Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 309 Mandible ants

"To be honest, I never intended to let you go, but your actions just now have solidified my resolve to get rid of you." Blaze Regret chuckled, then opened one of the bottles and sprinkled all the deep red powder onto Silver Van.

"No!"

Smelling the strange fragrance, Silver Van's hair stood on end, his face full of terror. He knew all too well the horrific consequences of the Gluttonous Flower's powder.

"Let's go." Blaze Regret stood up, waved a hand to the others, and leisurely headed toward the marked location on the map.

Abandoning the fire ape, the rock horn dragon rhinoceros followed Blaze Regret with heavy steps. Red looked at the ape paw with bite marks, hesitated for a moment, and then tossed it high into the air.

As Blaze Regret and the others departed, several small leaves began to spin in the clearing. A small emerald green creature joyfully emerged from between the leaves, grabbed the falling ape paw, and disappeared from the scene in a flash.

With his face pressed against the ground, Silver Van stared blankly at this scene, his cries having stopped at some point. Just now, he seemed to have witnessed something extraordinary.

"Hiss!" Continue your adventure at empire

Suddenly, a rustling sound came from beneath the ground. The soil shifted, and a black ant quickly crawled out, extending two sharp fangs from its mouth.

Following this ant, countless black figures emerged from the soil, their gazes on Silver Van filled with a greedy glint, as though they had discovered the most delicious food.

"Mandible ants, it's mandible ants!"

Seeing the swarm of black ants rushing towards him, Silver Van curled up into a ball, trembling like a leaf, his shrill screams echoing through the sky. But soon, his voice abruptly stopped as the mass of mandible ants swarmed into his mouth.

...

The dark mountain range loomed, layer upon layer, appearing like the undulating waves of the sea from the foothills below.

Beyond this mountain range lay the blood red area recorded on Silver Van's map.

"The secret of the Blood Seal Gate is probably hidden behind this."

Muttering to himself as he gazed at the mountain range, Blaze Regret twisted his hand, conjuring two spirit portals out of thin air, which absorbed the rock horn dragon rhinoceros and the Ice Control Irenix. After a slight whimper, Red quickly transformed into a beguiling state, becoming a miniature Three Tail Sun Blaze Cat perched on his shoulder.

This mountain range was quite steep, and it took Blaze Regret a full hour to climb to the top.

"If I had ridden on the Ice Control Irenix, I could have reached here in no time."

Leaning against a large boulder, Blaze Regret panted lightly, though he understood that the Ice Control Irenix, being a spirit beast, would be an easy target in the sky, risking attacks from other spirit beasts and revealing their location.

Turning to look below, Blaze Regret's body suddenly froze.

Beyond the mountain range lay a massive blood colored lake. The overwhelming scent of blood rose from it, tinting the backside of the mountain range with a faint red hue.

Within the amber light, an enormous vine stretched across the lake, surrounded by buds that pulsed gently, resembling beating hearts.

As Blaze Regret gazed at a bud on the verge of fully blooming, he felt a slight tremor in his heart. Inside the bud was unmistakably a Ghost Vine Flower of the seventh tier, low level Imperial Grade!

"So, it's the mother plant of the Ghost Vine Flower. No wonder the elders of the Blood Seal Gate possess so many bloodline spirit beasts," Blaze Regret realized, his eyes narrowing slightly.

A blood red flash streaked through the air, revealing the form of a Blood Fiend hovering above. In its hand, it held a hefty black ape rhinoceros. With a twist of its cross shaped blade, torrents of fresh blood seeped from the black ape rhinoceros, flowing into the blood colored lake.

"That's too brutal."

Blaze Regret exhaled a cool breath, calming his shaken emotions. Meanwhile, the emerald green creature perched beside him mimicked his gesture, nodding in agreement.

In the ancient Abyss of Black Shadows, towering peaks pierced the sky. Amidst these peaks lay a massive blood red lake, strikingly conspicuous. Occasionally, roars of beasts echoed from it, but each roar ceased abruptly. Their blood had been entirely drained and poured into the lake, making the already spine chilling red even more intense and viscous.

"The Blood Seal Gate's ambition is indeed vast. These elders are likely not genuine bloodline spirit masters."

Looking down from a high vantage point, Blaze Regret sneered inwardly. No wonder the Blood Seal Gate's overall strength had improved so rapidly. With this blood lake at their disposal, even if they wanted to slow down, it would be impossible.

Moreover, in pursuit of temporary power, these elders had unhesitatingly chosen to taint their spiritual portals. This act was utterly foolish, ensuring they'd never reach the level of a Spirit Lord in their lifetime.

Spirit masters with tainted portals face resistance hundreds of times greater than ordinary spirit masters.

"Crunch!"

Just as Blaze Regret's thoughts were racing, a crisp chewing sound suddenly came from beside him, accompanied by a fresh herbal fragrance wafting through the air.

Startled, Blaze Regret flipped to his left as if electrocuted, casting a surprised glance beside him.

The small emerald green beast blinked its black eyes at Blaze Regret's exaggerated reaction, but its munching didn't pause for a moment.

It was gnawing on the Spirit Gathering Fruits from Blaze Regret's spatial stone. These fruits, which typically required refinement, were being bitten into like ordinary wild fruits by the little beast.

"Hand them over!"

Seeing the dozens of Spirit Gathering Fruits in front of the beast, Blaze Regret felt a pang of heartache. These fruits were hard earned and were not available for sale in the shops at Bloodstone Pass.
