NOVEL NEXT Chapter 23: chapter 22: So ,you, expect me,to fight that,with this?
(So I fucked Revans mask color last chapter,but let's just say he added some, spice to the mask)
(POV William)
Darkness enveloped me as I slowly felt like I lost my senses but before that I felt I was floating..
After what seems like a long time I felt my senses come back,looking around I saw what could only be described as a Colosseum, the stone steps that act as benches ,the various gates leading into the colosseum, shocked me into thinking I might have time traveled to Ancient Rome.
Feeling around my body i noticed I had the robes with the armor and mask on.
Sighing in relief i looked up to see a massive gate it was an understatement to say it was huge, if I had to guess its at least over a hundred meters tall and 40 meters wide.
"Nah what kinda gate is this" I said outlud trying to get the voice to answer.
"You have 1 minute and 30 seconds to prepare yourself" was all I heard the voice say.
Looking all around I only saw flat ground , checking my body I found the lightsaber but that's it, sighing I unhooked it and held it up.
After admiring the medieval style of the weapon, its golden plating, I clicked the button, closing my eyes to pretend to be cool..

Instead of the typical light saber noise i thought i would hear i instead heard metal noises,opening my eyes i was dumbfounded.
'Where was the lightsaber i was promised?,wait was i promised?, eh whatever' i thought as i stared at the 4 foot long, black Smokey colored blade in my hand.
Yep a goddamed vibrio blade that somehow came out of a barley 1 foot long medieval hilt,no cool light saber blade,i shrugged my shoulders as i didn't particularly care I was just surprised.
"So what am i fighting" I said as I swung the blade around with familiarity, my time as an emperor was long gone but I still got my skills...
" are you prepared?" The voice asked.
Thinking for a second I decided not to tempt fate and started to head away from the massive gate which the being so gracefully placed me by..
After running a good distance I said while still running.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be go for it" I said softly as I was conserving my strength and energy, keeping a decent pace I looked around..
(Third person )
After jogging for a few more seconds, William slowly came to a stop as he breathed lightly looking at the massive door with some excitement and trepidation.
" good now that you're prepared, let the game begin!!!!!" The voice said with excitement, trying to shake Williams emotions, but it didn't work, the voice only smiled at this then looked towards the massive door.
All around the Colosseum seats,figures started to flicker into existence, many of these figures wore hoods or robes eyeing each other before looking towards the stadium.
One such figure that appeared wore a mandalorian helmet in the style of a neo crusader colored black and red mask with gray coloring ,he sat down next to another figure.
"nihilus" said the man in the mask nodding,he stared at the figure as he sat down before turning his attention to the Colosseum.
"Revan" said nihilus as he nodded in greeting before also looking.
Many scenes like this played out across the arena, many of the once mighty sith,Jedi and force user alike watched closely the figure holding the blade.
"You think the outsider can pass the test" said a Jedi nonchalantly to the figure next to him .
"Nah not even close" said a sith with disdain.
"Don't be so quick to judge" sai a voice above the two, they looked in unison over at the figure.
"Lord Vitiate" said the sith bowing to show respect.
The man didn't even acknowledge the bow,just looking at the figure with a strange emotion.
The Jedi didn't dare bud into the conversation again so he just sat there, why did he have to be surrounded by sith?,he should have chosen a different seat earlier but it's too late..

