From the next day on, Meng Yunhan spent most of his time reading. If not for the cold at the scrap station, Old Father Zhao would take the child to collect scraps at the station.

In no time, it was time for the college entrance exam.

She was afraid of not making the cut and wanted someone else to take the fall with her.

“Hanhan, when will you come back? You haven’t been back to the village to see your mother-in-law and others.” Wang Minfang didn’t want to lose face in front of Meng Yunhan. When Meng Yunhan was teaching, no student caused trouble for her. But after Wang took over, incidents kept occurring, even some parents showed up.

She didn’t want to mention such embarrassing issues.

When the news of the reinstatement of the college entrance exam came, she was overjoyed, finally able to leave the place that had tormented her.

She also found some books to review, but since the books were not complete, she could not do many of the exam questions.

Old Father Zhao looked at Wang Minfang deeply. If he hadn’t seen her as a female comrade and seemed to be familiar with Hanhan, he would have retorted.

Knowing that Hanhan was busy reviewing and preparing for the college entrance exam, one less day of reading would reduce her chances of getting into college.

Meng Yunhan casually replied, “After returning from the army, I’ve been busy reading at home. In a few days, I’ll go back to the village to see them.”
