Chapter 11: CHAPTER-11
Azalea town.
Noah jolted awake from his bed while panting heavily and being covered in sweat.
'Where the fuck am I?' He looked around cautiously at the unfamiliar room.
Then suddenly he stopped as a huge amount of memories invaded his head.
'Name's Noah Williams, 17 years old, orphan, an independent archeologist and also a professor candidate.'
'His Pokemon team consists of a combusken, lapras, turtwig, larvesta, golbat, and a lampent.'
Noah stopped in his tracks and started to process his new memories.
But soon his eyes widened as he thought:'Wait, wait, wait! I've done this before.'
'No I started at ruins of alph.'
'I did not tranmigrate just now.'
'But these memories feels so foreign to me but my Instincts are saying it's mine.'
Noah was going through a mental breakdown on top of an identity crisis.
He doesn't remember what happened before he returned to his room.
His most recent memories was of catching lapras.
He was completely unaware of the existence of the slowpoke well and the murals.
Infact just now he took out his notes and cut off the slowpoke well from the places he wants to investigate thinking it isn't worth his time.
'Calm down, maybe it's because of being sleep deprived?.' He wasn't sure about it being the cause but atleast he can use it to cope.
Noah left his hotel room and approached a vending machine at the hallway.
He bought a moomoo milkshake and sat down on a bench.
That's when he noticed the sky was dark and a shiny white moon was on the sky looking down on everything.
He took a huge gulp of the milkshake to calm down his nerves and took out his pokegear to check the time.
'2:30 AM huh? And today is Monday?' Noah immediately returned to his room.
He started searching everywhere for his journal but he was unable to find it.
'I am pretty sure my last memories ended at Friday, that's when lapras showed up.'
'Then what happened in the last three days?'
'My journal is missing and I was having a panic attack right now.' Noah looked for his Pokemon and was suprised to see all of them were in their pokeballs.
Even larvesta.
'That wierd cuz I almost never keep them in the pokeball except lapras because of her size.'
He started to search his pokegear for any photos, videos or anything that can help him find out what exactly happened in the last few days.
'There's nothing, nothing except the recent missed calls from jake.'
He decided to call him back.
'I am pretty sure he is still awake.' He had known Jake for 5 years or something so ofcourse he knew Jake's sleep schedule.
The pokegear only rang twice until it was picked up.
"The fuck you want?" A voice came from the receiver.
"I don't know? Maybe to know why you called me." Noah answered.
"Maybe it's because some motherfucker called me in a creepy dark cave and told me to tell you exactly on Monday midnight between 1:00 to 3:00 AM that you should probably head on your way towards goldenrod for your own safety." Came an annoyed reply with worry hidden inside.
"How do you know it was a cave?" Noah asked suspiciously.
"Because it was a videos call and I could see the background." Jake replied with a bit of annoyance for being doubted.
"I see so I am pretty sure you weren't able to see his face or identify his voice right?" Noah asked.
"Yeah." Jake replied.
"Then I will call you later."
"Wait tell me what happened!" Jake screamed through the phone.
"Identify crisis." Noah stated and ended the call.
Before ending the call he heard his ex-manager cursing out on Jake for waking up all the employees.
He threw his pokegear onto the bed and sat down at a corner in the room.
The lights were turned off and the only source of light was the bright silvery moon.
He sat at the dark corner contemplating about the recent events.
After a while, he got tired and fell asleep.
__________________________________________
Ilex forest.
Noah walked through thick trees and bushes while on a lookout for bug pokemon.
He wore the slowpoke outfit with his crown.
Larvesta was sleeping inside his crown.
Lapras was in her pokeball because she was a big girl.
Lampent and golbat were scouting up in the sky while turtwig happily hopped around.
'I think he likes forests.' Noah then looked at the two chickens by his side.
One was his combusken.
The other one was light brown and held a leek in his hand.
It was a farfetch'd.
And it seems to be complaining about someone to Noah.
"Far, far, far!" It hit the ground with it's leek to show its frustration.
"Damn, that's crazy your trainer actually did that?" Noah asked.
"Far!" The farfetch'd nodded in agreement.
"Damn that's too far-fetched for me to believe." Noah cracked a joke to which no one laughed.
Noah met this Pokemon on his way to goldenrod through ilex forest.
He asked the direction towards the shrine and the farfetch'd decided to tag along until he reached there.
'Hehe, I heard trainers complaining about their Pokemon but this is the exact opposite.'
Their conversation continued until they reached an old wooden shrine in a forest clearing.
The farfetch'd stopped in his tracks.
Noah turned back towards the duck and took out something from his bag.
It was a baton as long as the leek and it shined with a metallic lustre.
It was a steel baton.
Don't ask him where he got that from.
He crouched down and handed the baton over to farfetch'd and said:"Thanks bro, without you it would've taken a long time for me to reach here."
The farfetch'd recieved it and quickly ran away.
'Oh he is shy.' Noah chuckled.
As the farfetch'd was 10 steps away from Noah it turned back and waved at Noah.
"Far!" It seems to be saying goodbye.
Noah waved back and saw the farfetch'd take off at an impressive speed.
'Well I hope he and his trainer will be happy.'
Noah had plans of catching farfetch'd but seeing that it had an owner he decided against it.
'Now onto important matters.' He turned around and approached the shrine.
'The forest protector or better known as celebi.'
He knocked on the shrine three times according to the rumours he heard from the old people living in azalea town.
He then stepped back and waited patiently.
Five minutes passed.
Ten minutes passed.
Half an hour passed.
'Nothing happened.' Other than the screams of some people and the sound of metal breaking bones from a distance.
He took out his pokegear turned around and took a selfie with the shrine.
'I am already here might as well take a picture.' he then stored his pokegear into his pocket and continued his journey.
He failed to see a small green pokemon making faces towards the camera on the background of his photo.
An hour later.
"Are you sure you didn't feed it steroids?" Noah asked in suspicion.
"What's that?" The man he spoke to tilted his head in confusion.
'I mean anyone would ask the same question.'
Noah looked at the behemoth of a fish lying infront of him.
It was a 4 meter long golden fish.
Anyone can identify this Pokemon though the colour is a bit different.
It was a shiny magikarp.
Noah met this magikarp seller in the forest while he was trying to find an exit.
'I don't care if it was painted to look like a shiny, just this size means that it isn't ordinary.'
"How much?" Noah asked the seller.
"Umm..... Uh.. 700$ please." The seller said a price nervously.
Noah took out a stack of cash and handed it over to the seller.
"Deal."
The magikarp was successfully bought.
