Chapter 24: chapter 24

The rays of the sun filled the Pokemon center, waking up our heroine, despite having slept in a couch, Bea was quite comfortable, she technically slept with Ash after all, she was awake but didn't bothered to open her eyes, Bea wanted the moment to last a little more, she snuggled a bit closer to Ash, however, she the accidentally touched something odd, Bea opened her eyes and found Flannery, who was sleeping with her head on Ash's lap.

"When did she-"

"A few minutes after you two fell asleep." Nurse Joy answered standing next to them. "Here, your Pokemon, you all looked so cute that I didn't want to wake you up."

After receiving her Pokemon, Bea poked Flannery in her forehead to wake her up. "Flannery, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, well." Flannery yawned a little. "I was looking for you guys, then I found you two sleeping and since you were clinging to Ash I thought you were having a sleepover or something, so I rested on Ash too." Flannery then sat Infront of Ash and held his cheeks carefully, trying to not wake him up. "He's just too cute, you know? Seeing him so vulnerable like this almost make me want to-"

Before Flannery could say anything else, Bea took Ash away from her, still trying to let him sleep.

"Hmm..." Bea gave Flannery a cold glare.

"I-It was joke." Flannery assured her. "Chill, dude, you look like a feral beast guarding something."

"It's just...I'd like to have more moments alone with Ash."

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get some." Flannery said.

"Yeah...some." Bea replied with an annoyed tone.

"Bea..." Flannery wanted to ask something but she was a bit scared. "Does it bother you that I travel with you two?"

Bea sighed. "Not at all, Flannery, I like having you around, but I would prefer to have some more moments with Ash just for myself."

"You're making it sound as if he was your property." Flannery said jokingly with a small laugh.

"..." Bea's cold glare intensified.

"I-I mean, there's nothing wrong with being a bit possessive." Flannery stuttered.

"I'm not possessive!" Bea then noticed the way she was holding Ash and put him back in the position he was in the couch. "I just...I just feel like I'm being pushed aside with all this formers companions and Gym Leaders, the last moment Ash and I were alone we were trying to escape a collapsing cave, damn it!"

"Well, I suppose Ash is just excited, he's been meeting with a lot of people he haven't seen in a while." Flannery said. "And no offense, but besides being his current traveling companion, something which I technically I'm right now too, he doesn't have a reason to give you priority, it's not like you're already dating him, are you?"

"...No, I'm not." Bea admitted that Flannery had a point. "The thing is that when I started to travel with Ash, I didn't know he was an important trainer, I didn't know we'll meet so many gir...people like you...still..." Bea softly stroked Ash's hair. "Even if I'm not the most important for him right now, he is the most important to me...I wish I could find a way of telling him how I feel."

"Well, if it makes you feel better, once we're done with the contest I'll get back to Hoenn."

"Are you sure?" Bea asked.

"I am." Flannery nodded. "I'd like to see how the gym is doing, there's still some time before the league."

"Is that so...I'm honestly gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"Fine, I'll sleep a little more." Bea snuggled to Ash again and Flannery went back to his lap, causing Bea to look down at her.

"...sorry, I couldn't resist." Flannery apologized. "Look at that face, it looks so squishy." Flannery then poked Ash's cheek causing him to snore. "Aww, he even snores like a Skitty, he's so adorable!"

"He looks so...peaceful." Bea said with a smile.

-click-

"I'm saving this one for the album."

"Dawn?" Both girls asked.

"Hey there, did you miss me?" Dawn asked looking at the photo on her phone.

"Wait, how did you know we were here?" Bea asked back.

"Oh, Jasmine told me." Dawn answered.

"Now that I think about it." Flannery said. "Where did Jasmine go?"

"I'm here! Oh god! Oh god!" Jasmine exclaimed running from the stairs of the center until she was in front of Ash. "Ash! I need you to wake up!"

"I...Pikachu is that you?" Still in sleep, Ash softly pinched Jasmine's two pigtails and thought that they were Pikachu's ears. "There you are, come here buddy." Ash extended his arms and trapped Jasmine into a hug, leaving her head on his chest.

"I...I-I." Jasmine simply blushed unable to move.

"Ash, wake up!" Bea shouted as her jealous side quickly took over.

"Just five more minutes." An sleepy Ash answered.

"Yeah, five more minutes." Jasmine said as well, lost in bliss. "He's so warm..."

"This one goes to the album too." Dawn took another photo.

"Ash, the center is on fire!" Flannery exclaimed, but Ash didn't wake up.

"Team galactic is back!" Bea shouted as well, but neither could wake him up.

"You're my best friend, Pikachu." Ash said still in dreams while softly stroking Jasmine's hair.

"Hey, I thought I was your best friend!" Dawn shouted but still nothing happened. "Gary said you were a loser!"

"What?!" Ash shouted waking up. "Where is he?! I'm gonna-..." Ash stopped seeing the blank looks of the three girls.

"Same old Ash." Dawn said.

"Hey, what..." Ash suddenly felt like his hand was stroking something and looked down. "Oh, hey, Jasmine."

"H-Hello!" Jasmine exclaimed.

"Why were you trying to wake him up in the first place?" Dawn asked.

"Oh right!" Jasmine tried to get up but Ash was still holding her, causing her to blush even more. "...Ash, could you let me go?"

"O-Of course, sorry about that." Ash opened his arms, setting Jasmine free.

"As I was t-trying to say." Jasmine got up still blushing by the situation, she then looked at Ash again. "I need you to have a battle with me, listen, before the final round of the contest there will be an exhibition battle, they asked me and Cynthia to do it, but Cynthia just called me and said that she wouldn't make it in time, Flint and Volkner won't get anywhere close to a contest, could you please take Cynthia's place?"

"...You convinced me with battle." Ash honestly didn't understand much of what Jasmine said.

