" Peter! Peter! You're going to be late for that trip! ". My aunt yelled from the corner of the kitchen. I raised my body from my bed, "Man I'm exhausted from staying up all night studying." I put my glasses on and looked around my room seeing paper and clothes everywhere 'A mess!' I think. Then quickly got ready and made my way out the door, stopping at the kitchen to grab a bagel. " How did you sleep last night? ", Aunt May asked wearing a pink dress and a white apron while cooking. " You've got eye bags, you're not supposed' to get them til you're my age. ". Aunt May laughed as I rolled my eyes before exiting through the door.

" I bet Pete was staying up in his room playing them Video games. ". My uncle Ben scoffed, reading the daily bugle while dipping a bagel in his coffee. " Peter, don't forget to bring your aunt a souvenir from the science exhibit. "yelled Uncle Ben as I left through the front door. I made my way into the bus packed full of students waving to my friend Harry who was drawing dicks on the bus seat. 'That's my favorite idiot!'

Harry scooted over to make room for me on the bus as Flash glared at me from the back of the bus. "P.P. how's it hangin'? ". Flash laughed in my face. I despised Flash. I hated his golden hair, his striking blue eyes, his peak physique, and how dumb he was. " Petey, I've been waiting for this trip for a while. ". Harry exclaimed giddily.

" Then why did you wait til yesterday to get the permission slip signed?", I chuckled at Harry. "Probably because my dad is always too busy with his 'work' " Harry rambled. Ignoring him, I peered off to the houses outside the window, suddenly I could see the rose-colored streaks of a woman entering the bus.

Mary Jane..., Her luscious natural dark red hair, crystal-like eyes, and sweet personality-

" Petey! Petey! PETEY!". Harry yelled to get my attention and interrupt my thoughts. " What? ". I replied annoyed lost in the gaze of MJ's beautiful emerald eyes. I was too distracted by what Harry was saying. I've never felt that way about anyone like I do about MJ.

Harry got fed up with my lovey-dovey eyes staring at Mary Jane so he fired a spitball at me. " Dude! What the hell?!?!", I screamed.

" You've been staring at MJ for five minutes! ". Harry groaned as he shook my body. " Get a grip! She's with Flash! ". I knew MJ was with Flash, But I couldn't help it. She was just too perfect she should be with that moron anyway.

" No phones unless when taking a picture of something you see at the exhibit! Do I make myself clear? ". Mr. Connors yelled at the whole class before entering the science exhibit. " Any questions? ", Connors asked. Harry looked like he was about to burst into laughter, biting his lips after seeing Mr. Connor's new haircut which looked like a reseeding bowl cut. I had to put my hand on my mouth to stop myself from laughing as me and Harry looked at each other. "is there something funny back there!" Mr. Connor asked "No sir" we replied trying not to laugh.

The science exhibit room was filled with thousands of cool statues and models of different molecular structures. Atoms, particles, and even many elements of the periodic table were made into large models and statues. Harry decided to goof off and pretended that one of the molecular structures was his junk causing me to face-palm.

" Behind this glass are many genetically mutated arachnids. ". The guide informed the class. But in the corner of my eye, I could see Mary Jane, drinking boba while on her phone. 'should I go talk to her? fuck it!' I got closer to her, hoping to start a conversation with her.

" Hey. ", I whispered to MJ.

" Oh hi. ", MJ replied, looking somewhere else in the room uninterested.

" Um, did you know that a male spider's penis is located underneath the abdomen? Neat right? ". I smiled at MJ.

MJ stayed silent creating an awkward atmosphere and moved closer to Flash. 'I blew it. I messed up big time!'. I hid behind Harry because of how embarrassed I was. " Hey Petey, do you know why a spider is missing in that cage? ". Harry asked.

'I'm so embarrassed and angry at myself for saying something so weird and crude to MJ!' But in my distraction, I barely could feel the crawling of some sort of creature on my skin. It crawled toward my hand until...

I looked down to see an ugly spider had bitten my hand. My hand began to swell up as I immediately rushed over to the exhibit's bathroom to cool it off. 'It hurts so bad and my hand's blood-red!' I wrapped some paper towels around the area and made my way back to the spider exhibit, crying in pain.

It was time to leave, Harry and I were waiting outside the science exhibit goofing off in the grass near the road. " Petey, what's with your hand? ". Harry asked in concern.

"Uh, I got cut by some glass when I was in the bathroom. "I responded to Harry, 'I wouldn't wanna admit a spider bite got me crying!' Harry stood up as we began to wrestle each other like we've always done since we were in diapers. Suddenly, Harry accidentally pushed me onto the street as a car was about to come.

" Shit! Peter! ". Harry yelled. I could see my life flashing before my eyes as the car came 'am i going to die? I'm still a virgin!'. But out of nowhere, I got a weird feeling in my head before leaping in the air, dodging the car. Harry looked like he had seen a ghost and passed out on the ground.

