Pokémon: Newborn Ash Ketchum – Starting from Hoenn region

A boy stood in front of a mirror, staring at his reflection and the yellow-skinned mouse beside him, surprise flashing in his eyes. He had actually traveled through time and become the protagonist of the Pokémon world—Ash Ketchum. The creature next to him was none other than Pikachu, the so-called "Skin God" by fans.

Yes, he wasn't the original Ash. He was a Pokémon fan who had always admired Ash. After the official announcement that Ash's journey had ended, he had died—electrocuted in a fit of rage. And now, he had somehow transmigrated into this world.

"Alright then! Since I've been given this chance, I'll carve my own path and become a Pokémon Master!" Ash thought to himself. In his previous life, he had been an orphan with nothing to hold him back. But here, he felt nothing but excitement for this new world.

After sorting through his memories, he realized that his predecessor had just finished the Silver Conference and was preparing to leave for the Hoenn region the next day.

"Ash, Pikachu! Come down for dinner!" Delia called from downstairs.

"We got it, Mom! We're coming!"

Ash picked up Pikachu and headed to the dining table, where a red-haired woman and a clown-like Pokémon were waiting. It was none other than his mother and Mr. Mime. Looking at the delicious food spread before him, Ash's appetite surged.

"Pikapi~" Pikachu chirped in agreement.

"Mmm! This is delicious!" Ash's eyes lit up as he took a bite, while Pikachu happily nodded along.

After finishing his meal, Ash got up. "Mom, I'm heading to Professor Oak's lab."

"Alright, be careful on the way!"

"I will, Mom!"

"Pika pika~" Pikachu added cheerfully.

As he walked toward Professor Oak's lab, a sudden voice echoed in his mind.

[Ding! The Pokémon System has been activated!]

Ash froze in his tracks.

"Pika?" Pikachu tilted its head, looking confused.

"It's nothing, Pikachu," Ash reassured him with a smile, continuing on his way.

"Wow, time travel really does come with a golden finger!" Ash thought excitedly. "System, what are your functions?"

"Yeah!"

Professor Oak led him to the backyard.

"Bulbasaur!" A familiar green Pokémon with a plant bulb on its back basked in the sunlight, soaking up energy.

"Good morning, Bulbasaur!"

Suddenly, the ground shook as a stampede of Pokémon rushed toward him. Leading the charge was none other than Bayleef.

"Bay! Bay!" Bayleef immediately nuzzled against Ash.

Ash activated the system scan, checking their strengths.

Snorlax (Late Gym Level, Tera Type: Normal)

Bulbasaur & Heracross (Early Gym Level, Tera Types: Grass & Bug)

Bayleef, Kingler, Tauros Leader, Noctowl (Elite Peak, Tera Types: Grass, Water, Normal, Flying)

"Just Phanpy?"

Bayleef pouted and nuzzled him again.

"Sorry, Bayleef! I promise I'll take you next time. I need to catch new Pokémon in Hoenn!"

Reluctantly, Bayleef agreed.

Ash then used the Pokémon Transfer System to retrieve Charizard.

"Come out, Charizard!"

With a mighty roar, Charizard emerged.

Satisfied, Ash prepared for his next journey.