William looked at the many spectators and shrugged, he himself has done a few games like this in his time as emperor, so he didn't feel any pressure..
The massive gate began to open, William then started to get into a defensive stance..
What William saw as the door began to open was a massive body, its figure grew clearer with each inch the gate opened.
Stepping out of the gate the massive creature moved its body.
William looked at the creature with a head tilt,he then said to the air.
"So ,you, expect me,to fight that,with this?" William spoke with some disbelief as he looked at the blade and at the massive creature.
"Yes" the voice straight up said flatly
"What even is that thing?" William asked as he jumped up and down warming up his body.
Many in the stands saw this and raised their eyebrows.
"You're not afraid?" The voice asked William with an unknown emotion.
" scared?, hah who isn't scared that thing is over 90 meters tall and 35 meters wide, I'm goddamed terrified" William said nonchalantly, he was afraid but he fought a monster or two similar to this beast back then.
William looked at the beast with a nostalgic look before he began to sprint right towards it..
The crowd saw this and were surprised but didn't care much..
"Can I ask what is that beast, If you don't know then I have a pretty good idea ?" William spoke to the voice while running.
As William reached the beast's striking range, it raised its massive claws and swiped towards the ground.
"Woah" William let out a woah sound as he barley dodged the beasts claws, his robes and armor cracked as the beasts claws barley scratched it.
"The beast has no name" the voice leisurely said as it watched William.
"Yeah?" William said as he used the beasts massive size to his advantage cutting a slight edge of the beasts finger…
William wanted to curse but decided it was a waste of energy, he jumped up as the beast smacked the ground landing right next to the beast.
William took this opportunity and started running up the beast's arm, the beast swung its other hand in his direction.
"Dam, just a big idiot or what?" William grumbled but didn't dare relax half a heartbeat.
Many saw this and nodded secretly.
William jumped off the beasts arm as he didn't see any use climbing up as the beast impacted its arm sending ripples all over its skin, William decided to go for the heel and booked it.
The beast saw the ant going underneath it and lifted its foot smashing it down.
William looked up as the foot was halfway to his face,with a quick reflex he ducked and rolled over the shockwave send him flying out.
*cough*
William spat out a mouthful of blood and teeth then got right up and went back into the fray.

Meanwhile in the stands….
"Do you thing he will win" asked a robed Jedi master
"Nah" said a Sith Lord leisurely relaxing..
"Tsk no fun" interjected a force user who wore gray.
"Go away gray" said the Jedi and Sith in unison,they then looked at each other with killing intent.
"Enough you know you can't fight here" said a old looking zabrak with red and black skin.
The group then stayed silent..

Back with William....
William cut the giants achilles , but only left a shallow wound, this only angered the beast.
William: "…"
Crowd: "…"
William was the fastest to react in the arena(not the stands), and quickly ran for it as the beasts massive foot stomped down.
"Oi voice, why did you fucking summon an eldrich horror!!!!" William cursed not bothering to do a Star Wars curse , as he grew increasingly frustrated..

"An eldrich?, I don't know what you're talking about" the voice said
"I don't fucking believe that!!!!!" William said as his body flew like a ragdoll.
William laid on the ground in extreme pain,but quickly got up cracked ribs and blood coming out the mouth be damned.
"*coughs blood* COME ON!!!" William shouted and charged again…
The beast saw this and jumped in the air its massive body was like a meteor coming fast.
Crowd: "…"
Voice: "…"
William: "…fuck"
William could not go anywhere and jumped up aiming to take it with him,the crowd all looked intently , this man was braver than most…
The space all around stayed still as if frozen….
William looked around his eyes the only thing moving, the arena began to crumble as if it
was an illusion..
"Goodbye outsider,you have passed the test"
Was the only thing William heard before he blacked out..
William's body laid on the ground of the arena,various spectators gathered around him looking at this outsider..
"He passed the test, not one has done it before in several a millennium" said an ancient looking man his outfit was like a beggar on the street in ancient times…
"Indeed" said revan…
"Well, don't be so sad revan" said Nihilus in a joking manner.
"I'm not sad, I'm glad he passed that means we don't have to guard it anymore" was what revan said before taking one last look at this outsider and left.
The others nodded in relief and left…..
The voice noticed that there were no others around before the voice appeared in front of William showing an ethereal beauty with a blue glow…

She smiled at William before he vanished, she then looked at the massive beast that's trembling in fear and smiled.
"An eldrich?" She said and tilted her head pondering .

William appeared in a massive control room,the room was damaged showing only one intact console, the wires and blaster marks around showing that there was an intense battle…
William's body was slowly put down in a seat at the center of the room…..
