Chapter 94: Chapter 94 - An Abandoned Power Plant
Third person POV
Later, while walking with his group, Marshall breathed in the fresh, cool air, feeling relief from the busy life in the city. "Man, the fresh air was so good!" His Luxio then responded positively and seriously.
"Yes, me too as well," replied Rico back positively with agreement. "Our break was over, so we are now back."
Jonathan then nodded in agreement.
A bit later, after the whole morning of walking, all of them stopped off from the road to eat a quick lunch. Their food consisted of sandwiches, some muffins and cupcakes, and some salad packed in plastic containers with lids. All of them had lunch under an Asana tree. Their Pokémon are nearby eating their special food in food bowls. The group is having a good time.
"So," Marshall said to Rico and Jonathan, "does Bato-Bato City have a Pokémon gym?"
"Yes," replied Jonathan back while munching on his salad and bread in his plastic container. "It was a Rock-type one, and the current gym leader is Dante Bulalacao, who was a miner at the mines north of the city."
Rico, who wanted to know about the gym and its gym leader beforehand, was listening to his older brother's information about them.
"Rock-type…" his mind said, "…better to use Water-type as an advantage."
So, Rico said to Jonathan, "Hey, big brother, I'll use Water-type for that."
"Yes, that'll be good," responded Jonathan back, "but Grass-type can be good, too."
"Yeah, but I only have a Water-type so far."
"Oh…that makes sense."
And then, a bit later, while all of them were packing up and cleaning the place, Rico, Jonathan, and Marshall noticed something from a distance: an abandoned power plant. That power plant was abandoned for decades due to unknown circumstances. That power plant consisted of one big main building and 2 side, smaller buildings complete with electric generators that were left to be broken down and collect dust with time.
"Woah, what is that?" Rico asked.
"That was the Buhawi Power Plant!" Jonathan responded back with surprise. "That was still abandoned?"
That power plant was located 8 kilometers south of Bato-Bato City.
"Woah, really?" Marshall was stunned.