"Great! Thank you!" Jasmine gave Ash a quick hug. "It will be a 4v4, I'll see you in Hearthome in an hour, try to put on something formal and use seals too, it's still a contest after all, got it?"

"Got it." Ash assured her

"Great, thanks again." Jasmine then ran outside of the building.

"O...kay, I'm gonna call Prof. Oak to prepare a team, be right back." Ash left the three girls alone and Dawn giggled seeing the opportunity.

''Alright, he's gone, is time to take our chance, girls!''

''Chance for what?" Flannery asked.

"I don't know if Ash told you but while we were traveling together I often acted as a cheerleader for his important battles, we were talking the other day and he said that if he happened to have a battle here in Sinnoh, he'd like me to do it again."

"Well, good for you." Bea rolled her eyes.

"I think you mean good for us." Dawn said.

"How so?" Flannery asked.

"On the way here, my cheerleader instincts tingled so I did a quick stop to buy two cheerleader outfits for you." Dawn searched for something in her back and showed Bea and Flannery two cheerleader outfits, one red, the other orange.

"...When did you even got our sizes?" Flannery asked.

"That's not the important question here." Dawn said. "Are you in?"

''...No.'' Bea said blankly.

''I don't think it's a good idea either." Flannery said. "Doesn't it sounds kinda embarrassing?''

''It doesn't have to." Dawn said. "You simply have to visualize this, you're doing it for Ash and only for Ash.''

"For Ash..." Flannery said under her breath as she blushed.

"Come on, what are you so embarrassed about?" Dawn asked.

"Those skirts are somehow shorter than the one you're already wearing!" Bea exclaimed. "Look Dawn, your heart is the right place but we still won't-''

''Fine, I'm in." Flannery gave in.

''Flannery!'' Bea exclaimed.

''Sorry, Bea, I mean, I see nothing wrong with cheering on Ash." Flannery then took the red cheerleader outfit. "Besides, I participated in a contest once, this can't be much different.''

''Well, that leaves you, Bea, what do you say?'' Dawn offered Bea the remaining orange outfit.

''N-No! I'm not going to-'' Bea was about to start ranting but Dawn stopped her.

''Just think about how much Ash would love to see you using it.'' Dawn kept on insisting.

Bea blushed at the thought. ''...Damn it, stupid heart!" Bea exclaimed. "Your work is to pump blood not to mess with my head!"

"So?" Dawn asked with a teasing look.

"...Fine, give me that thing." Bea took the outfit.

"Alright, I got everything set." Ash walked back to the hall and the girls quickly hid the outfits back in the Dawn's bag. "Ready to go to Hearthome, girls?"

"Of course!" Bea said. "Let's go to soulhouse."

"Hearthome." Ash said.

"What, there's two cities?" Bea asked.

"Hey, what's with those faces?" Ash asked the girls.

"N-nothing." Flannery stuttered.

"Yeah, nothing at all." Bea agreed. "Wait, where's Pikachu?"

"He's with Buneary over there." Dawn pointed at the couch where Pikachu was trying to escape from Buneary's hug.

A little bit later, with Jasmine in Hearthome.

"Howdy!" Whitney said through a three way call. "It's time for the Johto GGs reunion!"

"GGs?" Clair asked.

"Gym Gals!" Whitney explained.

"Uh, sure." Clair rolled her eyes.

"It's nice to see you girls." Jasmine said. "How have you been?"

"Pfft, Lance has been trying to get me a partner lately but none of them are at my level." Clair responded with a smug smile. "I will only marry a man that can best my skills in the battlefield."

"Yeah, whatever barbarian lady." Jasmine said. "What about you, Whitney?"

"Oh, well, the Gym's been quite quiet, I've been thinking about my future, you know? About finding my special someone."

"Well, you turn Jasmine." Clair said. "Tell us, how is Sinnoh?"

"Sinnoh is great as always, although I had this fight with some Team Galactic and I met Ash again."

"You met with Ash?!" Whitney exclaimed.

"He's in Sinnoh?" Clair asked.

"Uh, yeah-"

"At the same time you are? That's suspicious!" Whitney got closer to the screen with a menacing look.

"Well, we both came for the contest, we'll battle for the opening ceremony, actually, there's this dress I want to use, give me a second."

Jasmine left her phone for a moment and then came back wearing a deep blue sleeveless dress that reached her knees, the dress had silver outlines and a silver ribbon in her back wrapped around the waist, Jasmine was also wearing a silver necklace along silver low heel shoes.

"There, what do you think?" Jasmine asked.

"Meh, it's good, but it ain't such a big deal." Clair answered.

"I'm not sure if I should take fashion lessons from someone who uses a cape." Jasmine defended herself. "Why do you and Lance do that, anyway?"

"Because capes are cool!" The Dragon expert assured her. "There's no way someone can look uncool doing this." Clair tried to swing her cape to let it flow in the air but this ended up wrapping around her neck.

"..." Jasmine simply stood silent.

"Anyway, that dress." Clair took off her cape embarrassed and looked at Jasmine. "...do you like Ash?"

"I do." Jasmine admitted without a shadow of doubt in her words.

"Hmm, well, he gave a very nice fight now that I think about it." Clair remembered her encounters with Ash. "And I bet he's grown even stronger."

"He sure has, I bet he'll give me a great battle now!" Jasmine smiled with a faint blush.

"You okay Whitney?" Clair asked seeing Whitney's iris had turned bright red and she hasn't said anything in a while.

"Of course!" Whitney smiled as her eyes turned back to normal. "Ash is such a strong, noble, handsome and smart man! I'd love to see him again!"

"My, when did this turn into an Ash fan club?" Jasmine asked with a giggle. "Even you, Clair-"

"I-It's not like that!" Clair shouted with a blush. "I-I just respect him as a trainer, you two are the infatuated ones, i-it's not like I like him or anything!"

