After an early morning filled with intimate moments with his girls, Lin Fan set off with Xue Bing and the girl-chair by his side, leaving Ding Xia with the task of delivering his commands to her father, Ding Su. Meanwhile, Yi Xian was entrusted with distributing his pills to the elders of her family, as a token to secure their loyalty, along with powerful techniques to bind them closer.

As Lin Fan walked through the bustling streets of the city, Xue Bing followed by his side, keeping her pace calm and steady. His gaze drifted into the distance as he reflected deeply. He was observing Yi Xian's actions intently; this task was a subtle yet sharp test of her loyalty and intelligence. He wanted to see if she would try to deceive him, plotting behind his back, or if she would prove herself sharp and insightful by staying under his wing without hesitation. He mused to himself, "I'll see if she has the nerve to play games with me, or if she's wise enough to avoid rebellion… Her value may rise significantly if she follows the right path."

Beside him, Xue Bing was lost in thought as she accompanied him. She found herself overwhelmed by a flood of mixed emotions; the pill she had taken bound her to Lin Fan, yet her heart felt an inexplicable elation. She had never expected to be granted a fifth-tier cultivation technique. Such techniques were rare treasures, usually reserved for the leaders of the seven major clans or the mighty in the world of the Sacred Spirit. Although her bond to him was forged by force, she felt a surge of gratitude. Even if she had to relinquish some of her earlier plans to achieve her personal ambitions, her current state seemed to promise her far more than she had ever hoped.

"Despite everything, I can't deny he treats me well. He grants me strength, treating me as an equal to the young lady and Yi Xian, despite my lower standing. I would never have dreamed of standing alongside them, even if my original plans had succeeded," Xue Bing thought with satisfaction, a glimmer of renewed hope in her eyes. "Now, all I need to do is prove my worth to him, and if I manage that, I may secure a greater position… Perhaps, my place beside him will become untouchable."

As they strolled through the streets, both were immersed in their thoughts. Lin Fan's expression remained calm, his eyes gleaming with anticipation, while Xue Bing walked beside him, quietly contemplating her next steps to gain more recognition in his presence.

After a while, they finally arrived at the grand inn where Yu Quan and the demonic twins had taken refuge. Lin Fan strode confidently toward the entrance. Xue Bing remained composed beside him, as the eyes of the onlookers turned their way, curiosity evident on their faces.

"Look, that's Lin Fan. They say he defeated the fourth elder of the Yu family!" whispered one of them, impressed by Lin Fan's reputation as the prodigy who had taken down the Yu family's fourth elder and subdued the demonic twins.

"Yes, and he's recently subdued the twins as well! They say he forced them into submission!" added another in amazement.

"He's bound to become the empire's tenth prodigy. This generation is truly filled with extraordinary talents, ones that were once rare to find," sighed another, comparing Lin Fan to the empire's nine legends.

Notably, a hint of jealousy and repressed envy lingered in some, watching Xue Bing at his side.

Lin Fan noticed all this, his delight growing as his ever-present, arrogant smile widened.

Approaching the attendant in charge of welcoming guests, he gave a straightforward command, "Summon Yu Quan. Now." Recognizing his guest's identity, the attendant quickly obeyed without hesitation. Moments later, Yu Quan appeared with the demonic twins, descending the staircase with respectful bows to Lin Fan.

"Welcome, my lord. I hope you've enjoyed your time these past two days," Yu Quan greeted as he and the twins displayed their allegiance and reverence openly.

"Did you see that? The fourth elder of the Yu family and the demonic twins—all bowing before him! He truly is the terrifying demon they say he is," murmured one onlooker, his fear palpable as he observed the respect shown by three of the empire's powerful figures.

But he immediately fell silent, trembling as his eyes met Li Qing's murderous glare.

"Hehe, that's enough, Li Qing. Isn't it right?" Lin Fan chuckled with a smirk, nodding slowly as Li Qing suppressed his killing intent.

