Shut Up Dragon! I Don't Want To Have Children With You Anymore

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: A New Identity

Rossweise was still wearing her casual slip dress, her long silver hair cascading down her back like a galaxy of stars. Though she was a queen, at that moment, she looked just as exhausted as Leon, completely worn out.

Not that Leon planned to show any concern. Instead, he mocked, "With your dragon clan's elite education, it's no wonder kids don't have any fun."

Rossweise merely snorted coldly at his jab. "Our dragon clan's strength comes from such discipline. It's how we raise strong warriors."

"But she's not a warrior; she's just a child."

"I'm not going to debate this with you, Leon. I know how to raise my child. You just focus on playing with her. Leave the rest to me."

Leon rolled his eyes.

After a brief silence, Rossweise spoke again, "My sister's coming tomorrow."

"Your sister?"

"Yeah. She's the queen of the Red Dragon Clan," Rossweise explained. "She'll be discussing some internal dragon matters with me and probably stopping by for a visit. So, tomorrow, you'll need to stay in the room with Luna. You can't go outside, understood?"

Leon chuckled at that, his gaze drifting from Rossweise's back to Luna. Gently stroking her hair, he commented, "Got it. Too embarrassing for the Silver Dragon Queen to show off her human husband, huh?"

"No, in fact, I've told them you're a very suitable dragon husband. You just usually keep your tail hidden because you find it bothersome."

Leon shot upright in bed. "You said WHAT?"

"Shh, Luna's still sleeping," Rossweise reminded him, glancing at the dozing child.

Leon lowered his voice, incredulous. "Are you telling me you told the others I'm a dragon?"

"Of course. I've told everyone we're a happy family: you, me, and our daughter. You, Leon Casmodeous, are a dragon who married into the Silver Dragon Clan but fell into a coma due to illness for the last two years. You've only just woken up."

Rossweise smirked. "Not bad for a made-up story, right?"

"Not bad my ass..."

"What? Not satisfied?"

"Do I even have the right to be dissatisfied?" Leon shot back.

Rossweise snickered. "No, you don't."

Leon huffed, lying back down, his mind racing to process his new identity.

So, he was now a marriage-worthy dragon who found his tail too much of a hassle, married into the Silver Dragon Clan, and had been in a coma for two years.

If he weren't a dragon slayer, he might've complimented Rossweise on her flawless plan.

"Well, since you've already cooked up such a great story, why can't I meet your family?"

"Because it's still a made-up story, and my sister is sharp. She might notice something's off."

Rossweise added, "So, just remember—stay out of sight tomorrow. And if you absolutely have to make an appearance, act the part. Don't go spouting any of that 'dragon slayer's pride' nonsense, got it?"

Leon didn't answer immediately. Instead, his mind was whirring, calculating.

If Rossweise's sister was coming to discuss dragon clan matters, it sounded like some kind of internal review—similar to inspections in human societies.

Leon pursed his lips. "This visit from your sister... it seems pretty important, huh?"

Rossweise's eyes narrowed. "If you even think about causing trouble, I won't hesitate to make you regret it."

"You really think you've been treating me gently so far?" Leon replied sarcastically.

She shot him a glare before turning on her heel and heading for the door.

Before leaving, she said quietly, "Take care of Luna tomorrow. Stay inside. Don't cause any trouble for me."

The door clicked shut behind her, and the sound of her heels faded away.

Leon exhaled a long breath, muttering to himself, "Still such a prideful dragon. Even if the family is fake, she goes all out. What's the point?"

But Leon could guess her answer easily enough: for revenge.

Keeping her defeated enemy as a captive, stripping away his dignity and pride, and even going so far as to give him a fake dragon identity—Rossweise was making sure Leon paid the ultimate price.

Since Leon had disgraced her, Rossweise was determined to return the favor tenfold.

The only catch was, this twisted form of revenge couldn't be displayed openly. It had to be hidden behind the façade of a perfect family.

Indeed, dragon clan vengeance was something beyond human comprehension.