"Wow, you actually said the thing." Jasmine giggled again.

"Hey, Clair!" Lance's voice was heard in the background. "I think we just found the perfect man for you, his name is Ryuki and-"

"Lance! GET OUT OF MY GYM, DAMN IT!" Clair shouted and got up. "Sorry girls, we'll continue this another time." Clair cut the call leaving Whitney and Jasmine alone.

"Well, Clair is gone, it's time we talk face to face." Whitney said with a menacing look.

"Is everything okay, Whitney?" Jasmine asked slightly concerned.

"I bet you're enjoying your time with my deary-deary Ash."

"Well, his company is nice." Jasmine admitted but she was interrupted by a Sudden table smack from Whitney.

"Listen, up Jasmine! He's mine!" Whitney shouted. "You better don't try to make any move on him!"

"Uh, well, Whitney, I didn't know you were like this."

"Besides, why would he go out with you? Your chest is flatter than an Avalugg!"

"Well, that wasn't very kind of you." Jasmine said with an annoyed tone not liking Whitney's attitude, although the chest topic didn't bother her as much as it bothers Bea, it may be necessary to mention that despite being a few years older, Jasmine didn't have much of it, it's not like she was totally flat, she had a very nice B bordelining on C...she was B, okay, just B...fine! She was a B borderlining on A, you happy?! Whitney on the other side was a bit above her...they were big, alright? Bigger than Flannery's, What kind of teenager has a freaking G-cup chest?! That's not normal! Probably a side effect of all that MooMoo milk she drinks, THAT F*CKING COW! It's just not fair for a little girl to have that kind of chest, dammit! ...ok, maybe Jasmine did mind the chest topic...just a little bit.

Jasmine shook those thoughts out of her head and returned to her current issue. "And what if I try to make a move on Ash?"

"If you even try to breath close to him, I swear I'll crush you!" Whitney shouted again. "He's mine!"

"Well, sorry but your Ash is with me for the moment." Jasmine gave her the same aggressive stare and then smiled. "So I'll do whatever I want."

"Sure, as you wish." Whitney sighed still with that menacing look in her eyes. "Take care."

"Uh, thanks?" Jasmine replied confused.

"That's was a threat, you flat pancake!" Whitney shouted and then turned off the call.

"... what's with her?" Jasmine asked herself.

Meanwhile with May.

"The first act will start in a few hours..." May said. "You didn't see him anywhere?"

"No, sorry, May." Caroline answered.

"He must have been busy." Norman added.

"Or he didn't care enough to come." May said.

"Cough cough- drama queen -cough cough" Max said and then received a dope slap from her Mom.

"Well, all that's missing before the first act is the battle between Jasmine and Cynthia to open the ceremony." Norman said. "Shall we go watch it?"

"No, I'll stay here practicing with my Pokemon." May answered.

"We'll stay with you then." Caroline said.

"You know you don't have to."

"Of course we do, we're are family after all."

'...Ash...' May simply thought.

As for Ash and co, they took a blimp to Hearthome and since the two cities were close they made it in less than 10 minutes.

"May..." Ash trailed off once they were infront of the Contest Hall.

"Anything in your mind?" Bea asked him.

"I'm thinking about May, I came to Sinnoh to see her in the first place, but so many things happened, even now, I have to fight with Jasmine before going with May."

"Don't worry, I'm sure May will understand." Bea assured him.

"Yeah, I bet she's gonna jump right into your arms when she sees you." Dawn said.

"Like you did?" Flannery asked.

"I was scared back then, alright?" Dawn said with an embarrassed blush.

"Anyway the first thing I'll do after that battle will be going with May, wish me luck." Ash quickly ran to the hall.

"No need to worry, Ash! We'll be cheering on you!" Dawn waved goodbye until she was alone with the girls. "...you can be sure of it."

"Very well girls, time for the show!" Dawn handed over the uniforms.

"I still think this is a bad idea." Bea sighed.

"Hey, girls." Ash came back and Dawn quickly hid the uniforms.

"Uh, d-did you forgot something, Ash?" Dawn asked trying to not look suspicious.

"Yeah, I just remembered that I don't have any clothes for a contest." Ash said. "I didn't pack anything 'fancy' for my journey."

"The Hearthome fashion shop is just a few streets away." Dawn said. "I'll get you something just right!" Dawn the lead Ash to the shop with Bea and Flannery following them.

"I'll find a great outfit for you, just wait and see." Dawn said as they entered the huge mall that was the fashion shop. "Alright, wait for me in the changing rooms." She said running to the men section.

"Got it." Ash walked along Bea and Flannery and they quickly found the dressing rooms, however, Dawn was already there waiting with the outfit she picked for Ash.

"What took you so long?" She asked with a laugh.

Dawn handed over the clothes to Ash and pushed him into the dressing room, once Ash came out, he looked like a stereotypic prince, leggings, a short cloak and a tunic, all of them in deep blue.

"Ugh, it's like this collar is strangling me." Ash looked himself in a mirror. "I don't know Dawn, this seems like a bit too much."

"Yup." Flannery assured him.

"Definitely." Bea added.

"Hmm...maybe a longer cloak." Dawn said.

"Oh! My turn!" Flannery ran to the store and after a minute she returned, putting Ash back in the dressing room with a new set of clothes that she liked.

Ash came out of the changing room again, this time wearing black shorts with flames on the bottoms and a white sleeveless V-neck shirt that was open on the sides.

"Uh...I'm not sure, Flannery." Ash said.

"What? I think you look pretty hot." Flannery said clinging on Ash's arm.

"T-Thanks, but that wasn't he goal here." Ash then looked at Dawn and Bea. "What do you two think?"

"If mine is too much then this is too little." Dawn said.

"Ash, you look like you take clients." Bea said blankly.