'My heart is racing because I nearly died and my legs are killing me from the high jump I just did! how am I alive? ' I dragged Harry towards and onto the school bus and put my head back on my seat.

" How was the trip, Peter? ". My uncle asked as I entered the house. " You look terrible! Something happened? ". ignoring him I ran up to my messy room and curled up in my bed. 'I'm about to puke and my hand is throbbing horribly, I don't know what the spider did or what the spider was. But I feel like I'm about to die from the excruciating pain coming from the bite!' while writhing, I slowly started to drift asleep.

" Peter! Wake up! It's time for school! ". My aunt yelled outside my door. I got up, feeling fine the pain from yesterday was nowhere to be found. I felt pretty good. I don't know what happened yesterday but today I felt fine. I ran out the door, feeling more energetic than ever. My aunt and uncle looked surprised seeing me sprint out the door "you seem ready for today" remarked Uncle Ben as I left.

I made my way to the school bus, laying my hand on the door. But for some reason, my hand could not let go of the door 'What the hell is my hands stuck! it wont let go!'. " Kid, there are multiple people behind you, get in! ". The bus driver scolded me. But It wouldn't nudge, my hand was stuck. 'get off!' After enough pulling, my hand came off. But the driver looked confused and pissed.

As I sat next to Harry on the bus, 'There's something about the strange things that has been happening to me since yesterday at the exhibit.' I realized. 'The sensing, the sticking to things, it's all stuff that a spider can do. The spider that bit me at the exhibit must've given me these abilities.' Before I could even fully comprehend my newfound abilities, Flash flicked me in my ear, " P.P I heard you were making moves on MJ yesterday at the exhibit!", Flash grunted at me, " I should kill you right here in your seat, But I'd get expelled! I don't want to see you talking to her! ". My heart was pounding fiercely because of the threat Flash had just made against me and I put my head down the rest of the way towards school 'That guy is seriously an ass'.

'Tonight I want to test out my new powers by going against a professional wrestler.' once home I ask Uncle Ben "Hey can you drop me off at the grocery store for a couple of errands?" "of course, your aunt did mention we need some stuff" he agreed. My uncle dropped me off at the grocery store, but I made my way to the wrestling arena with my homemade superhero suit. " Peter, be careful. Remember the eggs. ". My uncle said to me before driving off. I enter the building, ready to face my opponent 'My opponent is Bonesaw, he's jacked with muscles everywhere on his body.' I was heckled entering the arena because of my frail physique and my crappy costume "Ha look at him! he's so skinny is he even an adult!" the crowd booed. I became fearful for my life when Bonesaw decided to do a cage match. 'This might been a bad idea!'

"You're my opponent? your smaller than my grandma!" He mocked. "and you are as smart as a gorilla, you look like one too!" I retorted. Angered Bonesaw lunged at me, however, my sense activated allowing me to jump over him and grab onto the cage wall. "Your as slow as one too" I quipped. "Get down and fight me!" "make me" but suddenly I then jump off the cage and do a kick mid-air which lands on his head, KO'ing him instantly.

I went over to get my money after the match, But I only got 50 dollars in cash. " The hell? Only 50? ". I asked in confusion.

" You complainin? Go! ". The secretary yelled at me. 'I'm so mad that after defeating a giant brute lien Bonesaw, I received this lousy sum of money?' I sorrowfully made my way out The door 'That scammer! I hope something goes bad for him!' when I heard a bang.

" Stop that guy! ", a police officer yelled as a burglar ran towards the door having robbed the secretary. 'why should I help? That guy scammed me!' I think as I let the guy go. " Kid, why'd you let him go? ", the officer asked me in annoyance. I ignored him and made my way outside. 'Uncle Ben was supposed to be here for me but I can't see signs of him anywhere!'

" Listen, can't we talk this out? ". A familiar voice screamed. I looked towards the voice only to see the same robber who I let escape pointing a gun at my uncle. I ran over to them hoping to stop the robber from killing my uncle.

" Uncle Ben! ". I screamed. The robber looked at me in fright pointing the gun toward me, pulling the trigger, BANG! My senses told me to dodge, but if I did that it would hit Uncle Ben instead!. "AAARGGG" I could feel the blood dripping out of my head as I collapsed onto the ground. " Peter! ". My uncle cried, holding me in his arms. His tears began dripping onto my sweater. It broke me, my life fading, it was so cold, my warmth left my body leaving it weak to the cold of the night. 'it this it am I gonna die? right after gaining power?' I think as my uncle was breaking down into tears. " Peter, don't worry I'm going to get you some he-

Everything went black.

" Get a grip! She's with Flash!". Harry yelled, shaking my body.

" AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! ". I screamed in aganoy, pushing Harry back as I hyperventilated

'What the hell happened?!?! Where am I? Why is it a day? why am I not bleeding Where's the pain and cold? my clothes are different and I'm on a bus?'