"How about my room, my lord?" Yu Quan suggested, leading Lin Fan and the group toward his quarters. Once inside, Lin Fan took his usual seat on his girl-chair with confidence, setting Xue Bing comfortably on his lap as he produced a few scrolls and handed them to the twins.

"These are fifth-tier cultivation and combat techniques," he said calmly yet with an undeniable authority. "They are among the best within this level, but they require a high level of synergy between the users. For this reason, I believe they'll be ideal for you two if you can meet the requirements."

"Th-thank you so much, my lord!"

The twins accepted the techniques with excitement and gratitude, their expressions clearly displaying their respect and appreciation. 'How generous he is! Fifth-tier techniques! But how does he possess techniques of such high caliber?' Li Qing thought in amazement.

Meanwhile, other thoughts stirred within Li Mo's mind; 'Following Lin Fan doesn't seem too bad after all. Although we were forced into this in a humiliating way, the benefits appear to be far greater than anything we could've imagined on our own.'

After a brief silence, Lin Fan informed them they would soon be heading to the Xiao family. "We need to leave this city soon; I've already exceeded the time planned for returning to the Xiao family, and I don't want to risk its destruction just yet."

"Understood, my lord. We're ready at any time," the twins responded eagerly, still reveling in the joy of the techniques they had received.

"Likewise, my lord," added Yu Quan with calm composure.

"Good. Then we'll leave as soon as I gather the girls," Lin Fan replied with a smile before whispering softly into Xue Bing's ear, "You're coming with me too, aren't you?"

"Of course, my lord, I am your loyal plaything. I must always accompany you to fulfill my duties," Xue Bing replied with pure obedience, adjusting herself to offer Lin Fan a better feeling while seated on his lap.

"Well done. That's my obedient one." He praised her in a soft tone, kissing her cheek tenderly.

Lin Fan then rose, leaving the inn with everyone in tow, heading toward the Ding family compound, where he was set to meet with Ding Xia, her father, and Yi Xian.

Upon arrival, he found Ding Xia, her father, Ding Su, and Yi Xian waiting by the gate. As he approached, Ding Xia and Yi Xian rushed toward him, embracing him with enticing smiles and subtle gestures hinting at their desire for his attention. "My lord, we've missed you."

Lin Fan received their embrace with evident satisfaction, gently patting their heads as if they were his loyal pets. Then, he turned to Yi Xian with a calm but profoundly inquisitive question, "How many elders are there in your family?"

Yi Xian replied swiftly and calmly, "Four elders, my lord."

A faint smile crossed Lin Fan's lips as he scrutinized her carefully. 'Good, I sensed four new bonds before when I attempted to control the insects, so she hasn't tried to deceive me. She truly is obedient.' He then praised her, "Well done, good girl," while continuing to pat her head.

Leaning closer to her ear, he whispered, "You've been diligent. I promise you'll receive a well-deserved reward tonight."

Yi Xian's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she expressed her gratitude, "Thank you, my lord; that's more than I deserve."

Lin Fan then looked toward Ding Su, saying with a clear tone, "Did my orders reach you?"

Ding Su gave a slight bow as he replied, "Yes, my lord. I'll carry them out precisely and without delay."

Lin Fan smiled with a devious look, "I really do feel regret leaving my collection of pets behind like this."

Ding Su quickly offered, "If you wish, I can prepare them to go with you, my lord."

But Lin Fan shook his head. "No, I don't want to carry more people. I've chosen those I need." Then, wrapping his arm around Ding Xia, he drew her close, whispering in a teasing tone, "You've been diligent as well, and you'll receive your reward tonight."

Ding Xia's cheeks flushed as she shyly fidgeted, replying in a soft voice, "Thank you, my lord."

Lin Fan then continued on his way, holding both girls by the waist, as they headed out, his thoughts filled with the pleasures and ever-growing power awaiting him. "Truly, there is no better life than this!"
