Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Feather Moon Power
Jing Shaoyu felt an overwhelming sense of joy inside. As expected, his dinner with Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi had worked perfectly; Gu Yue was incredibly easy to provoke.
Why did he specifically invite them up to meet with everyone? Besides catching up, he had another ulterior motive: to stimulate Gu Yue.
With her sharp intelligence, once Gu Yue saw Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi together with Jing Shaoyu, she would undoubtedly understand his intention. This would leave her with only two choices:
One: remain silent and wait for the results of Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi's attempt. If they failed, it would pose no harm, but if they succeeded, it would create some friction between her and Jing Shaoyu.
The other: come clean to Jing Shaoyu.
Clearly, Gu Yue chose the latter. It was the best choice, after all.
After revealing her elemental powers, Gu Yue still leaned against Jing Shaoyu's embrace, and her voice unconsciously grew firmer as she spoke, "Hmph! Don't think I didn't notice what you were up to with Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi."
"Oh? Well, do tell me," Jing Shaoyu replied with a slight laugh.
"Hmph!" Gu Yue snorted, then pushed herself away from Jing Shaoyu, her face turning cold as she positioned herself with a frosty expression. She placed her hand on his chest and gently pushed him back onto the bed.
"Now, I command you, let's practice Harmonious Cultivation together!" Gu Yue said with a commanding tone, almost like a queen.
"Yes, my queen!" Jing Shaoyu grinned playfully, immediately sitting up and striking a pose of mock submission, awaiting her next move.
Seeing him in such a manner, Gu Yue's cheeks flushed slightly as she muttered under her breath, "Pervert!" before kicking off her shoes and climbing onto the bed to sit across from him.
Their second attempt at Harmonious Cultivation was, without a doubt, successful. After Gu Yue's confession, Jing Shaoyu could clearly feel the invisible wall between them all but vanish. It was only natural—after all, Gu Yue had nearly revealed her true identity to him. There were no more tests of the Seven-Colored Dragon; it was all about the Silver Dragon and trust.
Unlike the orange-red Feather Word Power, the new soul power between Jing Shaoyu and Gu Yue manifested in a brilliant silver hue, radiating with a colorful halo. It perfectly blended their Martial Souls, an intricate combination of many elements, and this new power seemed to be aptly named the "Feather Moon Power."
An hour later, they both opened their eyes. A flash of silver light flickered in Jing Shaoyu's gaze, while Gu Yue's eyes gleamed with a hint of green. They exchanged a knowing smile.
"Continue," Gu Yue said, her tone leaving no room for refusal.
"...Alright," Jing Shaoyu reluctantly agreed, but his thoughts turned to Xu Xiaoyan. Sorry, Xiaoyan. I didn't mean for it to happen this way.
At that moment, Xu Xiaoyan was fast asleep in Jing Shaoyu's room, her youthful face soft with the peacefulness of dreams.

Morning of the Fifth Day of the Tianhai League Tournament
When Jing Shaoyu left Gu Yue's room to prepare for the fifth round of the Designer Competition, he stopped by his own room and saw that Xu Xiaoyan was still deep in sleep.
"This girl..." He smiled indulgently, shaking his head before leaving the room.
The fifth round of the Designer Competition had reached the final eight participants. This round would determine the top four, so the venue was much more crowded than usual. As Jing Shaoyu arrived at the third competition venue, he noticed the usual quiet atmosphere was now lively with spectators.
Starting with this round, the format for the Designer Competition had been standardized, and the focus was now purely on design principles. Each contestant would be given five specific directions and tasked with designing a third-level or higher Soul Engineer device within one hour.
Of course, because this was a design competition, only the drawings were required. A team of event staff would handle the verification process.
The competition had two hidden rules: First, the drawings had to be less than 80% similar to known Soul Engineer devices in the market. Second, the designs didn't need to be practical or commercialized. As long as the drawings met the competition requirements, they were considered successful.
Jing Shaoyu's task was to design based on these five themes: combat-oriented, small-sized, agility-based, durable, and cold weapon-themed.
The directions were quite clear, and after a brief moment of thought, Jing Shaoyu began to sketch his ideas on the paper. Soon, a rough draft appeared on his sheet. He focused intently, adding details and refining every aspect of the design.
Half an hour later, Jing Shaoyu set his pen down, stretching his back with a satisfied smile.
The judges in the viewing area were all watching closely. When they saw Jing Shaoyu set down his pen, they instinctively widened their eyes, thinking, Did he finish already? A third-level design in half an hour? Impressive.
Jing Shaoyu raised his hand to signal the end, and the proctor quickly collected his paper. He left the competition venue and headed to the next location: Tianhai Grand Stadium. As he exited, his design was handed to the elderly judges.
"Looks like this kid designed a spiked weapon!" one of the old judges remarked.
"Wait, is this a Level Four Acceleration Formation?! This one's Level Four Hardness Formation! And this one's a Level Four Bleeding Formation?!" another said in surprise.
"This... this looks like a Level Four Soul Engineer design!"
"Good heavens! This kid is exceptional! A Level Four design in half an hour... Our East Sea City Mecha Association could really use someone like him!"
"Yeah, looks like the next two rounds are practically unnecessary. This kid's ability to design a Level Four Soul Engineer device with such ease shows his solid foundation. He might already be working on Level Five Soul Engineer arrays."
"Don't be mistaken, although this kid is talented, engraving Level Five arrays requires more than just talent; he needs the soul power to back it up. Unless this kid is already a Soul Rank, his soul power isn't enough to engrave a full Level Five array."
"Old fool, this is a Designer, not a Manufacturer. Why would a Designer need to engrave arrays?"
"You're the old fool! Can Designers not be compared to Manufacturers? This separation is a recent thing, a mere adaptation for combat armor and mechs. It doesn't compare to the true legacy of Soul Engineers!"
"Get lost, 'true Soul Engineers'? Soul Engineers can't defeat mecha engineers! They're relics that should have been buried long ago!"
"Yeah, you're the relic!"
The old men almost broke out into a full-blown argument, their heated discussion distracting them from the ongoing competition, leaving the remaining contestants in confusion.
Meanwhile, Jing Shaoyu, who had no idea about the commotion his design had caused, met up with Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi at the Tianhai Grand Stadium entrance. The joy on their faces was clear—they had succeeded in their Harmonious Cultivation.
"Yangzi, Jinxi," Jing Shaoyu greeted them warmly.
"Class Rep!" Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi quickly ran up to him, eager to talk. "We..."
Jing Shaoyu raised his hand to stop them. "I know. You don't have to say it."
"Oh, right!" They both nodded quickly, and Wang Jinxi added, "Class Rep, you're too awesome! How did you come up with this method?"
Jing Shaoyu laughed and said, "I read it in an old book, got curious, and decided to try it."
"Ah, so that's how it is." Wang Jinxi was enlightened, while Zhang Yangzi, though curious, didn't press the issue. It didn't concern them directly.
"Class Rep, what about you and Gu Yue?" Zhang Yangzi asked.
"We've resolved things." Jing Shaoyu smiled.
Seeing his smile, Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi exchanged looks, their admiration for Jing Shaoyu growing. "Well, Class Rep, we won't keep you from the next match. We'll cheer for you from the stands."
"Thanks." Jing Shaoyu nodded, watching them leave.
As he entered the player area, he spotted Gu Yue, Xu Xiaoyan, Tang Wulin, and Xie Xie sitting together.
"Huh? Interesting. Why are these two sitting together today?" From his vantage point, it looked like Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan were sitting next to each other, bu
t as he got closer, he realized there was an empty seat between them.
"Heh, I knew it!" He smiled bitterly.
