Pokemon:Ruin hunter

Mahogany city:

Inside a random restaurant Noah sat at the corner table with a man sitting infront of him.

Noah was currently drinking some coffee with sweet buns and the man infront him did not seems to be hungry as he waited for Noah to finish his food.

Noah swallowed the last piece of bun and finished the coffee at the same time.

He sighed in satisfaction.

These last few days were hard for him.

Even though Ash saved him he was forced to stay at the Pokemon center for 3 days to make sure he wasn't mentally ill.

'I was even forced to help them out.' Noah remembered the tough time he faced at the Pokemon center.

He did a lot of stupid stuff there too.

Like threatening a random typhlosion about some leaks, making a lot of baby pokemon cry,

Beat up a machoke just because the machoke refused to be healed by him and wanted nurse Joy to do it.

That machoke is disgrace to fighting type pokemon.

"So you want me to join your superhero group?" Noah asked the red-haired man infront of him.

"It's called the Pokemon g-men, a detective organization responsible for going against the misuse of Pokemon." The red-haired man said with seriousness.

"So are you willing to join us?" He asked and reached out his arm.

'Why not? You bought me a free meal.' That was enough to win Noah over.

"Sure." Noah gave a quick reply and shook his arm.

The man stood up as his cape fluttered even though no wind was present in the restaurant.

"Then missions would be send to you directly by the Pokemon organisation." He said and left the restaurant.

Noah did not leave and just sat there lost in thought.

'Damn, Lance is intense.' Noah stood up after a few minutes and left the restaurant.

'Should I challenge the gym?' This question went unanswered in his head.

'Lake of rage has nothing to do because I am pretty sure team rocket already destroyed everything.' Noah was a few days late and missed the incident regarding the red gyarados.

But Lance filled him in on the info and Noah felt he didn't miss much.

'I already have a magikarp, so capturing a gyarados isn't that useful.'

This may sound stupid unless you have Noah's magikarp.

He walked through the streets with no destination in his mind.

'What can I even do here? This town is boring as fuck.' Noah decided to leave the town.

'I will leave today itself, I don't want to stay here at this boring place.' Noah arrived at his hotel room.

He wasted no time and started packing everything up and cross checking everything again and again until he was sure he didn't miss anything.

'Finally I can leave this place.' He sighed in relief.

If only he knew that staying here was safer for him.

He bought some ragecandybars and continued walking.

Noah reached the town's edge and ventured into the wilderness.

'Next destination blackthorn city!' Noah was really excited for this one.

His excitement will die out after a few hours.

His Pokemon were kept inside their pokeballs and he walked alone.

'I have already used a repel so wild Pokemon wont attack me.' He jumped over a puddle of water and continued walking.

On the way to blackthorn city:

Noah inhaled deeply and sat down against a tree.

He removed his bag and placed it on his lap.

His bag did not weight much, it only contained his Pokemon, potions, repel, other necessities etc.

His Lugia egg was not with him.

'I hope prof.Elm won't freak out when it hatches.' Noah gave it to prof.Elm to take care of it.

'How am I supposed to carry that in my bag anyway.' It was the size of his torso.

He took out a bottle of water, opened the cap and drank all of it in one sitting.

'God, I am tired...' He unbuttoned some of his lab coat's buttons to feel some relief from the heat.

'I don't know where I am, I haven't seen a Pokemon center or a small town this whole time I was traveling.' Noah did not know if he was lost or not.

Suddenly thunder clouds gathered in the sky as rumbling thunder could be heard.

'Is it going to rain? Thank god.' Noah nowadays was a devout believer of Arceus.

But his mind changed when he saw a familiar figure emerge from the clouds.

'Fuck you Arceus!' This was his last thoughts before being impaled by a string of thunderbolt.

An explosion occured.

The surrounding area around Noah became completely charred as his body somehow stood up.

Half of his body was charred, no hair remained on his head and an eyeball was hanging from his left eye socket.

Noah felt the urge to vomit seeing his eyeball dangling on a thin thread of flesh.

And it fucking hurts.

He did want to move because of the pain but if he didn't move he would be dead.

He knew he could revive but he felt a wierd feeling bubbling inside him forcing him to not die.

'FUCKING HURTS! NO WAY I AM LEAVING OUT OF HERE ALIV-'

A second thunderbolt has hit Noah.

His dangling eyes was not longer there as his whole body was charred and crispy sounds could be heard when he tried to move.

He was soaked in blood but he still remained conscious.