"...Do you?" Flannery asked pulling out a Pokedollar and Dawn slowly took the Hoenn girl away from Ash.

"Flannery, please control those hormones." Dawn said to her and then looked at Bea. "Guess it's your turn."

"I don't know, I'm not an expert in fashion."

"I think you should give it a shot, Bea." Ash said. "You made my Gym outfit after all, didn't you?"

"...Give me a sec." Ash's approbation was all she needed sometimes, Bea kept looking for roughly three minutes until she found something she liked, she went back to Ash and co. and handed over the clothes

After Ash exited the changing room for the third time, his clothes were now similar to that of an Asian monk, this being, a red and yellow shirt and yellow trousers along a short with the design of the skin of an Arcanine.

"I got a sudden urge of going to west." Ash said. "What's with the staff?" Ash pointed at the one that Bea gave him.

"It came with the suit." Bea raised her shoulders. "So, what do you think?"

"Don't misunderstand me, Bea, this is nice, but-"

"But he's going to a contest!" Dawn interrupted and looked at Bea. "You dressed him as if he planned to escape Buddha's hand!"

"And you dressed him as if he planned to take a tea with her stupid Majesty! That's not any better!" Bea defended herself.

"First off, don't insult the majesty because she's a great girl." Dawn poked Bea. "Second, it is better, the point of a contest is to look elegant!"

"Ladies, you're both wrong, mine is clearly better." Flannery said.

"He looked like a striper!" Bea exclaimed.

"And how do you know what a striper looks like?" Flannery asked and Bea stood silent.

"At least my outfit had some class." Dawn kept on the rant.

"Yeah, class." Bea rolled her eyes. "Who do you think you're impressing with that stuff?"

"Um, everyone." Dawn answered. "You two wouldn't understand my high standards."

"I'll show you high standards!" Flannery exclaimed.

The three girls then began to discuss at an unintelligible point, Ash simply stood back and looked at the situation, if anything, he was surprised that it took them so long to begin arguing, Ash could only pray that Bea wouldn't decide to get physical. "Well, Maylene was right, traveling with three girls at the same time is complicated." Ash said to himself. "I hope Victor is doing better than me."

Meanwhile in Galar.

"Alright, everyone, I'll start making the dinner." Victor said after they settled the tents.

"Oh, I want oatcakes!" Gloria said while training with her newly evolved Inteleon.

"Can I have a Pie Mash, please?" Marnie asked.

"Some avocado toasts will do for me." Roxie was writing a new song. "Remember that your heart can say way more things than pum-pum."

"Yeah, that's the thing." Victor said. "I'm running low on ingredients, I can only make one plate for everyone so you'll have to decide."

"WHAT?!" The three girls shouted scaring Victor.

"I-It'll be just for tonight, I'll buy more ingredients tomorrow, but for now we all have to eat the same."

"Well, if it's just for tonight, I'm sure we can all pick one plate, right?" Roxie asked.

"Of course, it shouldn't be that hard to pick just one dinner for everyone." Gloria added.

"Right?" Marnie asked and the three girls looked each other with stares that weren't exactly friendly.

"...so, what is it going to be?" Victor asked.

Before he noticed the three girls were surrounding him and screaming.

"Victor, please, I'm your girlfriend!" Marnie gave him a hug. "Y-You should do what I say!"

"And what's with that? I'm his sister!" Gloria shouted. "I turned away a life full of adventures with Ash to stay with you and this how you reward me?"

"Well, I was the one who sent Piers to your room." Roxie pointed out. "So technically, it's thanks to me that you and Marnie are together so you owe me one."

"You did what?!" Marnie exclaimed.

Roxie, Marnie and Gloria kept arguing and Victor simply sighed. 'Fine, basic curry it'll be.' Victor thought.

Back with Ash, he eventually decided to look for an outfit himself, after finding something he liked, he suited up and then went back with the still ranting girls.

"Hey girls, how about this?" Ash called them and they stopped arguing, the three looked at him, he was wearing a simple black tuxedo with a red rose on his pocket.

"..." The three girls stood silent with a blush.

"It's horrible, right?" Ash asked.

"N-Not at all, you look nice!" Bea simply said.

"Surely stunning." Dawn added.

"I, hmm..." Flannery simply nodded vigorously with a smile.

"Then it's decided, I'll go with this one."

After buying the tuxedo, Dawn gave Ash her seals and capsules so he could use them in the battle, the girls then got ahead of Ash with the excuse that they needed to find good seats, of course, they wanted to put on the cheerleader uniforms without Ash knowing, so once they made it to the hall they went to the changing rooms.

While the girls changed themselves, Flannery put her hair down and took a moment to show Bea how her hair worked, since she asked her that the other day.

"I just brush it up, toss my head back, and voila! It's simplicious." Flannery put her hair back in its usual state.

"I'm pretty sure that simplicious is not a word." Bea said still not understanding.

As for Ash, he entered the hall a few minutes after the girls, he simply looked at the place amazed, seeing it has been remodeled, it felt way bigger now, Ash kept looking around until he spotted a staff member.

"Excuse me, you-" The woman turned around and looked at Ash, who quickly recognized her. "Jupiter?"

"Oh, it's you." Jupiter answered uninterested

"Wait a sec, you're Fantina's sister?" Ash asked remembering what Mars told her and seeing how they were quite similar.

"Yes, I am, now shut up." Jupiter replied annoyed. "What do you want?"

"Well, I came to take Cynthia's place in the exhibition match since she won't make it in time."

"Sure, whatever, go to..." Jupiter looked at her notepad and smiled deviously. "Locker room 6, here's the key."

"Thanks, Jupiter." Ash said as he left with the key.

"Hopefully, she'll accuse him for sexual assault or the like." Jupiter said to herself with a laugh.

