Quirkless Hero

Midoriya Izuku's daily life at U.A. High School mostly involved being immersed in his workshop, just like the other Support Course students.

Unlike other students' classrooms, the Support Course students were in a machine shop with all kinds of mechanical equipment. They could request any materials they needed from the teacher.

"How about a smoke bomb? You can add sticky web inside to block the view and restrict the enemy's movements at the same time."

Although he didn't get into the Hero Course, the Support Course was more suitable for Midoriya's talents. With all the materials and tools available, he could realize all the design plans he had thought of.

He would visit other classes. Whenever Hero Course Class A had a break, Midoriya would shamelessly run over to find Ojiro and ask about All Might's lessons.

In Hero Course Class A, Midoriya also met two unexpected people. One was the tea-haired girl he saved during the entrance exam, Uraraka Ochako. She also got into Hero Course Class A and felt guilty that Midoriya didn't get into the Hero Course.

Ochako thought it was her fault. If Midoriya hadn't saved her and wasted time, he might have gotten into the Hero Course.

But Midoriya laughed and explained, "Actually, I have no Quirk!"

Uraraka Ochako felt a bit less guilty and started to admire Midoriya Izuku sincerely.

The other person was Bakugo Katsuki.

When he saw Midoriya Izuku, he naturally didn't have a good expression. When he found out Midoriya got into the Support Course, he mocked Midoriya for overestimating himself by trying for the Hero Course.

Midoriya didn't deny it. Failure was failure, and there was no need for excuses. Failure helped him understand his weaknesses and improve.

After Togata Mirio returned to school from his hero internship, he met Midoriya Izuku. He congratulated Midoriya on getting into U.A. High School and shared his experiences of going on missions with All Might.

"Midoriya, you're here?"

Ojiro Mashirao was the first to greet Midoriya. He had performed well in the entrance exam and got into Hero Course Class A, making Midoriya envious.

"Damn it, Deku, why are you here again? Can't you stay in your Support Course!!"

Hero Course Class A's Iida Tenya, who had taken the entrance exam with Midoriya, had a Quirk called "Engine" in his calves. He was the younger brother of the famous turbo hero "Ingenium."

Iida saw with his own eyes how Midoriya defeated the robot mock enemy in the exam and then saved Uraraka Ochako without hesitation. Later, when he learned that Midoriya had no Quirk and achieved this level through training alone, he was very impressed with Midoriya Izuku!!

Uraraka Ochako kindly asked Midoriya. Recently, Midoriya often came to the Hero Course to learn about their studies, treating himself as a Hero Course student.

"No, today I came to ask Iida for advice."

"Me?"

Midoriya Izuku nodded. The only one who could help him with his current problem was Iida Tenya from Hero Course Class A.

In the afternoon at U.A. High School, Midoriya Izuku was on the sports field, and Iida Tenya came because of Midoriya's invitation.

"Because I can't use my equipment well now, I want to ask Iida for tips on high-speed movement."

Pointing to his roller shoes, Midoriya made Iida realize what was going on.

"No problem, leave it to me!"

Iida Tenya's Quirk is "Engine," and Midoriya's roller shoes are very similar. Midoriya often loses balance at high speeds, and Iida is the best person to give advice.

The next day, in the Support Course test field, Midoriya Izuku and Hatsume Mei were ready to test.

"Midoriya-chan, let's start!"

As Hatsume Mei counted down, Midoriya focused. After Iida corrected his mistakes yesterday, he rarely fell while using the roller shoes at high speeds.

"3, 2, 1!"
