"The connection of our hearts…" : Speech (Bold for yelling ,Bijuu, or massive creatures)

'The connection of our hearts…' : Thought

In a deep and isolated forest, somewhere in Neverland…

"Ugh…where am I?" Naruto grumbled as he came to his senses, rubbing his head to shake off the strange feeling of disorientation after taking a fully powered erasure blast to the face. While trying to stand up, he noticed that he was in a massive forest of some kind (seriously huge – the trees were titanic monoliths and he looked like a speck of dust in comparison). After he got his bearings back, he saw that he was standing on the stump of a tree that served as a dais of some kind. In the distance, he could see a slow flow of golden ooze trickling down to the stump's leftmost corner, where he saw a woman also coming back to her senses.

"Better go help her out – she looks like she hasn't a clue on how to interact with the world around her." Naruto said, walking over to her while completely unaware of the glow he was emitting as well as his two new appendages that occasionally rustled and twitched on his back as he moved around.

"Hello there young lady! Are you alright – are you hurt anywhere? I thought there was no one around me when I started fighting the 'gods' in Oxford…" Naruto said as he crouched next to the as of yet unknown woman, who was looking at Naruto curiously (she had no idea what he was talking about but he looked worried for her and that meant he was a nice guy!).

" Oh? Hello! I am fine – I don't understand what you mean by all that though…Who are you anyway?" She asked him, standing up to stretch her legs and adjust a crick in her back, her wings fluttering as he did so.

The wings on the woman before him caught Naruto by surprise – he never saw anything like that in Alice's world so the fairy (he had enough experience with these creatures back in his original world) before him had just been born, judging from her non-descript clothing and general lack of a theme.

"Oh, I didn't notice it before! You're a fairy – a newborn by the looks of it! I thought all fairies came into this world through the Pixie Hollow though?" Naruto mused, looking over the girl questioningly.

The girl was understandably confused – the cute boy in front of her was asking all sorts of weird questions. How did he know so much about fairies and where she was 'supposed' to spawn into the world? More importantly, why was he talking like he wasn't a fairy himself (he had the glow and the wings…he was silly she concluded.)?

"Er…you don't have to talk like you're not in the same situation I am – you're a fairy too aren't ya?" She said as Naruto looked at her like she had a screw loose.

"What do you mean girl? I am a human, not a fairy! I would think it was rather obvious – you know with the obvious lack of wings and the small size?" He said, scratching his head as the girl deadpanned at him.

"Okay, first off, stop calling me girl, lady or anything like that – my name's Tinker Bell! Remember that. You ARE a fairy though – no use arguing about that. You must be a newborn like me to not notice the wings on your back and the fact that you are talking to me like we have the same size – wouldn't I be super small to you if you weren't at least at a similar height with me?" She asked him, moving over to poke his chest (inwardly delighted with the thick and well built musculature this not-so-smart hunk of a fairy had).

Understandably, Naruto was quite shocked. Upon a full body inspection though, he could no longer deny it – he was a fairy, and a pretty powerful one too (he had a glow about himself, meaning he could already fly whereas Tinker Bell still didn't seem capable of producing her own pixie dust). This brought up other questions though – how did he travel between worlds without Ella's magic? Could he find his way back to the women and were they alright? These things really worried him but looking at his erstwhile companion (who was busy 'oohing and aahing' over the forest they found themselves in) he knew it would be futile to try and question her.

*Sigh* "Well, it seems as though you're right. I am a fairy – I am sure Flora, Fauna and Merryweather would be laughing their butts off if they could see me now (they were the three Good Fairies who raised him back in Snow's world) - the name's Naruto by the way. I don't suppose you saw anyone besides myself in this place?" Naruto said as Tinker Bell quickly shook her head in the negative, pleased that this foolish fairy before her had stopped asking weird questions. She had been 'born' before him and while she did find herself in awe of the blue nebula of energy he seemed to emerge from, she didn't see anyone else spawn along with them.

"Not really…we're the only fairies in this place. Say, do you want to come with me to Pixie Hollow? Perhaps we might find someone who can help us with your problem there!" She said, excitedly hopping around Naruto, who only chuckled at her exuberance, finding it rather adorable.

"Okay. Let's head to the Pixie Hollow. I don't know the way so I'll follow your lead – my fairy instincts haven't kicked in like yours have yet…" Naruto said as Tink smirked at him before trying to fly, only to fall flat on her bum.

"Aauu…that hurt! Why can't I fly yet? You try it!" Tink said as Naruto helped her to her feet before he tried flying. It was a strange sensation but he had a sneaking suspicion that he was used to controlling additional limbs in a past life (Kurama's energy tails, wink wink). It took a couple of near crashes but he was soon able to fly on his own. Peculiarly, his glow when flying was blue and not the typical gold associated with fairies in flight.

"Oh man! That's so cool…and so unfair! Why do you get to fly right off the bat? I wanna fly too!" Tink said, pouting a little at Naruto's whoops and cheers as he did some aerial maneuvers before landing in front of her with an easy going grin.

"No problem – we'll simply work together! I'll do the flying and you'll enjoy a nice ride while telling me where to go!" He said as he clasped her hand and took her in a princess carry, grinning at her luminescent blush.

