Chapter 66: Insane Talent bonus
They started to make they way to the Arc household in Argus, as Jaune sighed.
Oscar looked at Jaune as he spoke. "So Jauen you are also from Mistrial".
Jaune then spoke Looking at him. "Not really, I just came for the school break, my family actually lives in Vale, one of my sister's lives here, her and her wife stay here so I decided to visit her over the Beacon academy vacation".
Oscar looked at him as he spoke. "So how many of you family is here".
Jaune then spoke looking at him. "Just my one sister that is all".
Qrow whistled. "Huh, with how big I've heard your family is, I was expecting an army of blondes running around."
Jaune sighed. "Yeah, well, most of my sisters stayed back in Vale. Saphron's the only one who moved here."
Oscar nodded. "I think I remember hearing about her. She has a kid, right?"
Jaune smiled. "Yeah, Adrian. He's a little bundle of energy."
As they walked through the streets of Argus, they finally reached a cozy-looking house. Jaune knocked on the door, and after a few moments, it swung open to reveal a tall woman with short blonde hair.
"Jaune!" she greeted with a grin before pulling him into a hug.
Jaune laughed. "Hey, Saphron."
She then turned to look at the two unfamiliar faces behind him. Her eyes landed on Qrow, and she raised an eyebrow. "And you are…?"
Jaune stepped back. "This is my friend Oscar, and that's Qrow, Ruby's uncle. They're here for training."
Saphron nodded before turning to Oscar. "Nice to meet you! I'm Saphron Cotta-Arc." She then smirked. "So, you're Jaune's friend, huh? You must have some patience."
Jaune groaned. "Saphron!"
She chuckled before stepping aside. "Come in! Terra's just finishing lunch, and I'm sure Adrian would love to meet new people."
As they walked inside, Qrow leaned toward Jaune. "I like her already."
The trio entered the house, as Oscar then looked around as he then spotted Adrian playing with cars, as he looked the baby.
Oscar just thought in his mind seeingt the kid. "He is adorable". Oscar then looked at Saphron. "So how old is he".
Saphron went and picked up her son as she spoke. "Recently turned 1 year actually, instead he the cutest".
Oscar just looked as he felt something was insanw about this kid. "Yeah". As then mentally spoke, after that one time with his team he never did. "System show me this kids stats".

Oscar mental screamed as he looked at the 1 yearold with that Skill, as he spoke in his mind even do in outside he was saw normal as possible. "Holy what kind of potential does this kid have to have that of all skill, like not even Yang has that, not even I have that".
Oscar kept his face neutral, but internally, he was still freaking out. A one-year-old with a god-tier archery skill? That wasn't normal.
Qrow, noticing Oscar's weirdly stiff expression, nudged him. "You good, kid? You look like you saw a ghost."
Oscar quickly shook his head. "Y-Yeah, just… surprised. Didn't expect Jaune's nephew to be so, uh, impressive."
Saphron chuckled, bouncing Adrian in her arms. "He is a smart little guy, aren't you?"
Adrian giggled and reached out toward Oscar, waving his tiny hands. Without thinking, Oscar instinctively reached out, and the moment their hands touched—
Ding!
[Host has been recognized by the skill 'Divine Archery'. Skill Synchronization in process…]
Oscar froze as his system processed the notification. "Wait, what?!"
Qrow and Jaune looked at him, confused. "Wait, what what?"
Before Oscar could answer, another notification popped up.
Ding!
[Skill 'Divine Archery' has been partially synchronized. Host has gained the Passive Skill: 'True Aim' (Lv. 1) – Improves projectile accuracy and reduces aiming errors by 10%.]
Oscar's mind went blank. Did I just steal a baby's potential?!
Meanwhile, Adrian just giggled, completely unaware that he might've just jumpstarted Oscar's path to becoming an unparalleled marksman.
Ding!
[No host, you just got you version of the skill, it is still not as powerful as original skill]
Oscar let out a silent sigh of relief. Okay, so I didn't steal it… but I still got something insane out of a handshake with a baby.
Qrow raised an eyebrow at Oscar's reactions. "Kid, you're making weird faces again."
Jaune nodded. "Yeah, dude. What's going on?"
Oscar quickly composed himself and forced a smile. "Uh, nothing. Just thinking about how strong Adrian is gonna be when he grows up."
Saphron laughed. "Right? He's gonna be a natural! Maybe even better than Jaune someday."
Jaune sputtered. "Hey! I may not be a prodigy, but I—"
Oscar tuned out their banter, still processing what had happened. If just touching Adrian was enough to get a skill… What if I actually trained with him when he grows up?
His system was full of surprises, and now, it seemed, so was Adrian Arc.
