Chapter 84: Chapter 84 - A Suspicious Person in Military Uniform
Rico's POV
A bit later, I was watching over my Pokémon team when suddenly, I saw a person, dressed in purple, black, and red military-style uniform complete with a military-style cap, looking and scouring the area. "Wait, what…?" my mind asked, beginning to race for questions and possibilities.
The person's back of his uniform had a double C in white embroidered on it, and that person had Poké Balls on his Pokébelt, indicating that this person is a Pokémon Trainer.
By appearance, that person was a male and had dark green hair and black eyes.
But before I could respond by standing from my seat, that suspicious person left the area and went behind a marble wall.
My curiosity got the better of me, so I stood up and went to that spot.
But when I arrived there, that person was gone, much to my surprise.
"Huh?" my mind said in bewilderment and while being dumbfounded. "But he was just here seconds ago!"
I had no idea who was that person…
Third person POV
Thinking it was impossible for him to search for that person in a military-style uniform, Rico went back to his seat and wrote that account in his journal. But he had no idea that the suspicious he had seen recently was a grunt of a mysterious villainous organization known as Team Cleanse. That villainous organization, which was said to be inspired by the long-disbanded Team Plasma and Team Flare, wanted to take over Philas for their twisted ideology on society.
Later on, Rico and his group spent the whole day exploring Kamias City, Martel City, Kaya City, and Hari City, the historical and former capital city of Philas. Edward used his SUV to give them a ride. They went to a mall in Kaya City, which was located in the southeastern part of Metro Kamias, and explored there, doing some entertainment-related activities and eating out at small-time snack stalls. For lunch, they ate out at a restaurant that serves potato-based dishes. In the afternoon, the group went to the historical city of Hari, which included the historical Pearl Palace, the former residence of Philas' historical emperor, and the Monument of the First Salamangkero, the memorial place of the region's first salamangkero who declared that Absols are predicters and helpers to the people during disasters. These two historical places, alongside the historical and traditionally cultural districts of Hari City, revealed the rich tapestry of Philas' early history, not as a single region, but as a loosed confederation of small independent states.
At the same time, in Galen City, Shion recently won against Camellia, and Camellia gave her the gym badge of her gym as a reward. Although she had received her next gym badge in a short time, Shion was disappointed after hearing from Camellia that Rico and his group had left for Metro Kamias. So, determined to go ahead of him, Shion immediately planned to travel there as soon as possible. At the same time, she caught a wild Bronzor at the beaches of the city, adding it to her small Pokémon team.
