Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Third person POV

 "Are you sure?" Marshall asked with concern and some fear of being judged by them.

Rico then smiled. "Yes, it's okay, my friend. By the way, I am Rico Cruz of Kawayan City…"

He then looked at his Riolu for a bit, "…and this is my partner Riolu."

Riolu then responded with a positive greeting.

 "My name is Jonathan Cruz," Jonathan brightly added, "I am Rico's older brother, and this is Greninja, my partner."

Greninja then responded with seriousness.

Juan, Campillo, and their Pokémon teams then said their introductions of themselves to Marshall and Marc.

 "Wow…nice to meet you all." Marshall was happy with positivity. "My name is Marshall Jamie, and these are my Pokémon, Luxio and Pidove."

His Luxio and Pidove then responded with positive and friendly greetings.

Marc and his Helioptile then said their introductions of themselves to Rico and his group.

 After that, Rico and his group went out into the river district city to explore with Marshall and his Pokémon, as well as his father and his Pokémon. Marshall, who had explored the entirety of Metro Kamias, was happy to give them guidance. Marc also joined as the tour guide for Rico and his group. Later, at 2 o'clock, all of them took a train and went to Marc's relatives' place in a neighborhood between Kaya City and Hari City for a visit. Marc and Marshall's relatives lived almost communally in the urban neighborhood. There all of them are having a good time. Their relatives were delighted and hospitable to Rico and his group. Their homes are classical, and their interiors are filled with things from a few decades ago, making their homes historical by age.

 But then, later, at 3:32 p.m., while traversing the neighborhood's basketball court with Rico, Jonathan, and their Pokémon teams, Marshall asked Rico, "Hey, Rico…did you ever participate in a Pokémon League?"

Rico then looked at him. "Yeah, and I am on a journey to acquire the 8 gym badges for the League. But as of now, I am taking a break after acquiring my third gym badge."

 "Woah, that was fast…how long you have been on a journey?"

Rico then thought for a bit, before replying, "Less than 2 weeks, I guess…"

 "Wow, it is fast! Well, can we have a Pokémon battle here? I really wanted to see your strength with your Pokémon."

All of them stopped walking, and Rico said to him with enthusiastic and confident vigor, "Sure! I'm on!"

 And so, Rico and Marshall are at their positions on the basketball court for a Pokémon. Their Pokémon are Riolu and Luxio. Jonathan and the others are on the sidelines watching their battle.

 "Woah, a Luxio…" Rico commented while looking at Luxio, before pulling out his Pokédex and pointing it at Luxio

His Pokédex then responded, "Luxio, the Spark Pokémon, and the evolved form of Shinx. An Electric-type. Its claws discharge electricity with enough amperage to cause fainting. They live in small groups.

 "Amazing…" Rico commented in amazement, before tucking his Pokédex back in his pants pocket and looking at Riolu. "Alright, Riolu, just do your best."

 His Riolu then nodded with determination.

 "Luxio, let's do this," Marshall said to his Luxio.

His Luxio then responded with serious confidence.

 And so, their Pokémon battle had begun. "Luxio, use Discharge!" Marshall seriously commanded Luxio. Luxio then used Discharge, discharging a flare of electricity to strike Riolu in battle. 

 "Dodge it and use Focus Blast!" Rico commanded Riolu quickly and with positive confidence.

Riolu did so and used Focus, heightening its mental focus and unleashing its power.

Luxio dodged that, and Marshall commented with positive coolness, "Wow, that's some Focus Blast your Riolu had."

 "Yeah, Riolu and I had been working on that move hard and well," Rico positively replied with coolness.

 "Okay then, then can you handle this?" Marshall responded while positively enjoying the battle.

Then at his Luxio. "Use Bite!"

Can the boy from Kawayan City win this Pokémon battle with his new friend?
