Chapter 64: Red vs Blue: First fight (final)
"DIMAS SILVA! YOUR LIFE WILL END HERE!!!"
The hero wielded Excalibur and sliced the despicable and cruel demon king, Dimas Silva, in half.
"AGHHHHH!!!!"
The demon king Dimas Silva collapsed, with many souls escaping from his body.
"So this is the end... the world is saved!"
"Hero Harume!"
The hero heard his teammate's voice approaching and turned to look.
"Master Jinmorifan! Archer Neetu! Assassin Zack Kaizo! Mage Silver Tek! You're all alive?!"
"Yes! But..."
The group then brought out a body.
"No... no way! Sir Fawzi is dead?!"
"Yes, he fought valiantly to hold off the demon king's army. Thanks to him, we made it here."
"There are others, some survived, some didn't..."
"Tch... we won, but at what cost..."
Somewhere else...
"Pleaseee, let me homeeee..." A SUPER TALL princess said with a sad face.
Bad Short Ending
"WHAT?! WE PLAYED THIS WHOLE TIME JUST TO GET THIS ENDING?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!" Jack slammed the table, kicked the chair, threw his headphones, and cursed.
"Well, at least we finished the game. The demon king Dimas Silva is dead, that's good enough, right?" Rey stretched his neck and body.
"Congrats, senpai! You won!" Rin happily hugged Rey.
"Tch, whatever, I'll just play another game."
"Well, I want to go back to playing my Pokémon game."
"Yeah, me too."
"W-What, you're both really going to abandon me?!"
"Yup, this game sucks anyway. Bye," Rey waved and left with Rin.
"Come on!! Don't leave me here!! Let me watch you guys play!! I want to watch!!" Jack grabbed onto the two of them, shouting like a child.
Rey sighed at his long-time friend's childish behavior.
"Let me check if the game allows you to watch, since it's a game that transfers consciousness."
"Oh, don't worry about it, I'll stream for you," Rin raised her hand.
"Huh? You're a streamer?" Rey looked at Rin in confusion.
"Yeah, a VTuber."
"VTuber? What's that?" Jack and Rey looked at each other, confused.
"...It's when you stream but hide your face with an anime model."
"Anime? What's that?" Jack and Rey asked again.
"..."

Rey and Rin suddenly appeared in pokémon center, looked around, and greeted each other.
"Is Jack watching?"
"Not sure... Oh, he just commented in my chat."
"Oh, that's good then."
Rey then summoned Cyndaquil and Kakuna, noticing that Rin was staring at both of them.
"Looks like you haven't caught any Pokémon yet, right? Let me help."
"Ah, no need..."
"Don't be shy, this is for your own good. Playing a Pokémon game without any Pokémon is a bit odd, isn't it?"
Rey then looked at the map of Cerulean City displayed at the Pokémon Center, noticing a small patch of grass across the bridge.
"Follow me."
"...You really haven't changed at all, always helping me like this."
"Isn't that the responsibility of a senior? Haha."
Boom!
Before they could say much more, a loud noise came from the bridge.
"..." They both looked at each other and went to check it out.
"So many people?!" Rey was surprised to see a large crowd gathered, and he quickly noticed a few players.
"Birdup, Oceanlover, Bigchef!"
The three of them turned around upon hearing their names and saw Rey and Rin approaching.
"Oh! Come here! The battle is about to end!"
"Who's battling who?"
"Red and Blue."
"Sugar daddy?!"
The two immediately squeezed in to watch the battle.
The fight had been going on for 10 minutes, quite a long time.
In real life, people might leave out of boredom, but in the Pokémon world, it's different.
For them, the longer, the better; they enjoy watching an extended battle!
In the fight between Charmander and Wartortle, both were sweating and exhausted.
Char! (I won't lose!)
Wartortle! (If you can!)
The fact that Charmander, an unevolved Pokémon, could hold its own against Wartortle was truly unexpected, especially given the type disadvantage.
That's why this battle was worth watching!
Cyndaquil and Kakuna watched the fight with great interest.
Maybe they could learn something from this battle, who knows, it was exciting!
"RAPID SPIN!"
"..."
Wartortle retreated into its shell and spun at high speed towards Charmander.
Charmander didn't back down, unleashing a dragon-like aura.
Dragon Rush!
As Wartortle struck, its attack was blocked by Charmander's relentless punches and kicks from Dragon Rush, reminding me of Dragon Ball!
"Who's going to win?!" Players and bystanders watched in suspense.
Judging by the state of both Pokémon, everyone knew this would be their final move!
Boom!
An explosion rang out from both attacks.
Both Pokémon fell, lying flat.
"..."
The crowd fell silent, watching the two Pokémon.
Suddenly, both stood up, staring at each other.
"..."
"..."
Then, Charmander collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
"Charmander is unable to battle! Wartortle wins!"
"Trainer Blue is the victor!"
"NOOO!!! MY SUGAR DADDYYYY!!!"
"Wait?! I thought the main character couldn't lose?!"
"NOOO, THIS BREAKS CHARACTER! RED IS SUPPOSED TO BE INVINCIBLE! I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS!!!"
Wartortle stood firm, looking at Charmander and smiling.
Wartortle! (Stand proud, you're strong!)
From the start, Charmander didn't stand much of a chance. Wartortle was already evolved, and Blue's training skill matched Red's (even stronger than Misty).
But the fact that the battle lasted 10 minutes was an impressive feat for Charmander, an unevolved Pokémon.
...I won't say Charmander lost just because of character building; otherwise, it'd be like Ash's Charizard all over again...
Red looked at his defeated Charmander, but he wasn't too upset.
He knew he would lose from the moment Pikachu was taken out.
But that's okay, a loss is just a loss. You can learn from it (although what exactly anyone could learn from this battle is unclear...)
Blue, on the other hand, was stunned, staring at the battlefield.
He knew he had the advantage and that winning was inevitable.
But he was still surprised.
This feeling... it was hard to describe... truly...
Blue snapped back to reality when he saw Red recall Charmander to its Pokéball, so he did the same with Wartortle.
"...Ahem, I won! Looks like you need to go home and train some more, Red!" Blue walked over to Red.
'I wonder if Red's feelings were hurt by what I said? If he goes home feeling bad, I'll be in trouble!'
Classic Tsundere!
Red smiled at Blue's comment and held out his fist.
Seeing this, Blue immediately relaxed because that gesture meant Red was still fine!
"Hmph! Glad to see you're still determined. Here, take this as a reward for your effort!"
The two fist-bumped, and the crowd that had gathered to watch the battle erupted in applause.
Amazing, amazing! I have to ship these two! Time to write a new fanfic about them!!
"I'm jealous of Blue," Misty said, watching Red and Blue fist bump.
"It's okay, I get it," Leaf patted Misty's shoulder.
If Red won, she would steal from Blue. If Blue won, she'd still steal from Blue.
In the end, winning or losing didn't matter much, since Blue would be the only one to suffer anyway... (Blue: I won, but what's cost?)