'OH MY STARS! This hunk is carrying me like a princess so I don't get left behind! Oh, he's so manly!' She thought as she subconsciously nuzzled into Naruto's broad chest, inhaling his deep forest scent.

"Looks like you're pretty comfortable there so how's about some guidance to the hollow?" Naruto said as Tink squeaked in embarrassment before pointing out a trail of light leading into a secluded grove of maple trees in the distance.

"Follow the dust to the maple grove – there you'll find the Pixie Grove Tree." She said as Naruto nodded and began flying over to the area, his flight unhindered by the extra weight he was lugging around(he had fully accustomed himself to his new fairy status – he just needed to find someone who could tell him how to return to London and from there, Wonderland).

A few minutes later…

Naruto and Tinker Bell had been flying together for a while and shared some thoughts while travelling. Tink was now of the opinion that her companion was a very mysterious but sweet and strong man – he was separated from a group of friends and now wanted to find them again (she didn't know how he could have friends before even being born but hey, she was born from a baby's first laugh and a dandelion seed so who was she to judge?).

Naruto also took measure of the girl with him. As expected of a newborn fairy, she was innocent and impulsive, with nary a mean bone in her body (he knew that fairies were very emotionally driven creatures but amongst each other, the difference wasn't as stark as when he was a human child raised by them). She had some pre-formed instinctual knowledge on the nature of her race but no other knowledge to speak of – a common way for fairies to congregate at a meeting spot after birth.

The two finally entered a fairy settlement after about half an hour of flight and upon landing in the town square, they were directed to the Grove Tree by some helpful citizens, who said that Queen Clarion would set them right as rain when they noticed Naruto's lack of dust and Tink's useless wings.

The path to the Grove Tree was a long and winding path up a flight of stairs – not really a bother for a species capable of flight but certainly an ordeal for a certain flightless newborn fairy.

"Ugh…Naruto, help me up the stairs please? These steps are hell on my feet!" She moaned as Naruto chuckled a little – he was bare foot and only wore a white robe (same as Tink) but his body was a 'little' more experienced with the outdoors.

"Okay, okay, no need to look so sad. I'll be glad to help you out!" He said as he lifted her in a piggyback carry this time as they made their way to the Tree, where the Queen appeared to be waiting for them.

The Queen was a very big fairy, towering over everyone by at least a few inches (quite the feat when the average fairy was only about two inches tall) and had flowing brown hair tied in a chignon. She wore a gown of flowing fairy silk that had a warm golden hue and her eyes were an aqua blue. She had billowing wings that looked like burnished gold and looked every part the ruling monarch she was.

She had recently felt the birth of a warm weather fairy in her domain before sensing another fairy appear but one she couldn't gauge the nature of. As such, she stood in the hollow of the Pixie Dust tree, awaiting the inevitable meeting for the fairies to obtain the dust needed to activate their wings.

She didn't have to wait long as she saw a male fairy carrying a female one on his back chatting all the way to her domain. Upon reaching her, the female quickly rushed over to her and bowed while the male simply looked over to the tree first, smiling nostalgically before turning to regard her with an expression she had never seen before. It spoke of lost love and sweet memories made and forgotten, of the follies of youth and the twilight of life all in one and it made her remember her times with Lord Milori. She then watched him shake himself from his reminiscence before giving her a short bow as well.

"Welcome my dear fairies, to the Pixie Hollow. It here were every fairy comes to live, to discover their own talent and of course, to receive their first batch of Pixie Dust!" Queen Clarion said as she watched the two new fairies look at the tree in awe. She then glided over to Tink and waved her hands over her wings, fixing them while also granting her the power of flight. When she tried to do the same for Naruto though, the dust didn't seem to hold onto his wings and simply slipped off them.

"This is rather strange…the dust doesn't seem to be taking to your body as it should…how ever will you be able to fly then my dear child?" Clarion said as Naruto patted her hand consolingly, a warm jolt passing through the woman at the contact.

"Oh! Don't worry about that! I can fly just fine see?" Naruto said, flying around the Queen to prove his point as Tink decided to join him in the air. The queen was confused but decided to look into the matter later in favor of continuing with the initiation ritual. With a wave of her hands, a set of items appeared before the two fairies.

"Behold my fairies, the last part of the initiation. Here are the implements with which we will decide your fairy affinity. Your talents may vary but remember that no skill is useless and everything has value. Now, please move amongst the artifacts so that I may bestow upon you the raiment of a true fairy!" Queen Clarion said as she gestured to the artifacts with a flourish while Naruto and Tink looked at each other before turning to the Queen with a determined look.

This would be the start of the adventures of two fairies and in the future, the two humans they would bond with as well.

That wraps up chapter 27! In this arc, Naruto is stranded in Neverland as a fairy! He'll have his own human (Tiger Lily) just as Tinker Bell has Peter Pan. The story will start with the first half of the Tinkerbell movie before moving to the Peter Pan adventure and finally finishing up the Tinkerbell movie arc. We need a set up for the fairy life before the Neverland adventure and conclude it (the Tinkerbell movie mentions Wendy at the end after all with the music box the fairy fixes).
