Zhou Xu immediately went to find that person while Chu Muxi went downstairs to see Lu Junzhi.

Lu Junzhi was standing by the door, talking with someone. Chu Muxi took a look and saw it was Christie.

Upon hearing footsteps, Lu Junzhi turned and saw Chu Muxi. “Ready?”

Chu Muxi walked over to him with a smile, then turned to Christie. “Christie, where’s Lynn?”

Christie crossed his arms and smiled seductively. “Hey, you asked about Lynn first. You seem quite concerned about him; you might make someone jealous.”

Chu Muxi replied with a smile, “Zhou Xu is upstairs. Should I call him down?”

“…” Christie rubbed his nose. “No, thanks.”

Chu Muxi smiled and turned back to Lu Junzhi. “Shall we go?”

Lu Junzhi looked at him, noting the seriousness behind Chu Muxi’s smile. He nodded. “Alright,” he said, then turned to Christie. “You stay here.”

“You’re getting better at using me now,” Christie said as he turned and headed upstairs. “Remember, I’m just an army doctor.”

Chu Muxi and Lu Junzhi went back to the villa. On the aircraft, Chu Muxi noticed the pilot and exclaimed, “Zhao Lei?!”

Zhao Lei turned and grinned. “Hello again, Young Master Chu.”

“You’re back?” Chu Muxi asked, surprised. Zhao Lei was the first subordinate of Lu Junzhi that Chu Muxi had met. They had been through a lot together on Resource Star and were considered close friends.

“Well, things are almost wrapped up over there, so the boss asked me to return.”

Zhao Lei had been negotiating with the military to secure all the new energy rocks from Resource Star for their Deep Space Fleet. No one else would get a dime.

“Has the issue with Resource Star been resolved?” Chu Muxi asked. After Shen Wu had handed over Resource Star to him, he passed all the relevant information to Lu Junzhi and hadn’t asked much about it since.

Zhao Lei nodded. “Of course, it’s done. That’s our sister-in-law’s dowry, after all!”

“What about the army? The Royal Family and the parliament?”

None of these three parties were favourable.

“They can say whatever they want. They only dare to talk,” Zhao Lei said with a smirk. “As for the Royal Family, at least on the surface, they’re on our side. The council of old men won’t even make a fuss.”

“That’s good to hear.”

Zhao Lei dropped them off at the villa and left directly.

Chu Muxi and Lu Junzhi entered the villa. Chu Muxi first went to the kitchen and brought out two bottles of juice. “Drink?”

Lu Junzhi sat on the sofa and looked at him. “Come here.”

Lu Junzhi took the juice, unscrewed the lid, and handed it back to him. “Sun Hong?” He guessed immediately.

“Yes, he’s the Major General of the First Army. Sun Jiaming placed him in the army,” Chu Muxi repeated what Roy had told him. “What are they planning?”

Lu Junzhi’s voice grew serious. “They’re planning to start a war to force the Royal Family to step down.”
