Chapter 5: 5 Star Wars It's real!
Jon Roberts was immersed in the documents, which soon, combined with the knowledge instilled in his mind, began to become his own.
However, just looking at the documents is still not enough. The most important thing is to put what he was learning into practice.
"Mei, I am going to visit the colony on Sanctuary. Help me arrange it. Also are there any resource collectors? If there are some have them mine the asteroid belt to collect resources to help with building the colony, ships, and stations." Jon Roberts closed the screen in front of him and opened his mouth.
[Understood, Commander. In addition, it is recommended that you bring your personal bodyguards when you go out.]
"I also have a personal bodyguard. Let them come over." Jon Roberts is quite interested in the bodyguard.
The doors of the bridge opened, and a team of burly figures walked in. They were dresses in military uniform, their standard inverted triangle shape and their familiar face was as firm as steel.
Upon seeing the bodyguards, Jon Roberts only felt an electric current pass through his heart, "This...You...Won't be..."
"Starting today, we will act as your personal bodyguards. You can call us T-800." The team, with legs as straight as compasses and hands behind their backs, said in a somewhat hoarse and robust voice.
"You're a Terminator?!" Although wearing a military uniform, Jon Roberts understands that this team's style is not quite in tune. This is obviously Schwarzenegger!
"We're a Cyber Research Systems Series T-800. 'Terminator' is not in our database. Please explain." The T-800 said rigidly, not moving a muscle.
"Is the terminator on our list of technologies? Mei."
"T-800 is a droid bodyguard equipped for the Commander. Their database has entered aa variety of important protection tasks and fighting data on different occasions, which can perfectly complete the task." Mei answers directly.
Jon Roberts looked at the face he had seen countless times on the screen and nodded, thinking that if it were the world of Star Wars, there would indeed be a more suitable droid. He stood up and said, "Grab your weapons and follow me."
...
The transport ship landed on the tarmac where Sanctuary's ground was leveled out. Jon Roberts and the team of T-800 stepped off the transport ship, and the Workers next to them immediately began carrying supplies from inside the transport ship.
Construction of the colony has begun to take shape. More than a dozen two and three-story houses have been set up and supporting facilities have been built. Jon even saw several Residents set up multiple Open-Air hydroponics Equipment by the lake and started growing crops.
Upon seeing Jon Roberts, each Resident would bow respectfully and cordially greet him.
"Greetings, Commander. I am Jay, an Elite Management Major. You have just appointed me the mayor of this colony." A young man with blonde hair came over and shook hands with Jon Roberts somewhat excitedly. "Because I was sent down just after the appointment, and I couldn't see you personally. When I regretted it, you came down to inspect in person. It made me proud!"
Jon Roberts patted him on the shoulder and encouraged him, "I will continue to pay attention to the construction of the colony, you can report to me anytime if you have any questions that the others can't answer."
"It's my pleasure! You have allowed me to board the Mothership and entrusted me with the responsibility of begin mayor of the first colony. I can hardly repay you!" Jay was very excited, but he still adjusted to state, "By the way, Commander, in the process of our construction, we found some natives who should be intelligent like and look like small bears walking on their hind legs. How do we deal with it?"
"Native Aboriginals that look like small bears walking on their hind legs?"
"Look, it's over there." Jay pointed ahead to the edge of the forest, and sure enough, there were shadowy figures moving.
Jon Roberts asked for a pair of binoculars and looked, only to see what looked like upright bears. They were about one meter high, wearing animal skins and holding stone spears and bows. They pointed curiously. Some were cheering at the passing transport ships, and some even knelt down and prostrated themselves.
His heart started suddenly beating faster, Jon Roberts, who had been very fond of the "Star Wars" series, opened the memory in his head, and he quickly recognized the names of these aliens.
"Ewoks...really Ewoks..." He murmured.
