomination from bottom to top, sending him flying with blood spraying in mid-air.
"Bang!" In the next moment, Clark kicked out, and Hulk also flew away.