"Here it is." Ash quickly found locker room 6 and opened it with the key that Jupiter gave him, much to his surprise, there he found Jasmine in underwear, due to the conversation with Whitney she took off her dress to look at her breasts, she was fondling them softly over her bra, Jasmine then felt a breeze and looked at the door where Ash was simply staring at her, they both froze in their places without saying anything, probably awaiting for the other to say something first.

"..."

"..."

"A-Ash, could you close the door?" That was all Jasmine could stutter, red like a tomato, still maintaining eye contact with Ash, it was worth mentioning that Jasmine wasn't trying to cover herself.

"Sure, I...door..." Ash simply closed the door and waited outside, back inside, Jasmine simply dropped on her knees shivering, trying to regain her senses.

After a while, Jasmine returned to herself and put on the dress again, she walked in circles inside the room for a bit, assuming Ash was still at the door, she then realized there was no point in avoiding him, besides, the time before the battle was running out, Jasmine opened the door and obviously, the first thing she saw was an apologizing Ash.

"J-Jasmine, I'm so sorry!"

"Ash, it's fine, really." She replied in a calm tone, of course, she didn't mind it as much as someone would expect, it was just Ash after all, it had to be an accident, not like the idea of Ash watching her in underwear was an unwelcomed one but it was still too early for that.

"I'm really sorry, they gave me the key for this locker room and...this is what Bea felt back in Turffield, uh?"

"I didn't hear you open the door at all." Jasmine said. "I was distracted thinking about...a call I had with Clair and Whitney." The Steel expert scratched her cheek trying to avoid the topic of said conversation.

"Well, I hope those two are doing great." Ash said.

Meanwhile in Blackthorn.

Clair was simply sitting on her bed, thinking about what Jasmine and Whitney said.

"I don't see what those two like about him so much...I mean, he's a great trainer sure...he's not bad looking neither...I bet he has..." Clair bit her lip. "Hmm, Lance wanted a best suitor, didn't he?"

Meanwhile in Goldenrod.

"I love you so much, Whitney." The girl was playing in her room with an Ash plushie while mimicking his voice. "If only our friends weren't in the way."

Whitney then took a Jasmine plushie. "Yeah, what are you gonna do? Your Ash is with me for the moment."

"Oh, you'll see, Jasmine... you'll see." Whitney squeezed and then tossed the Jasmine plushie away. "Don't worry my dear Ash." Whitney hold the mentioned plushie firmly. "Soon we'll be together, we'll be happily married and we'll have lots of babies! LOTS. OF. BABIES!"

Back in Sinnoh.

"...Well, that settles it, I'm not going to Goldenrod anytime soon." Ash got that bad feeling again and he began to think it was related to Whitney.

'Attention everyone' A voice was heard from the speakers. 'Please take your seats, the opening ceremony will start in five minutes.'

"Five minutes?!" Jasmine exclaimed, they totally lost track of time. "Ash, quick, change yourself, I'll wait outside." Jasmine pushed Ash into the locker room and he came out just a few seconds later on his tuxedo.

"Hey, nice suit." Jasmine praised Ash's black outfit.

"You think?" Ash asked. "Since you only gave me an hour, this was all I could find."

"Yeah, sorry about all that." Jasmine apologized. "Cynthia canceled last moment so there wasn't much I could do."

"It's alright, I'm happy with helping a friend."

"Anyway, I think you look really great."

"Thanks, you dress is really pretty too." Ash then looked at the pendant hanging from Jasmine's necklace. "Wait, is this a Key Stone?" Ash took the pendant in his hand and Jasmine blushed at the sudden approach.

"T-That's right, it's my little surprise for you, I'll make you remember this battle."

"The show is about to begin, everyone!" The announcer voice was heard again.

"Would you come along with me?" Jasmine offered her hand.

"...of course." Ash took her hand and they both went to the field together.

"You know, Ash?" Jasmine called him still walking with their hands together while she leading the way. "I'm glad you liked my dress, your opinion was really important for me."

"Uh, why?" Ash asked once they were at the end of the gate.

"Because I like you." Jasmine answered as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

"... Jasmine, could you say that again?"

Jasmine looked back at Ash with her face totally blushed, holding his hands tighter. "I. Like. You."

"..." Ash simply stood silent and blushed, this was his third confession already and he still couldn't find a proper way of answering it.

"Well, it's time to Fight." Jasmine took the rose from Ash's pocket and put it on her hair. "Hope that doesn't make you lose focus or anything." Jasmine then walked to her side of the battlefield and Ash stood in the gate.

"...wait, wh-" Ash finally reacted but he was interrupted by the speakers. "WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!" Ash asked himself as he ran to the battlefield.

''Welcome, to all the contest fans!" The announcer started the presentation. "As you already know! We'll have the final round show between our current champion Lisia and her challenger May! But before this great final takes place, we'll have a nice opening battle between Jasmine and Cynthia to get the crowd fire up! How does that sound?''

The whole stadium roared.

"That's great to hear! But, first things first, Cynthia won't make it in time." The crowd then started to boo on the announcer. "Calm down, fellas, calm down! Another person will fill in for Cynthia and he's just as good."

''On one side, the Johto contest champion, the Olivine Gym Leader, the Steel-clad defense girl, Jasmine!" The aforementioned waved at the audience and they all cheered. "And on the other side! The Alola Pokemon League Champion, he's Ash Ketchum!'' Ash did the same until a voice called him from the stands.

''Hey, Ash! Up here!'' Dawn called from the front row wearing her cheerleader outfit along Piplup, Buneary and Pachirisu who were wearing their outfits as well.

''Dawn? I...I actually didn't expect you to wear it.'' Ash looked at her embarrassed.

