Peter's senses had sharpened dramatically. His strength was undeniable, but there was something more—a peculiar new sensation he couldn't quite place. It felt different from the abilities he knew from Spider-Man in the movies or comics.

Raising his hand, Peter bent his two fingers, and as expected, a web shot out. But as he focused more, he sensed something unusual in his hands. With a slight concentration, his skin tore open between his knuckles, and sharp, crimson-red claws extended outward.

"This... is definitely different." Peter muttered, fascinated. In the original movies, Peter Parker never had anything like this. He gingerly touched the claws, finding them hard as steel, razor-sharp, and formidable.

Eager to test his newfound power, Peter walked to his study table and slashed down with his claw. The table split cleanly in two, wood splintering under the sheer force of his strike.

"Damn, these are strong and sharp." He murmured, now confident that he could fend off enemies without needing extra weapons.

But his claws weren't the only surprise. Peter felt a strange pressure on his back, almost like a stirring. With a thought, four large, arachnid-like legs emerged from his back, extending outward, sharp and formidable.

"Whoa!" Peter whispered, examining the alien limbs with awe. Not only did he possess Spider-Man's original powers, but he also had these… enhancements.

Strangely, the transformations were painless. As easily as they emerged, the claws and legs retracted when he willed them to.

Realizing it was already night, Peter headed to the bathroom, careful not to break anything with his newfound strength. After a quick shower, he dressed and went downstairs for dinner.

"Oh, you're finally up." May said as he entered, "You must've been exhausted from the tour. I didn't want to wake you."

"Yeah, it was tiring." Peter replied, sitting at the dining table. Noticing how his clothes clung more tightly to his frame, May looked surprised but shrugged it off, serving dinner.

Afterward, Peter returned to his room, patiently waiting until May went to bed. Confirming with his enhanced hearing that she was asleep, he pulled on a black hoodie and mask, then slipped out his window, scaling the walls with ease.

Once on the roof, Peter shot a web at the nearby building and swung forward, gliding through the city in smooth arcs. He aimed for Hell's Kitchen, a place known for its criminal activities—an ideal spot to test his powers.

After about half an hour of swinging, he arrived. Standing at the top of a building, he scanned the streets below until he spotted a scene unfolding in a dark alley.

"P-Please, let me go!" A terrified woman pleaded, backing away from a man who approached her with an evil grin.

"Heh, don't worry, sweetheart. I'll make sure you enjoy it." The man sneered, taking slow steps toward her.

"Please, just let me go." the woman begged, her voice trembling.

Suddenly, a heavy thud echoed behind the man. Startled, he spun around, facing Peter, who stood cloaked in shadow, a masked figure in a hoodie.

"Who the hell are you?" The man snarled, trying to sound threatening.

Peter didn't bother answering. In a flash, he closed the distance, grabbed the man by the neck, and lifted him effortlessly, squeezing just enough to choke him.

"Ugh!" The man gagged, stunned by Peter's speed and strength.

Peter glanced at the woman, his voice calm but commanding, "Go."

"Th-Thank you!" She stammered, quickly regaining her senses before sprinting away.

Once she was gone, Peter turned his full attention to the man dangling from his grasp. Red veins pulsed around Peter's eyes as his anger flared. Without hesitation, he extended his claw and drove it into the man's chest. Blood spurted from the wound, and the man's eyes went wide before his body went limp.

Peter let go, allowing the body to slump to the ground. Coldly, he wiped the blood from his claws. In his past life, he wasn't a stranger to killing, but he had his own code—he'd only eliminate those who deserved it, and rapists certainly fit that criteria.

He was about to leave when he suddenly heard a metallic chime. A blue screen appeared in front of him, startling him.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, Host! The Killer System is activated!]

[Information about the system is being transferred to your mind!]

Peter's mind reeled as knowledge flooded his thoughts. Already coming to terms with the fact that he was now Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, the addition of a mysterious system was beyond surprising.

The system he received was the "Killer System," rewarding him for eliminating his enemies. There were no stats or shops—only a simple reward system tied to his kills. However, only killing significant opponents or threats would yield rewards, not trivial creatures or meaningless lives.

As Peter absorbed this new information, another message appeared:

[For your first kill in this world, you've unlocked the starter pack!]

[Open it simply by saying or thinking "Open."]

"Open," Peter commanded, eager to see his prize.

The screen changed, listing his rewards:

[Congratulations! You have received the 'Ancient Dragon's Bloodline' and the 'Ancient Kryptonian Bloodline'!]

[Merge with your body? Y/N]

Peter's eyes widened in disbelief. The Ancient Kryptonian Bloodline was legendary, far beyond what he'd ever expected. Superman's power, but more ancient and purer? And the Dragon Bloodline was equally mysterious, promising strength and resilience.

Laughing with exhilaration, Peter selected "Yes."

[Merging process initiated. The host will gradually become stronger as the bloodlines integrate fully.]

The screen disappeared, and Peter felt a warm surge spreading through his veins. He understood that the full power of these bloodlines would come gradually, but for now, he was content with his new spider abilities.

With renewed excitement, he shot a web to a nearby building, launching himself into the air, swinging gracefully back toward his house.

Reaching his roof, Peter slipped back into his room, careful to clean his clothes and any bloodstains. After tidying up, he collapsed onto his bed, closing his eyes as he drifted off, a sly smile playing on his lips. The future was limitless, and he would seize every bit of it.

Just as Peter was drifting into a deep sleep, something suddenly clicked in his mind—the spider. He had forgotten all about it.

With a swift motion, Peter sat up and looked at the table where he'd left the box containing the spider.

"Haah, there you are." He said, relieved to see the spider still inside. It was staring at him intently, its focus entirely on him.

This surprised Peter; he felt an odd connection with the spider, as if it wanted to come out of the box. After a moment's thought, Peter picked up the box and opened it, allowing the spider to emerge.

As soon as the box opened, the spider crawled out and jumped directly onto Peter's hand. It then rubbed its small head against his skin, almost like a pet showing affection to its owner.

Seeing this, Peter was taken aback but didn't mind; he actually enjoyed the contact. The connection between them felt real, perhaps due to the bite, but this behavior was never in the original plot.

'Maybe the spider died in the original plot.' Peter thought, 'Or maybe there's something more going on here.'

After rubbing its head against his skin, the spider looked straight into his eyes.

"Huh, you're hungry and want to drink my blood?" Through their connection, Peter sensed what the spider wanted and asked directly.

"If you're hungry, you can drink my blood." He said, giving it permission.

Without hesitation, the spider gently inserted its fangs and began drinking. Peter was surprised; he hadn't known spiders actually enjoyed drinking blood.

After a few moments, the spider withdrew its fangs, looking content.

"Haha, you act more like a dog than a spider." Peter said with a laugh, realizing he should give it a name, "Since we can understand each other, it only makes sense to give you a name."

He paused, studying the female spider thoughtfully. Yes, it was a female spider.

"Got it! From now on, your name is Velora." He announced with a smile.

Upon hearing her name, Velora jumped in excitement, clearly happy with her new identity. Her joy made Peter smile, too.

After spending some time with Velora, Peter decided it was finally time to sleep. As he lay down on the bed, Velora settled in a corner of the bed, clearly intent on staying close to him.
