sonic the hedgehog: the lost king.

Sonic and the team notice people, vehicles and even whole container carriers enter the portal, the people on the other side also begins to pass by eachother. They pass through and finds themselves greeted by the hot arid air of Egypt. The portal opens every 3 hours for 15 mins and by the time they leave the junction, it closes behind them as they move on.

Led by Amy, the group proceeds to her favourite spot 'a icecream parlour'. The group takes some time eating before moving towards a underground train system and board a train for cairo, the train tunnel is made to make the train hover in air through magnetism and it's speed controlled by magic runes.

After an hour of travel, the group reaches the cairo and travels to a magestic building named Egg Corps. As soon as they enter, knuckles spots a familiar face.

Knuckles: Uncle Graham?

A tall figure of 7 feet with thick arms and legs with a grown mane and army shirt with green jeans turns to meet knuckles's gaze and quickly scoops in for a hug. He lifts knuckles while giving him a bear hug.

Graham: you have gotten bigger boy. Maybe you will be one lifting me soon.*lets knuckles go*

Knuckles:*lands on his feet* only a fool will be able to lift you in hug with that colossal body of yours. Why are you here?

Graham:*makes a fist and slams it onto knuckles's head* the first thing you ask is why I am here? Why the hell you never answers the calls of those brats?

Knuckles:*rubs his head* those brats will make my life hell like you, look at those white hair in your mane.

Tails lightly coughs to get their attention, knuckles introduces Graham.

Knuckles: this my uncle Graham, he is my father's friend and my tutor during my early teens. He is also a busy man, father of 6 kids but the works have him stay for 10 months a year. I heard he tried to get his retirement early but no way GUN letting a B grade tier 6 get retirement early.

Graham: oi that's enough. So, y'all are the team that was asked to come here?

Tails: You knew about us?

Graham: How could I not, Mr.Robotnik wanted to meet you and me urgently. Let's not keep him waiting.

Everyone enters a elevator that led them a giant room with robots roaming around with machine parts and a middle-aged man sitting on his table with a bunch of blueprints.

Tails: Mr. Robotnik.

The man turns around, he is wearing a red and black scientist suit with a pair of goggles on his bald head, he is wearing slippers and looks extremely tired.

Robotnik: Tails my boy, How have you been?

Sonic: Tails you know him?

Robotnik: of course he will,*puts a hand on his chest* I am this brat's teacher and his guardian. I found him on a visit to a orphanage in camalot about 10 years ago, I left a guard bot in my study before going around surveying orphanages that GUN had there. Comeback to find 5 year old having fun with a completely disassembled robot.

Tails: * tries to divert the topic * Maybe we should come back lat-

Amy:*grabs tails and covers his mouth* Tell us more.

Robotnik: Right.. a certain someone was making a schematic out of the guard. The director caught him and was about to ground him when I asked "How did you do it boy" the child went ahead and reassembled it back. I decided to adopt him, took him to earth, gave him some blueprints, gave him a shower, gave some other blueprints, fed him, gave him even more blueprints and then put him to sleep.( Kung fu Panda with a robot addiction instead of food basically)

Tails:*struggles out of Amy's grip* NO MORE!!

Everyone looked at the embarrassed fox and laughed. Sometime later, robotnik took them to his dining room and begins telling.

Robotnik: Tails told me, that you*looks at sonic* have S graded bloodline that is speed related.

Sonic: I do.

Robotnik: Then, we can get to the point, A agent of GUN and an adoptive child of mine have gone rogue.. they have a S graded speed bloodline and have managed to escape any plan I tried. S rank speedsters can reach levels 3 tiers higher than normal.

Tails told me about you once and I can't think of anything else to do this. Most of the GUN have only B rank speedsters available right now while all A grades have either been send on the recent expenditure and the remaining are on missions.

Tails:*worried* Don't tell me Shadow-

Robotnik:*shamefully* Yes.

Tails: But why? What happened?

Robotnik: That bastard mephiles told shadow about the cause of maria's death. Shadow's hatred for the order peaked and a plan formed. Shadow plans something and I have a idea of what it is.

Amy: So what is our mission?

Robotnik: You must capture shadow and come back. We leave Tommorow for the meteor base, if you need any equipment take them from the storage.

The saddened man walks out of the room leaving behind questions and a single fox to answer them all.

Knuckles: who is this shadow and what is it's plan?

Tails: shadow is the other kid adopted by him *points at the leaving robotnik* shadow was a child who was part of the experiment lead by founder of egg corps many years ago, he was the grandfather of Mr. Robotnik. Maria was Mr. Robotnik's cousin who was being treated for a terminal illness at the base build in space called 'ARC'. She was killed when undercover cultists disguised as GUN soldiers attacked the arc, shadow was later found in a cyro chamber.

Amy: Why do you call him Mr.Robotnik and not-

Tails: I can't, I want to buy the memories make me hesitate.

Nobody talked further and left for their rooms in the building.

At the top of Egg Corps building, tails is standing alone when a voice comes.

???: So, you still have some trust in me.

Tails: no jokes now Shadow, why have you come?

A figure with a black cloak appears in front of tails, their whole body hidden in darkness.(Tai lung scene)

Shadow: I saw them.. I remember everything that you hid.*circles around tails*You knew but still hid it from me. You knew that the people who killed maria were Herald's men who came to kill me, an experiment he wanted to hide.

Tails: I may have not meet her but*looks at shadow with contempt* she wouldn't want to see you like this.

Shadow: she. Was. The. Only. Family. I had. Wouldn't you do the same if you meet the one who killed yours.

Tails couldn't find a answer but nor did he want to. He tried to activate his trap only to find himself stuck in place.

Shadow: You know you can't stop with some trap of this level. I have known you since years, you habits are clear as water to me.

Shadow begins walking away before.

???: I can't have my target running away now.

Shadow turns around to find Sonic sitting slightly away on the corner.

Shadow: Who are you?

Sonic: the one who will capture you*stands up*

Shadow: you can try.

Sonic:flux technique:speed burst

Sonic instantly appears in front of shadow, his borrowed bladed tonfas in hands aimed at shadow's legs.

Shadow:chaos warp

Both sonic and shadow gets teleported away And tails comes back to normal.