But understanding it or not, Leon wasn't about to let her have it all her way. He had a plan in mind to give her a taste of her own medicine.

It was going to be the ultimate revenge, a social death so humiliating it would haunt Rossweise forever.

"Mm..."

Luna let out a soft murmur beside him, curling into a small ball as her tiny tail wrapped around her waist.

Seeing this, Leon quickly pulled the blanket over her.

She snuggled into the covers, instinctively moving closer to Leon for warmth.

Gripping his shirt in her tiny fists, she mumbled sleepily, "Daddy... Luna loves playing with you... Mommy never plays with me... Next time, let's bring Mommy too, okay~?"

Leon cursed inwardly.

'You don't play with her, Rossweise, but she dreams of you.'

'You heartless dragon.'

"Mommy's a bad dragon. We don't need to bring her along, right?" Leon whispered, trying to sway the little dragon girl to his side.

"Mommy... is... bad...?"

"Mm-hmm, Mommy's a very bad dragon, the worst."

"But... but..."

Half-asleep, Luna wriggled closer, her small body nestling into Leon's arms.

"Then... Daddy should become a bad dragon too~"

Leon groaned inwardly.

Swaying her didn't work, 'Guess I'll have to try again later.'

———

The next morning, Rossweise was dressed in full dragon clan regalia with the help of her maids.

Silver crown, long gown, earrings, necklace, bracelets—every detail was meticulously arranged.

It had taken the maids two hours just to finish her makeup.

In dragon culture, meetings between royals were a serious affair.

First, each dragon king had their own territory to guard. If word of their movements got out, it could lead to an invasion from other species.

Second, dragons had incredibly long lifespans. With thousands of years to live, they had countless opportunities to meet. There was no need to visit each other frequently, as humans did.

It had been over a year since Rossweise last saw her sister, Isa—the Red Dragon Queen—when Luna was born.

Truthfully, Rossweise wasn't looking forward to Isa meeting Leon or Luna.

Isa was far too perceptive. Sooner or later, she'd figure out something wasn't right.

Dragons like Rossweise and Isa didn't meet often, but when they did, Rossweise needed to be prepared.

She couldn't afford to let the truth slip—that she had mated with a human and borne a child.

If that kind of news spread, it would be an explosive scandal in the dragon world, upending everything.

Dragons might enjoy gossip just as much as humans did.

"Phew..."

Rossweise closed her eyes and cleared her mind of unnecessary thoughts.

She stood in front of the full-length mirror, examining her reflection.

She certainly looked more polished than usual.

Not that Rossweise had ever paid much attention to beauty—hers or anyone else's.

That's why she rarely complimented anyone on their looks. In fact, the only one she'd ever praised was her sister, Isa.

As for other dragons—or males, for that matter—she hardly gave them a second glance.

But a sudden memory flashed through her mind.

"That's a ruggedly handsome man. The scars on his face suit him perfectly."

That was what she had said to Leon after defeating him two years ago—the very first words she'd spoken to him.

Leon had been on the brink of death, and Rossweise had assumed he was completely powerless.

And yet...

One wrong move, and a baby was born.

It was ironic. Despite her general indifference to appearances, she'd still ended up complimenting her sworn enemy's looks.

'How ridiculous', Rossweise thought.

"Hmph. Just a victor taunting the defeated."

She mentally brushed the memory aside.

"All done, Your Majesty. You're ready to greet Queen Isa," Head Maid Anna said.

"Good. I'll check on Luna first."

"Understood, Your Majesty."

Rossweise made her way toward Leon and Luna's room.

This time, she knocked before entering.

Moments later, the sound of small, hurried footsteps echoed from inside.

It had to be Luna.

Standing on her tiptoes, Luna barely managed to reach the door handle and twist it open.

"Good morning, Mommy~"

"Good morning, Luna."

"Mommy, you look so pretty today. Daddy, look! Mommy's super pretty."

Leon, sprawled out on the bed, didn't budge when Luna called him to admire Rossweise's appearance.

'Yeah, right.'

'You think I'm gonna get up just to admire you?'
