Chapter 10: CHAPTER-10
Union cave.
Noah looked at the small ponds of water as he walked on the cold hard floor.
He was wearing a long-sleeved pink t-shirt with a slowpoke face drawn on it and also wore some blue baggy jean with white shoes.
He still hasn't learnt the lesson of white shoes from the last time he wore it.
A slowking crown was on his head as he lifted it to reveal a larvesta sleeping inside.
Lampent and golbat were by his side.
Turtwig was walking on the ground with his golden retriever energy.
Combusken on the other hand walked infront of them with an annoyed expression on his face.
'Is he going through a phase?' Noah felt like a worried mother.
'Anyways after catching the lapras I will head towards slowpoke well and look around.' The legends about slowpokes saving azalea city from a drought made him interested in the well.
Finally he stood before a pond similar to the other ones but this one has a staircase on the other side.
Combusken jumped across the pond while turtwig swam.
Golbat flew over there.
Noah held onto lampent's arms as lampent carried him over.
Larvesta was inside his hat so he did not have to do anything.
Noah landed on the ground and started to pick up his pace.
'I gotta be quick.' He descended into stairs.
Finally he reached the next floor which had another pond and staircase.
He did the same thing he did last time and descended into the next floor.
This time he saw a huge underwater lake.
He could also see some trainers using this as a training ground for their Pokemon.
'After passing this area I can catch the lapras.'
This time he recalled back his Pokemon which could not fly and flew across with lampent and golbat.
When he looked down he saw magikarps and goldeens through the crystal clear water.
'Damn that looks beautiful, I want to take a dive.' But he had an objective that could not wait.
Finally after stopping on the ground for a few times and continuous flying he finally reached the other.
'Fucking hell, I can't move my shoulders.'
He slowly started to move his arms.
He then released his Pokemon and continued his search for lapras.
He walked for a few minutes until he reached another pond.
But this one was special.
At the centre of the pond one could see a blue turtle with a long neck swimming around.
It was a lapras.
It is said to be almost extinct because of poaching.
"Hey!" Noah called out.
The turtle opened it's eyes and looked at the trainer who disturbed her.
"COME HERE!" This Noah shouted as loud as he can.
The lapras's face cringed in pain as it's defence lowered.
But sensing that Noah have no bad intentions it approached him.
This was the first time she had met a human this close and she did not know about the poaching crisis.
Noah seeing that lapras is approaching felt overjoyed:'I think I have some kind of affinity with pokemon.'
It was pure delusion.
The lapras reached Noah as she inspected him and his Pokemon.
Noah took his chances and asked:"Do you wanna leave this cave and see the outside world with me?"
The lapras' interest piqued upon hearing the word 'outside world'.
It thought for a moment and nodded.
She had nothing to do here anyway.
Her family lived on the big lake over the other side but one day they mysteriously disappeared.
And hearing the noises of battling and training made her scared so she fleed to this small pond over here.
She stayed underwater and slept most of the times.
So she did not have much attachment to this place and wanted to live an exciting life.
So she did not think much.
'Hell yeah! Now I can have a HM slave.' Noah forgot the fact that HM's does not exist here.
He took out a pokeball and held it out towards lapras.
She atleast knew what these did from seeing other trainers use their Pokemon.
She lowered her head and touched the pokeball.
A red light shot out and captured her.
The pokeball did not shake.
'Now onto the slowpoke well.' He released lapras and used her to cross the water.
The way back was much easier because of lapras.

Slowpoke well.
Noah looked at the well filled with water and thought:'This was a waste of time.'
He also heard from the town that the recent drought problem was solved during the time he was in the union cave.
'Now how am I supposed to get in?'
He leaned against the well as he thought about the possible ways.
At this moment a slowking with a dumb face slowly emerged from the water.
He made no sound and quickly pulled Noah into the water as they dived down.
'The fuck!?' Noah saw a crown similar to his in the deep dark cave.
Before he could slap that motherfucker across the well they already emerged out of a tunnel.
The slowking threw Noah into the dry land as hundreds of slowkings looked at Noah menacingly.
'Larvesta is going to fry these poor retards.'
He held down his crown tightly so larvesta would not charge out from it.
He looked back and saw the slowking with it's hands behind its back signalling him with its head to follow it.
'Well I am already here so why not?'
Noah started to follow.
He walked through hundreds of slowpokes as they were kneeling down seemingly worshipping something.
He carefully walked through them trying not to step on something.
All his Pokemon except larvesta were in their pokeballs.
'Only turtwig knows how to swim.'
He finally reached their destination as he saw a huge mural.
He looked at carefully and started taking photos with his pokegear.
'This can serve as evidence and I can call for a excavation mission here.'
The mural depicted a huge barren land filled with thousands of slowpokes kneeling down and looking towards the sky.
Huge rainy clouds were in the sky as it rained down bestowing this land with water.
And in the sky a huge silver Pokemon with wings similar to human hands cast it's shadow across the land.
The slowpokes seems to be worshipping that Pokemon.
If one looked carefully they can see a shadowy figure on top of the Pokemon.
'Lugia.'
He saw something written on top of it.
"The promise of water." He read it outloud with widened eyes.
What suprised him wasn't this mural nor the appearance of Lugia.
It also wasn't the shadowy figure.
It was because the text on it was written with unown alphabet.
'I thought I was the only on-.'
Before he could make any speculations his vision darkned.
He could not notice the shadowy figure disappearing from the mural.
The surrounding Pokemon did nothing and Noah's current predicament wasn't because of them.
Just before he lost consciousness he saw the texts wriggling and forming into something else.
At this moment a scene from the past
appeared on him mind.
It spelled-
Ordinary.