''And I'm not alone, Mister!'' Dawn said as if she was expecting something, but nothing happened. ''I said, I'm not alone, Mister.'' Dawn called again and Flannery and Bea appeared behind her wearing cheerleaders outfit too, Flannery's Lampet also wanted to join in and had some pom-poms.

''I'll admit this a little more embarrassing than I thought.'' Flannery said.

''Why am I even doing this?'' Bea asked adjusting her skirt.

''You're doing this for him.'' Dawn pointed at a blushing Ash.

''G-Give us your best!'' Flannery shouted raising her pom-poms.

''What she said.'' Bea pointed at Flannery trying to hide her blush with one of her pom-poms.

"I, uh, sure...I...I'll...I'm gonna Fight now." That was all Ash could say.

"That was great girls!" Dawn congratulated them. "But looking pretty is only half of the job, let's show them why they call us cheerleaders!"

Dawn then started to do her classic cheerleader dance with her Pokemon doing the same.

"Listen up! Is not so tough! I'll tell you how it's done!" The Sinnoh Native started to sing.

"Dawn, stop it, I'm not going to sing." Bea interrupted the vibe.

"Fine, just follow my moves then." Dawn tried to make the moves as simple as possible so that Bea and Flannery could follow her, Flannery quickly caught up while Bea struggled for most of it.

Back in the battlefield, the referee had just entered and started to explain the rules.

"This will be a 4 on 4 battle with Switches allowed, no special conditions are applied, did I make myself clear?"

Ash and Jasmine nodded.

"Trainers, release your first Pokemon!"

"Noctowl, I choose you!" Noctowl came out of the Pole Ball with silver star seals that matched his natural golden stars due to being shiny.

"I'll give you a sky battle then!" Jasmine said. "Skarmory, shine on!" The metal bird came out of her ball with some tornado-shaped seals.

"If both trainers are ready then the battle begins now!"

"Let's begin with Air Cutter!" Skarmory flapped her wings shooting several blue blades of wind at Noctowl.

"Let's go up!" Ash said and Noctowl took flight avoiding the blades.

"Air Cutter again!" Skarmory followed Noctowl's movements trying to hit him with the air cutters.

"Air Slash!" Ash commanded Noctowl and the moves collided with each other, Noctowl then used Air Slash again to hit Skarmory, but she resisted the move thanks to her Steel Typing.

"Skarmory, Steel Wing!" Skarmory's wings glowed white and she flew onwards Noctowl.

"Use Moonblast!" A moon figure appeared over Noctowl's horns, the figure the turned into a pink orb that was shoot at Skarmory, but this didn't do much damage, Skarmory kept going and slammed the Steel Wing onto Noctowl.

"Extrasensory!" Noctowl's eyes shone with a bright golden light and he shot a rainbow-colored beam from his horns, still being a non-effective move, Skarmory didn't feel it at all.

"Why is he only using ineffective moves?" Jasmine asked herself.

"Air Slash again!" Ash ordered while Jasmine still didn't understand.

"Skarmory, Rock Slide!" Multiple rocks appeared behind Skarmory, he then flew forward and the rocks shoot themselves at Noctowl.

"Deflect them with Extrasensory!" The rainbow beam stopped the flight of the rocks and then tossed them at the ground.

"Skarmory, use Twister!" Skarmory spun around creating a purple whirlwind. "Alright, now get close to the rocks!" Skarmory guided the tornado from inside, recollecting the rocks created by the Rock Slide causing them to orbit around it.

"Thank you for reminding me of that awful movie." The announcer said looking at the stonado.

"Now give them a Gatling!" Jasmine ordered and the funnel of the tornado pointed at Noctowl and started to shoot the rocks at mach speed.

"Destroy the rocks with Moonblast!"

Noctowl quickly fired the orbs stopping all the rocks before they could hit him, however, the winds of the Twister intensified and tried to drag Noctowl but he stayed on ground with his claws.

"Noctowl, enter the twister, it's the best way to stop Skarmory!"

Noctowl let go and flew inside the Twister, where Skarmory used Rock Slide against him again, Noctowl countered the same way he did before, using Moonblast to turn them into pebbles, once Noctowl was close enough, he used Extrasensory to knock Skarmory down to the ground, dissolving the tornado in the process.

"Use Steel Wing!" Skarmory got up and charged onto Noctowl again.

"Air Slash!" Noctowl shoot several wind blades but Skarmory wasn't fazed at all, Noctowl then managed to dodge last moment.

"Keep going, Skarmory!" Jasmine said and Skarmory repeated the move.

"Moonblast!"

Skarmory simpled slashed the moves with his wings and kept rushing against Noctowl.

"Here we go, use Heat Wave!" Ash shouted once Skarmory was close enough.

"The what?!" Jasmine exclaimed.

Noctowl quickly flapped his wings expelling a hot orange wind, Skarmory tried to fight it but she was quickly overthrown and knocked out cleanly.

"Skarmory is unable to battle! Noctowl is the winner!"

"B-B-But...how did you?" Jasmine said. "You only landed a single Heat Wave! All the rest was chip damage."

"Not exactly." Ash said with a smile.

"I..." Jasmine wondered for a moment. "A Noctowl...Tinted Lens, isn't it?"

"You got that right." Ash said. "With Tinted Lens any not-very-effective will have its power doubled, so Skarmory was taking a lot more damage than you thought instead of resisting those hits."

"I see, you were using ineffective moves to make me get the guard down so I thought Noctowl didn't have coverage and then when you went for Heat Wave, Skarmory had already took too much damage."

"Pretty much." Ash admitted.

"Way to go, Ash!" Dawn cheered on.

"Uh, yeah that was...w-what am I supposed to say? Flannery asked.

"Kick her ass!" Bea shouted.

"You've outsmarted me." Jasmine admitted, embarrassed by the fact that she didn't notice sooner. "But that trick won't work twice." Jasmine recalled Skarmory and used another Poke Ball. "Klinklang, Shine on!" The seals on the gear Pokemon sent out thunder effects.

