SCION THE PROTECTOR

The revelation shocks them all, not only the cruelty of a celestial's life cycle but the fact that they had never heard of this Abraxas character, no wonder Lauin wanted to get strong as fast as possible, turns out it was something that threatened his life.

Blue Marvel thinks back on his son, he could do anything for his son. He remembered the birth of Maria, it was a hard time as it always is and he was even willing to traverse the Neutral zone just to ensure her safety, he then realizes that Lauin doesn't have parents.

He doesn't have anyone to ensure his well-being, someone to sacrifice all for his safety, as an infant he needs to find ways for his own survival against an entity that makes Galactus look like a child, there are several celestials out in the universe all extremely powerful.

But not a single one of them was even attempting to help him out, not because they couldn't do it but because they would rather not get on Abraxas' bad side, Blue Marvel didn't want to see a child in danger so he resolved to help him out, he swore to himself that he would do all he can to make sure this child survived.

He turned around to find Spectrum looking at him, apparently, they had the same thoughts in their minds, after their time together it was easy to tell what the other was thinking, an understanding passes between them and Blue Marvel tells Lauin that they will help in whatever way they can,

Binary then asks Lauin whether the damage he is causing himself won't affect his trial of life and death and Lauin says that it will affect him, he said that he doesn't know how long it will take him to recover, maybe he will wake up in time maybe he won't wake up in time.

he says that he knew just how dangerous the path he had chosen was but the alternative was to stay still and do nothing until his death came for him, he says that he would never give up the life he fought so hard to obtain without even fighting for it.

She then tells him that what if he took a different risk instead, she tells him that she doesn't know how her power will react to him, but she is willing to do her best to help him as well, maybe it will help him but even if it doesn't at least his core will still be intact, the point is at least in this way he has a possibility of skipping hibernation.

But Lauin had ready prepared for his hibernation, he made sure his parents were safe and his sister was in the guardianship of Leonid, although Leonid could not stand against Abraxas, he could keep Immortal City safe from damage and Abraxas wouldn't stoop so low to hunt down a couple of mortals.

Still, he wasn't certain what effect this isotope energy would have on him, but that wasn't the reason he had said no, whatever effect it had on him, he was certain he could detach from the energy before it did any permanent damage to him, the main reason he said no was because he didn't know what effect the merge would have on Maria.

She was a beautiful smart young girl with living parents and a bright future ahead of her, there was no way he would risk her future for the possibility of saving his life. Even if there was a slight possibility that it could damage her he wouldn't take it. He didn't know whether her survival ability was strong enough to stave off that level of damage.

But she had gone out of her way to offer aid, her whole family had. If he simply turned her down there and then without a sufficient explanation then they wouldn't take it well even though they were doing this to help him, he found himself wishing he hadn't fixed Starbrand's problem, her energy was sufficient to help him at no risk of damage.

So he turned to Maria and told her that he didn't turn her down because he was afraid of the fusion harming him, he explained to her that even if Isotope energy injured him the injury would be highly negligible and he would recover from it in hours at the most.

The main reason he said no is because he doesn't know what effect the fusion would have on her, he says that he scanned her energy readings and although she has a stable reaction he also sensed the residual effects of Neutronium in her system, although that stuff saved her life it's not good to have long time exposure to it.

He says that nothing in this universe can disperse Neutronium except perhaps Antimatter, however, her father cannot expose Antimatter into her system otherwise it will erode her body to ash. He says that the fusion would risk the balance between Isotope radiation and Neutonium radiation within her body.

He tells her that the outcome may be harmful to her and he isn't sure she can withstand the outcome of that, so he will not save his life at the expense of her life, after hearing his reason Binary thinks twice before she can come up with a response, she turns to her parents and she could see the worry in their eyes but they too could see the determination in her eyes.

Blue Marvel says that if Binary is Damaged they can utilize pure Isotope radiation to stabilize her form which will undo any damage to her body regardless of how severe it may be, Lauin says that their solution would be good except Isotope 8 is unstable outside the Neutral zone,

Blue Marvel says that it was unstable however for some reason a few years ago the structure stabilized, Lauin is visually shocked by this, he says that Isotope 8 like its name suggests is an eight-molecule structure, and for it to be stable all eight molecules must be stable.

He says that he had knowledge of it however from his knowledge the isotope cannot stabilize because its eighth molecule doesn't form in regular reality, Blue Marvel says that it stabilized. Lauin then says that the only way that is possible is if the seventh multiverse ended and reality was restarted.

