Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Encounter with the Raikage
Tetsuya infiltrated the Raikage's palace undetected, his eyes scanning every shadow for hidden traps and enemies. His Byakugan allowed him to see through the walls of the palace, while his Sharingan made it impossible for anyone to fool him. The Raikage's voice boomed in the halls as he addressed his council, unaware of the storm that was about to break.
Tetsuya finally stood before his father, the Raikage. The sight of the imposing man—the very figure from his bloodline—was both a shock and a revelation. The Raikage's face flickered with recognition as he saw Tetsuya, but only for a moment. His pride and duty were far too great for him to admit the truth of his son's existence.
"You," the Raikage said, his voice cold as steel. "What are you here for, boy? To seek revenge for the sins of your mother?"
Tetsuya's heart clenched. The truth was clearer than ever before: his father had abandoned him, cast him aside as if he were nothing but a mistake. But the boy who stood before him was no longer a weak, abandoned child. He was a warrior, forged in the fire of battle, raised by one of the most dangerous men in the world.
"I am not here for revenge," Tetsuya said, his voice a steady mixture of anger and pride. "I am here to show you that I am far more than just your son. I am a storm, a force of nature. And you will know my name."
With a burst of lightning, Tetsuya unleashed a devastating Raiton attack that shook the very foundations of the palace, sending shockwaves through the Raikage's chambers.
The Raikage stood firm, his powerful Lightning Release defense blocking the blow. But Tetsuya's eyes, both Sharingan and Byakugan, saw everything—the Raikage's movements, his chakra pathways—and he could read him like an open book.
"Your power is impressive," the Raikage said, his voice laced with grudging respect. "But know this: the lightning that runs through your veins does not make you a man. It is the will to fight, to protect what matters, that defines you."