"She already found out so there's no point in hiding." Ash said. "Let's go for Heat Wave!" The Fire move hit Klinklang directly causing it to back down.

"We'll need more speed, let's begin with Shift Gear!" Jasmine ordered and Klinklang quickly rotated its gears, boosting its attack and speed.

"Heat Wave!" Noctowl attacked again but with its boosted speed Klinklang now managed to avoid the hot wind.

"Now Gear Grind!" Klinklang separated itself and the 5 gears that formed him were all shoot at Noctowl hitting right in the spot and leaving the regional bird on the ground.

"Gear Grind again!" This time, the gears traveled horizontally across the surface of the ground hitting Noctowl like saws, after doing that, Klinklang assembled itself back together.

"Don't give him a rest, Zap Cannon!" Klinklang separated itself again and aligned its gears one infront of the other, it then rotated again shooting a huge electric beam that knocked Noctowl out.

"Noctowl is unable to battle! Klinklang is the winner!"

"And with just three moves Jasmine quickly leveled the fight again!" The announcer said. "Never underestimate Shift Gear people!"

"Alright then." Ash did his switch. "Buizel, I choose you!" The Water type appeared in the battlefield, arms crossed as his seal of droplets appeared as well.

"Buizel! Over here!" Dawn called him and the Water Type looked at her. "It's nice to see you, give them your best!"

"Bui!" The weasel waved at her with a smile.

"Zap cannon!"

"Dodge with Aqua Jet!" Buizel did as told and flew around the electric beam.

"Use Volt Switch!" Klinklang rotated its gears again, this time shooting a yellow electric orb, but Buizel kept into the Aqua Jet and dodged, he then bashed Klinklang with the move.

"Fine, Gear Grind!"

"Counter Shield!"

The 5 gears tried to surround Buizel, but he spun in the ground while using Aqua Jet blocking them, the gears kept trying to get closer but Buizel kept them away, one of the gears, the one with the red core, finally found an opening and got closer to Buizel.

"Use Ice Punch on that one!" Buizel stopped the Counter Shield flat and landed the ice move on that one gear, getting lucky and leaving it frozen, the gear then fell to the ground inside a chunk of ice and all the other gears stood paralyzed in the air.

"W-What's happening?" Jasmine asked.

"Just like a clock..." Ash said. "If one part fails..."

"Then all the others do too." Jasmine completed the phrase.

"Alright, Buizel, use Sonic Boom in the other Gears, let's try to deal as much damage as we can, but keep your distance."

Buizel's two tails glowed white, he then flipped them around, sending a large white sonic blade at the gears that were still in the air, he repeated the move several times, however, without them noticing, every hit it landed broke the ice on the core gear a little, the frozen gear eventually freed itself, the others responded the aggression by spinning, leaving Buizel temporarily on the ground and then rejoined again into Klinklang.

"Klinklang, Volt Switch!" Klinklang finally landed the move and electrocuted Buizel, Klinklang then shone with a yellow light as it was being recalled but Ash quickly gave an order before it could.

"Buizel, Pursuit!" Buizel was surrounded by black sparks and he quickly bashed Klinklang with his body before it returned to its Poke Ball, the gear Pokemon then fell knocked out and Buizel fell next to him, tired but still willing to keep going.

"Klinklang is unable to battle! Buizel is the winner!"

"Gears down, people!" The announcer said.

"Go, Ash! Go, Go, Ash!" Both Dawn and Flannery cheered.

"Hey, I think I'm getting the hang of this." Flannery said.

"You're doing great!" Dawn replied and then looked at Bea who was standing behind. "Come on, Bea, do your part."

"Hmm..." Bea simply looked to the side.

"Thanks, Klinklang." Jasmine returned the Pokemon. "Steelix, Shine on!"

The giant snake came out of its Poke Ball, pink heart seals adorning her entrance.

'Steelix must be her mega.' Ash though. 'But I don't see its stone anywhere.'

"Here we go, Iron Tail!" Steelix's tail was surrounded by white light and she used it to smack down Buizel.

"Use Ice Punch!" Buizel jumped and hit Steelix in the face, not doing much damage due to the snake's high defenses and because Buizel was tired and damaged from the Volt Switch.

"Aqua Jet!"

"Use Crunch!" Steelix stopped the move biting Buizel's whole body. "Now smack him down!" Steelix raised her jaw and the dropped it on the ground blowing up dust, the sands cleared and Buizel was defeated.

"Buizel is unable to battle! Steelix is the winner!"

"Huff, that was fast!" The announcer said. "Steelix isn't Jasmine's ace for nothing, uh?"

"Thanks, you did great." Ash said recalling Buizel. "...now who's next?" Ash took a moment to decide, knowing Steelix wouldn't go down easily, specially if she was a Mega. "Alright, Heracross, I choose you!" Ash tossed the Ball to the air, various X-shaped seals appearing along Heracross, who then flew down to the battlefield.

"Use Stone Edge!" Steelix sunk the end of her tail into the ground as several sharp rocks rose from the ground towards Heracross.

"Counter with Bullet Seed!" A big green seed appeared over Heracross' horn, the seed then turned into several small green bullets that shot themselves at the rocks, stopping them before they could reach Heracross.

"Iron Tail!"

"Heracross, Focus Punch!" Heracross managed to knock the Iron Tail away despite Steelix's weight.

"Use Crunch!" Steelix dived down and tried to bite Heracross.

"Take flight!" Heracross opened his wings and avoided the move. "Stay there and use Bullet Seed!" Heracross did as told and sent a rain of Seed Bullets onto Steelix.