Isotope 8 can only be stable in the 8th reincarnation of the multiverse, Blue Marvel asks him what he is talking about and Lauin quickly says that it is nothing important, it dawns on him that something must have happened out there, something he didn't detect, the multiverse died and it was reborn but none of them knew of it.

With the new information he was now sure that Binary could survive in fact it also signified that there may be no blowback to his fusion with her, he then tells them that if Isotope 8 stabilize in this universe that means that Binary no longer needs Neutronium to stabilize her Isotopic structure,

He says that it also means that all his previous calculations are void, he says that the calculations were based on the isotope stabilizing at seven molecules, not eight, but if it can stabilize at Eight molecules then everything should be fine.

Everyone is surprised by his change of expression, Spectrum asks him what he isn't telling them and Lauin tells her that there are a lot of things he doesn't tell them because it would do them no good to know of them since them knowing said things will not change a single thing,

She asks him what he means and he says that he is going to explain it in a way she can relate to, he tells her that she is a friend to the Asgardian thunder god Thor who crusades on earth as part of the Avengers and she admits it, he then asks her how much she knows about Thor.

Spectrum says that he claims he is a god of Thunder and so far all he has done proves he isn't wrong, he does have an in-depth knowledge of the functionalities of Lightning and its influence on nature, Lauin simply nods his head in agreement with her.

He then tells her that Thor isn't lying when he says that he is a god, Lauin tells them that as a god Thor has to remind himself every single day to care about everyday mortal affairs, he has to limit his scope of view so he can appear to follow the lives of Mortals.

He tells them that as a god it's just Natural for Thor to neglect the day-to-day affairs and observe humanity from a distance, it would be simple for him to consider the large picture just like the rest of his kind do. There are very many things that go into being a god, so much knowledge he is aware of so many things he does that the rest of the Avengers just don't know of.

He doesn't tell them not because he despises or looks down on them but rather because their knowing about it will neither benefit him nor them, it would be useless to involve them in issues that don't concern them. Same way a scientist doesn't inform nonscientists of the issues he encounters in his research because it doesn't concern them and their knowledge will neither help nor deter the outcome.

Now Spectrum wasn't dumb, in fact, she was extremely intelligent however when it came to the people in the room with her it was clear that she was the least intelligent among them, in fact, Starbrand barely matched up to Binary, Blue Marvel and Scion. Meanwhile, with Starbrand's intelligence, she made Spectrum look dumb.

So after what Lauin said she was still thinking of whether he offended her or simply explained his stance in the form of an apology however the rest of the people in the room didn't seem to react negatively to his statement so she figured either it wasn't offensive or like her, they didn't truly get what he meant.

Binary then says that in short there should be no side effect to Lauin merging with her, and Lauin says that in short yes but there is another issue they need to consider, previously Isotope 8 was extremely powerful because it was too strong to exist in the regular universe. However, if it can finally stabilize does this mean its power has been weakened or the universe's limits have been extended?

Whatever the outcome is, the truth poses a challenge to them at present, before he finishes his deduction Blue Marvel finishes his thought by saying that they aren't certain whether or not Isotope 8 will be powerful enough to supplement his energy to the level he needs it to be.

Lauin simply nods acceptance as this is clearly what he was worried about, Binary says that the only way for them to be certain is to run the experiment, everyone simply agrees and she moves to Lauin. This entire time Lauin was simply dressed in regular human clothes but when Binary approaches him he summons his costume and transforms into Scion without the head helmet.

He takes her hand as he triggers his core and she runs her energy as well, a vortex appears that swallows Binary into his body. Once she is inside his core starts pulsating, the residual Neutronium in her body rushes towards his core where it is absorbed massively until there is nothing left,

Neutronium entering his core acted like Steroids, his core started radiating and pulsating faster, the glowing light inside the core started taking form and finally became a star, at that time his body was filled with light and suddenly the Isotope radiation within his body surged, Binary was fusing with him, her consciousness entered his mind space where she met his consciousness waiting.

His mind-space was more of a control centre where his soul resided and operated his body like a drone, she was shocked seeing him there, he told her that during fusion he detaches his soul from his body completely so the incoming energy can fully rise with his body.