'Just faint already...' Noah was too exhausted to even shout in his head.

He collapsed on the ground and a third thunderbolt hit him.

'I don't want to di..' Noah crawled towards his bag and took out a random pokeball as a last ditch effort.

'Imagine if it was empty... Hehe.' He joked in his mind and released a Pokemon.

The Pokemon was a huge orange fish with a huge scar on it's face.

The moment it was released it immediately sensed the danger and looked towards the sky.

There he saw the previous thunder bird that almost killed him with half of its body obscured by thunder clouds staring down at it in indifference.

Magikarp then looked towards its trainer and seeing Noah's unmoving body he trembled.

He opened his mouth, he wanted to talk this out.

His pride and dignity was already crushed by this bird the previous time.

He may have roamed the seas with no restraint but upon facing a legendary Pokemon like zapdos he was utterly destroyed.

A wierd feeling emerged in his heart the moment he opened his eyes after the encounter with zapdos.

He believed it to be the excitement of meeting a strong opponent but deep down he knew,

He was scared.

Too scared he even had nightmares.

His aggression was reduced and he felt like a failure.

He used the excuse of finding enlightenment as a coping mechanism.

But deep down he knew he was scared.

He froze in fear and flapped towards his trainer.

He hid behind Noah and used him as a shield.

He wanted to survive.

A fourth thunderbolt hit.

Noah flesh scattered across the ground.

His stomach burst open and his intestines spilled.

But magikarp still cowered behind Noah.

He felt deep fear and he closed his eyes.

A fourth one hit.

Fifth one.

Sixth one.

Seventh.

Noah's body took all the damage from the thunderbolt and magikarp suffered some minor injuries.

Magikarp was too scared to care about Noah anymore, he just wanted to live.

But then it felt it's trainer's hand on one of its fins and it it tried to shake it away.

He opened his eyes but froze upon seeing a detached and charred hand which obviously belonged to Noah laying besides him.

His whole body trembled but not from fear.

He thought back to his life.

Roaming the seas as free as one can be.

Getting teamed on by a horde of Pokemon but he still survived.

If someone offended him, he would beat them up.

He lived however he felt like.

During those times he felt amazing and deep pride rooted in his heart.

But now?

He felt pathetic and utterly miserable.

Hiding behind someone who bought him and took care of him even though he was a magikarp.

Letting down his friends who believed him to be the strongest.

How was he going to face that turtle and the chicken?

How will he explain this to the little ones?

So what if he died? Everyone will die, no one was supposed to live forever.

He stopped hiding and jumped out from behind Noah.

A eighth thunderbolt hit but magikarp took it with his whole body.

More thunderbolt were sent towards him in quick succession.

Ninth.

Tenth.

He was bleeding all over his body but he did not faint nor move.

His scales scattered on the ground along with Noah's blood.

It was a gruesome sight.

He took a deep breath, this may or may not be his final attack but he was going to give his all.

He used all his remaining strength as he used splash to jump towards the sky.

To reach the clouds.

His fears were gone, a new feeling sprouted in his heart.

Courage.

The carp jumped over the waterfall known as fear and became a dragon.

White light enveloped him signifying his evolution.

Zapdos sensing the threat did not hold back anymore and used its all.

During mid-evolution and despite the raining thunderbolts, none of them succeeded.

None of them touched Noah ever again.

A huge blue fire shot out towards the zapdos

at an extreme speed.

The electric bird was unable to react.

It hit and the bird was send flying.

The white light subsided as a huge gyarados,

more than thrice the size of a normal one glared towards the zapdos.

Zapdos weakly stood up and tried to attack again but all it managed was some sparks.

Zapdos felt deep fear as gyarados seems to be powering up another attack.

It swallowed it's pride and used what little energy it had left and fled pathetically.

Seeing the bird vanishing in the distance gyarados sighed in relief.

In truth because of the previous attacks he should've been already dead.

He did not even have the energy left to move,

He was trying to scare zapdos away with his strong front.

He then looked towards his trainer.

Noah's charred body was visibly healing as his body twitched because of the electricity.

Seeing Noah would be fine he returned to his pokeball.

Still a huge amount of guilt remained in his heart.

But he promised himself to never ever let Noah get hurt again.

No matter the enemy.

A few hours later.

A woman wearing a purple robe adorned with unown symbols looked at Noah's unconscious and almost healed body and smiled sadistically.

She had short green hair and bright yellow eyes.

"Finally found you!" She squealed as her smile widened.