No wonder this moon felt so familiar when he saw it before. The fact that Nine moons orbit is a gas giant instead of a star is unique. It turns out that it was officially called Endor before he named it the Sanctuary!
He knew this because Endor is one of the most famous moons in Star Wars. In the movie "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi", Endor is one of the main battlefields between the Galactic Empire and the Rebal Alliance.
If that's the case, it looks like this is the "Star Wars" Universe for good!
It's "Star Wars." Jon Roberts holds his forehead and sighs. And Sanctuary is the main battlefield! It looks like we really have to worry about the attack of Star Destroyers. Thier own little Capital in this world is really nothing. Although the Hiigara Mothership is huge, it is only a civilian Mothership for immigrants.
So, the question now is, what is the current era? The absence of war debris in space surrounding Endor suggests that the War that brought down the Galactic Empire has not yet been fought. But before this war, countless things happened in the Universe. Several wars broke out, the Galactic Republic was divided and destroyed, and the Galactic Empire was built and destroyed...
All in all, it's a Universe full off wars...
He thought for a moment and said to Jay, "Tell the Mothership to send down the next transport ship with a few boxes of candy. The natives are not very aggressive. You can approach them discreetly and use candy to establish friendly relations with them, but at the same time, strengthen your defense, build some guard towers around to keep watch and set patrols with the Marines to increase the security of the area."
"Yes, Commander. I'll get on it right away." Jay responded.
Jon smiled at him and said, "Come on, Jay. Managing a thousand or so people as the village head is just the beginning. I look forward to the day when you will continue to be mayor and even governor."
"Yes! I will certainly try!" Jay's eyes lit up. He quickly stood at attention and saluted and then started working on it with 150 percent momentum. He scooped up a large box and without the help of a mechanized exoskeleton, ran all the way to the wind farm under construction next door to join the hectic construction work.
Jon Roberts breathed a sigh of relief. He took a few steps forward and looked at the pristine green world ahead.
Gurgling water, a mirror-like lake, unknown flocks of birds skimming through the air, frightened herds racing across the grasslands, predators close behind, waiting for their chance.
The towering trees and endless shadows of the mountains can be seen in the distance. A thin layer of dark clouds is gathering in the sky, and there should be a light rain soon.
If it weren't for the strange animals and planets, Jon Roberts might even feel like he's on the African Savannah in spring. The vibrant world finally dispelled the gloom in his heart, and he couldn't help but take a deep breath...
Jon Roberts called Mei. "Mei send a transport ship for me so I can go back up to the Mothership."
"Yes, Commander."
While waiting for the transport ship Jon started to think of nothing to do right now.
...
"Commander!"
"Commander! Wake up!!" Some anxious voices woke Jon Roberts up, and he found that he didn't know when he fell asleep, standing up to fall asleep!
"How..." Jon Roberts' words were not finished; he only heard a lot of things falling to the ground. But he saw more than ten boxes fall out of the air, fell to the ground, and the inside goods to be scattered across the ground.
`What's going on? He quickly turned and asked the team of T-800, who had been standing next to him.
"Objects around you were suddenly floating out of control, but your body is perfectly normal as if you were asleep." One of the T-800's simple answer.
"I just fell asleep standing up after I asked Mei to send a transport ship to pick us up. And then things just floated around?" Jon Roberts asked, looking over his shoulder when he saw Jay nearby.
"Yes, we were afraid to come here. Your bodyguards said your vital signs were normal, so we didn't venture and closer." Jay was still apprehensive.
"What's going on? Oxygen drunk? Or is it the force?" Jon Roberts' heart suddenly startled. He suddenly thought of a possibility but still needed further confirmation. So, he nodded and said, "Forget it. Mei where is that transport ship I called for earlier? Give me a thorough physical examination."
[Commander, I'm sorry top bother you, but there is an urgent message that requires your immediate decision. Just now, the Mothership intercepted a hyperspace communication from Sanctuary.] Mei voice suddenly came over the communicator.