On the outside, his body was glowing with light and finally, he started changing in size, he grew until he was fifteen feet tall and stopped there, the Isotope radiation in his body merged with his celestial energy causing an unexpected reaction his power was elevating at speeds beyond recognition,

In the meantime he had the power to do what he wanted, he raised his hands and suddenly a current ran from him through the floor and went to each corner of the lab. In his mind-space, the entire lab appeared as a hologram and he started making modifications,

It was like he was making changes to a virtual projection but in reality, he was transmuting celestial metal, it took him a few minutes before he was done with the whole lab, he had now made it into his home, and he increased the residences to at least 20 since he no longer needed that much lab space or storage,

He did retain the lab and storage but they were of a more realistic size now, he also included resting quarters, a kitchen and entertainment preferences, in the process he used his advanced state to speed up the change of Ziran and in a few minutes it was done, he installed Ziran into his lab making it the lab's operating system.

It still had celestial-level operating capacity including defence from any sort of intrusion, when he was done with that it was time for the hardest thing he needed to do, he needed to transform the molecules in his surroundings into celestial metal. It wouldn't be easy but it was his only choice.

In the lab his body turned to Blue Marvel and Spectrum and told them to get ready, in his mind-space he produced a holographic version of the lab's power source which was just like the one he had before, a smaller version of the octagon the lab was made from, it's design mirrored the lab so that it would be easy for it to easily supply power to the whole lab by exerting the energy to the needed area of the core.

In the lab, there was a glow as the air started changing and something started taking form out of nowhere, Starbrand realized what was happening, she couldn't help them but she could ensure that their process was much easier, she used her power to transform the molecules in their surroundings into Miraculum,

It was a rare element that was as close to Celestial Metal as any element could get, with that it was easy for Lauin to transmute Miraculum into celestial metal, the problem was the core he was designing didn't look like metal, it looked like a glass container, the entire lab had the appearance of glass before but he had now changed it to look like metal in most places and glass in places that needed to be seen through.

He then turned to Blue Marvel and Spectrum who had already become the Omega entity and told them it was time, they generated a spatial distortion that quickly started spiralling into a tiny vortex then it became a star and then the star transformed into a Nebula which then became a Quasar before it reversed and started condensing, it condensed until it couldn't condense anymore, an entire Quasar shrink down to thr size of a single star, the energy it contained was beyond imagination,

Were it to be set free the whole galaxy would be razed, it condesed until it strted showing signs of a secondary explosion and right when it was meant to go supernova it was placed in Lauin's containment cube.

The sun exploded releasing massive amounts of light but none of the energy or even heat leaked out of the cube, when the light died down the Quasar became a black hole. Lauin integrated the core into the lab and he disconnected himself from the lab, the entire lab dimmed down with only the miniature contained Blackhole radiating light.

Suddenly there was a hum as light spread through the floor going to the ends of the lab, the lab had accepted the newly integrated power source. The lab then lit up as the AI was launched at the same time, Ziran was fully integrated and he appeared before them reporting the status of the lab, he said that the lab was operating at 450% efficiency.

He had overshot his energy requirements by 4.5 times but that was still good for his energy requirements would only rise with time, in his mind-space, he told Binary it was time to end their fusion, she agreed as she departed from the mind-space and Lauin's soul also returned to merge with his body.

On the outside, the vortex returned and Binary was deposited back out. however, the instant she appeared she collapsed to the floor as her body started glowing, it was like she was absorbing energy at a massive rate,

The fusion with a celestial infant had drained her way too much for her to retain a stable human form, it seemed like she almost dissipated into energy, on her body there seemed to be a molecular pattern taking form, it was the pattern of the Isotope except this pattern wasn't just for a single isotope,

It was a pattern of a fusion reaction, it seemed like her transformation wasn't complete this whole time and her fusion with Scion had helped her take the last step, she was now the complete self-sustaining isotope fusion reactor, she turned to her mother and she said that it is gone.

Her parents knew what she was talking about of course, Lauin wasn't the first person to notice the presence of Neutronium in her body had been making things hard for her, she couldn't use her powers to the extreme for fear of triggering it, it was like a sword hanging over her head and now it was gone.

Lauin told them that he took it during their fusion, as it turns out neutronium had steroid-like properties when it interacted with his body so he used it to jumpstart his core, in his core the seed had already transformed into a star, and the power contained in the core had risen from 5 percent to 20 percent.

The energy in his body also rose from 0.5 to 2 percent, the jump was too much, for one he stabilized what humans call cosmic awareness which was simply a basic connection to the universe allowing one to obtain information directly from the universe.

His abilities were increased of course and his power over space was also increased slightly, he could now sense hyperspace although he still couldn't connect to it directly, sensing it was also good as it helped him start absorbing residual energy given off by hyperspace which was more beneficial to him than cosmic radiation.

in addition to this his star had now started emitting power so the power in his body would keep increasing much faster than before, this was because he evolved from the infant phase to the growing phase.
