Pokemon:Ruin hunter

Chapter 19: CHAPTER-19

Olivine city:

Noah sat on the floor as he looked through the glass panels in the lighthouse.

An ampharos was by his side holding a yarn scissors and using it shave of mareep's wool.

'I wanted to do it by myself.' Noah used his creative mind to transform mareep's wool into all kinds of shapes when he was at his hotel room just few minutes ago.

A sphere.

A cube.

A star.

A pyramid.

Don't ask him how he managed to pull of a star and a pyramid.

However mareep didn't share the same mind as Noah and went to the lighthouse to meet an expert in this field.

His fully evolved version– Ampharos.

'I still got the pictures though.' He scrolled through his pokegear with all kinds of pictures of mareep's fluffy wool.

He can feel mareep's stare and he was knowingly doing this to embarass him further.

Ampharos was the who had deal with all of this as he needed mareep to stay still and Noah's presence wasn't helping it.

Ampharos sighed and patted mareep's head to calm him down.

Meanwhile, Noah put away his pokegear and started to decide his next objective.

'I will challenge the gym after this.' He knows that he said gym battles weren't important but if you thought he would stay true to his words you still got a lot to learn.

'Its a good way to make my Pokemon stronger.'

He reasoned.

'After that I will visit ecruteak city and check out the burned tower.' He believed that this place has some more secrets to uncover.

'And the egg.' He looked down at the egg sitting on his lap.

'An incubator doesn't work on it.' Noah tried to but it was not possible.

Eggs can be hatched in three ways, they are–

Hatched by the parent itself.

Hatched using an incubator.

Or taking it with you and it randomly hatches.

The Lugia egg belonged to the third category.

"Aaamphhaa!" He heard the suprised voice of of ampharos and he turned around.

There he saw ampharos standing startled and a pink sheep standing infront of it with it's two legs and some remaining wool on its head and around its neck.

Mareep evolved into a flaaffy.

'Thats a suprise.' Noah spread out his arms and flaaffy jumped towards him.

He patted its head and looked towards ampharos and said: "Thanks."

A simple thanks.

"Aampha!" But that was enough to make ampharos happy as it tried to give a thumps up.

Keyword being tried.

Olivine gym:

Noah looked at the girl with light brown hair across the stage.

She was wearing a white sundress that reaches her knees.

She spoke with confidence: "I am not going to hold back so give it all you've got."

Noah nodded and took out a pokeball and released turtwig.

Turtwig jumped onto the battle stage and eagerly waiting for it's opponent.

Jasmine smiled confidently and released a round steel Pokemon with horse shoe magnets as it's hands.

It was a magnemite.

"Turtwig razor leaf!" Noah wanted to be the first one to attack.

The small plant sprout on turtwig's head started spinning as a huge amount of razor sharp leaves were released towards magnemite.

However magnemite proved to be too fast for razor leaves as it weaved through it and dodged.

"Thunder wave!" Jasmine took the chance.

Right now magnemite was only a few feets away from turtwig after dodging razor leaf.

"Turtwig absorb!"

Vines flew out from turtwig's shell and held down magnemite who was ready for attacking him.

But before Noah could say any other orders a small electric shock hit turtwig and it stayed on his body.

From time to time electricity would buzz around turtwig's body thus immobilizing him.

"Turtwig razor leaf and don't stop until it faints!"

Turtwig winced from the jolt of electricity but still obeyed his trainer as it's plant sprout started spinning.

Magnemite was tangled by turtwig's absorb and it couldn't escape.

Turtwig gained energy and stamina while also attacking magnemite.

Magnemite struggled but it could not escape and the razor leaves did not allow it.

After a few moments of struggling intensely and getting hit with a huge amount of leaves,

It's eyes rolled back and fell towards the ground.

Magnemite fainted and Noah won the first match.

"You were awesome magnemite." Jasmine had no dejection on her face as she smiled and recalled her fainted pokemon.

"Now steelix!" She released a huge serpentine Pokemon with boulders as its body.

These boulders shined in a metallic lustre seemingly made out of steel.

"Turtwig come back." Noah recalled and turtwig came running into his arms.

He stood up and looked towards the corner and said: "Go lampent."

A ghostly lamp with two shining orbs as it's eyes spun towards the stage from the gym's dark corner.

It entered it and still kept on rotating.

The referee gave the signal and the second match started.

"Lampent will-o-wisp!"

"Steelix sandstorm!"

A small blue ghostly flame shot out towards the steelix but was obstructed by a huge tornado made out of sand.

"Steelix crunch!"

Noah did not realise steelix had already escaped and was right under lampent.

The ground rumbled and steelix dug out from and tried to bite lampent who was floating in the air.

"Lampent flash and spam flame burst!"

As the steelix was about to bite it flinched because of the bright light emitting from lampent and it's mouth was wide open.

Lampent sent out orbs of flames towards it's mouth which bursted upon contact.

Explosions were heard throughout the gym as steelix could not escape and Jasmine's orders were not being heard because of the explosions.

Finally lampent stepped back and started at the downed steelix infront of it.

'That was easy.' Noah thought.

He needed to win the gym quickly so he can set out for ecruteak city today.

Jasmine smiled had already vanished the moment steelix was unable to hear her.

But against all odds steelix rose from the ground.

It's whole body was charred and some parts melted by the flames but it was still conscious.

It was a final struggle before it faints.

It opened it's mouth as a huge amount of blue energy gathered into a ball and shot out towards lampent.

Steelix learned dragon pulse.

But it was all for naught as it completely missed its mark and almost turned Noah's upper half into nothingness.

''THAT WAS TOO CLOSE!' Noah screamed in his mind as he nuetrally looked at the charred floor right besides him.

Meanwhile, on the battle stage steelix fell down and fainted.

Jasmine retrieved steelix but a trace of joy could be seen on her face when she found out steelix's new move.

She approached Noah and said: "Congratulations you have beaten the gym and obtained the mineral badge."

'So we aren't going to talk about the dragon pulse?' Noah wanted compensation but he did not ask for it.

He quietly received the badge and left the gym with his Pokemon without saying a word.

He walked through the busy streets with lampent by his side.

As they were a few meters away from the gym he turned around and asked lampent:"You got it?"

Lampent nodded and opened it's lamp shade and took out four huge stacks of money from it and handed it over to Noah.

'If they don't compensate me I will just take it for myself.' Noah just robbed a gym.

Something team rocket was unable to do even after 20 years.

He did not even check for cameras because his braincells were limited and he completely forgot about it.

He continued his way to Pokemon center and thought back to the carving he saw in the underwater cave.

'That woman should have been Lugia's and Ho-oh's trainer.' He wasn't very sure about this.

'During my stay at ecruteak I checked all historical records and even folklore, myths, children's stories etc.'

'But something like this wasn't mentioned.'

'Or rather they didn't want to.'

Noah knew tampering with history was easy for a town that believes in the old traditions.

'They hid it from the common people or threatened them to never speak about it.'

During that time trainer's association was not established.

They might have wanted to save their reputation.

'But what could ruin their reputation?' Noah wondered.

He was snapped back to reality as he bumped into a person.

The kid fell down on his back and looked up towards the culprit.

The kid winced in pain and said: "Watch where you're going dude."

But Noah did not reply as a small smirk formed on his face as he looked at the fallen trainer infront of him.

'No one other than the fucking Gary Oak.' Noah found his partner for his journey.

How was he so sure Gary would come with him?

He wasn't going to give Gary a choice but a threat.

Threat being telling his grandpa.
