REBORN - MHA: Vongola X

Dante and Calvin were being driven to U.A one early morning.

Suddenly, Dante's phone rang, he was getting a call, the caller id read 'Dad'. Dante stared at it momentarily then smirked mischievously as he accepted the call.

"Hello?"

No words came, what greeted him were angry puffing and huffing on the other side.

"You traitorous little bastard." Insulted an angry male voice.

"Tut, you're still alive?" Dante tutted venomously.

"What? Did you think I would die? And you didn't call to check? You traitorous bastard. You left me for death. You ungratefu-

Dante ended the call cutting his father off mid-sentence.

"I take it yesterday didn't go well?" Calvin asked after seeing what had transpired.

"Nah, it went great, just my Dad freaking out again," Dante said before explaining what happened yesterday to Calvin. "It's not like I can do anything even if I wanted to with my Mum on her guard."

"Hmm." Calvin hummed.

"You know, I still have my sniper rifle. Just say the word and *Pop*." Calvin popped while miming firing a rifle.

"I don't know how I feel about how you easily offered to kill a little kid," Dante stated with a worried side glance.

"Meh. You know, back in the mercenary, 5, 10, 30, 60 it didn't matter, their age just a number- Calvin froze realizing what he could be saying.

"....."

"....."

Dante calmly reached into his pocket for his phone.

*ping* *ping* *ping*

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"110 what's your emergency?"

"Hello, I would like to report a crimina--

Calvin snapped at Dante trying to wrestle the phone away from him.

"Unhand me, you villain." Dante cried out.

"No no. That's not what I meant. I didn't mean it like that. Give me the phone!" Uncharacteristically Calvin cried trying to wrestle the phone away from Dante.

The two finally stopped struggling. "Get off me," Dante said pushing Calvin off him. "Acting like you're some immoral killer. When we both know you aren't."

Hearing Dante's final words, a hint of sadness and deep shame flashed in Calvin's eyes. He did not agree with Dante's judgment of him.

'If only he knew.' He thought.

"Who was that even for? You're group even had a no women or child rule." Dante huffed with fake concern pulling Calvin out of his thoughts.

"I don't even know, I guess it was my attempt at a joke." Calvin forced a smile and shook his head.

"Well, why don't you leave the comedy to me, stick to what you're good at, brooding." He said turning his attention to the city behind the window.

Calvin looked at Dante a pained and remorseful expression surfaced on his face but Calvin pushed it back down, hiding it within.

Shifting his gaze to the window at his side, watching the scenery move past.

The two spent the rest of the ride in silence seemingly enjoying each other's company. Both with a lot on their mind.

At school, nothing special happened. It was like a regular school day in any other school. They came in, met with friends, conversed with each other, went to class, studied, paused for lunch and now they were in class patiently waiting for their next teacher. Although, they were kids, so they were making a little noise.

"Yo, what do we have now?" Asked Kirishima, a teen with spiky red hair.

"I don't know, some course called Hero Basics," answered Sero, a black hair kid with oddly shaped elbows.

"Hero Basics, what's that?"

"I literally just said I don't know."

"Well, I think it's about how to be a hero and stuff." Kirishima enthusiastically explained.

"You guys talking about Hero Basics?" Asked, an approaching blond student with a long and thick tail draped over his shoulder.

"Yeah"

"Oh cool, what do you think it's about?" The blond asked.

"Well, he said it's about how to be a hero and I don't mind as long as it's fun. I really can't stand to sit through one more boring lesson." Sero answered.

"Yeah, I get what you mean." Ojiro agreed.

Off to the side in the corner, Alexander and Calvin sat listening to the buzzing conversations their fellow classmates were having, quietly waiting for the next teacher to arrive.

"What do you think Hero Basics is about?" Dante suddenly asked Calvin.

"I don't know really. It's probably about what to do and what not to do as a hero." He replied after giving it a little thought.

"Yeah, you're probably right. I don't really care what it's about as long as the teacher is chill and quiet like Mr. Aizawa." Dante sighed. "Last thing I need is a loud obnoxious person as teac-"

He stopped himself halfway through his sentence his eyes glimed to the door. And almost right after his eye fell on the door a large bulky man, with golden yellow hair and piercing blue eyes wearing a red and blue outfit with white accents, burst open the door and came running in, declaring.

"I AM HERE!"

"Coming through the door like an ordinary person!"

The students were first surprised at his arrival until they weren't. And realization dawned on them. They began to cheer loudly.

"Oh my god, it's All Might."

"I can't believe I'm seeing him this close. Again"

"Isn't he wearing his silver-age hero costume? Retro."

"Wait is he our teacher."

"Oh my god, we're going be taught by All Might."

While the class was losing their minds, there was one person who was not enjoying all the excitement and noise.

At the corner to the side was Dante groaning at All Might's arrival. He was exactly what he wished against and he had the added debuff of causing his classmates to also get even louder and obnoxious. Though he couldn't blame them for being excited, to them it was the equivalent of seeing someone like Superman or something.

Calvin sat there with a little smile, enjoying Dante's misery.

All Might playfully matched across the room to the podium in front of the class. Striking a 'heroic' pose he addressed the class. " Welcome to the most important course in your journey to become a hero. Think of it as heroing 101." Striking another pose." But first, you seem to be missing something."

Pushing a remote and pointing to the back. "Your hero costumes." Slots from the wall at the back pulled out revealing numbered lockers. "They are designed according to the specifications you sent the school."

The classroom all rejoiced, even the miserable Dante couldn't help but smile hearing this.

Looking at Calvin he asked with anticipation, "You ready?"

Receiving nothing but an eye roll from him.

All Might shouted. "Get suited up and meet me at training ground Beta."

"Yes Sir." Shouted the class.