"Use Sand Tomb!" Steelix spun along the ground creating a sand tornado that trapped Heracross. "Good job, now use Iron Tail!" Due to the sand blocking his vision, Heracross didn't have time to react and he was smacked in the ground with the Iron Tail. "Do it again!"

"Megahorn!" Heracross horn was surrounded by a green light and he got up to stop the move before it hit him again, after a short power struggle, Heracross managed to flew off the Iron Tail range just in time.

"Sand Tomb again!" Once more, Heracross was trapped in a cyclone of sand. "Now use Crunch!" Steelix bit down Heracross' horn, smacking him down in the ground, like she did to Buizel.

"Use Smart Strike!" Heracross' horn elongated as a big metallic X appeared at the end of it, this caused Steelix to opened her mouth in pain, Heracross then charged against Steelix with the Smart Strike.

"Iron Tail!" Steelix quickly smacked Heracross back with her tail sending him flying back a few meters. "Use Stone Edge!"

"Smart Strike!"

With the Steel Type move, Heracross took flight and went through the rocks breaking them.

"Catch him with Crunch!"

"Not this time, keep the impulse and use Focus Punch!"

Heracross spun in the air avoiding Steelix's bite, his right fist glowed red and he slammed it right onto Steelix's forehead, the Steel Type then dropped on the ground, Heracross then closed his wings and let himself fall charging another Focus Punch landing directly onto Steelix blowing up dust, the view quickly cleared and Steelix was defeated as Heracross flew back to Ash.

"Steelix is unable to battle! Heracross is the winner!"

"There we go." Ash calmed himself. "But if she didn't Mega-evolve Steelix, then who is she going to?"

"Alright Ash, this is my final Pokemon!" Jasmine returned Steelix and held the Poke Ball up in the air. "Light it up, Amphy!" An Ampharos with a collar came out of the Poke Ball, the seals spelling the word R-Y-U.

"Wait, is that?"

"Nope." Jasmine interrupted knowing what Ash was going to ask. "Ash, meet Amphy, she's Sparkle's partner." Jasmine introduced the Ampharos who waved at Ash.

"I see...ready for this, Heracross?" Ash asked and his Pokemon raised his arms with a mighty cry. "Then Focus Punch!"

"Fire Punch!" Jasmine ordered and both of Amphy's arms were covered in fire, she blocked the Focus Punch with an uppercut and then landed another Fire Punch with her free arm.

"Now Thunder!" Amphy expelled an electric beam from the orb in her head hitting Heracross right in the horn.

"Bullet Seed!"

"Fire Punch!" Amphy used the Fire Type move to block the seeds, she then jumped and hit Heracross twice with the Fire Punches.

"Megahorn!"

Heracross flew towards Amphy, she tried to block the move, but she was hit right in her stomach. "Keep going, Focus Punch!" Heracross then raised his fist but he was stopped by static, seeing this opportunity, Jasmine gave an order. "Focus Blast!" Amphy raised her tail as an energy sphere appeared around the red orb at the end of it, Amphy then wagged her tail around, launching the sphere at Heracross sending him flying, Heracross then tried to get up but was stopped by the static.

"Heracross is paralyzed!" The announcer shouted.

"You don't say!" Ash replied at him.

"Here comes our chance." Jasmine touched the pendant on her necklace and Amphy's collar was surrounded by light. "The dragon wakes as your calm becomes anger...laugh in the face of those who say that you're harmless...you were stripped of wings...but now this gift you'll bring...let mortals hear you sing!"

Amphy roared and a huge thunder fell from the sky onto her, Ampharos tail and head were now covered in wool as the Mega evolution symbol appeared Infront of her and she roared again.

"You have to admit, she looks pretty darn good." The announcer said.

Mega Ampharos..." Ash trailed off scanning here with his Rotom Phone. "Mega-Ampharos, the light Pokemon, massive amounts of energy intensely stimulated Ampharos's cells, apparently awakening its long-sleeping dragon's blood."

"Dragon?" Ash asked. "Well, that's unexpected."

"Let's show them your true power, Amphy! Dragon Pulse!"

Amphy roared again, shooting a purple dragon-shaped beam thar exploded into Heracross.

"Megahorn!" Heracross managed to avoid the static and fly towards Amphy

"Fire Punch!" Amphy landed and uppercut right before Heracross could reach her, she then grabbed him by the horn and smacked him into the ground. "Thunder!" A huge bolt emerged from Amphy's body creating an electric explosion, Heracross then came flying from it and fell defeated.

"Heracross is unable to battle! Ampharos is the winner!"

The crowd roared again as the battle went down to 1 on 1.

Ash returned Heracross and looked at his last Poke Ball. "Infernape, I choose you!"

The Fire starter jumped into the battlefield along flame seals.

"Go, Infernape!" Dawn said.

"Set the world aflame!" Flannery added.

"Yeah, kick her ass!" Cinderace cheered on.

"When did you got out of your Poke Ball?" Bea asked.

"You don't know everything about me." Cinderace answered. "Give me those things if you're not going to do anything." Cinderace took the pompoms and cheered on along Dawn and Flannery.

Bea walked until she was next to them and then looked down at the battlefield. "...Hey, Ash!" Bea shouted at him and Ash looked back. "You can do it!"

"...Thanks, Bea!" Ash waved at her.

"Hey, simple but clean." Dawn said at Bea. "That's very good."

"Time for the great finale, Ash!" Jasmine exclaimed.

"Mach Punch, go!"

"Focus Blast!" Five Focus Blast appeared on Amphy's tail, one for each red orb, Amphy then waved her tail towards Infernape firing them all at once, Infernape punched away the first two with Mach Punch but he was ultimately reached by the rest.

"Do it again!" Jasmine ordered and Amphy shot 5 more orbs.

"Block them with Shadow Claw!" Using the immunity of the Type, Infernape blocked the Fighting attacks.

"Dragon Pulse!"

Infernape didn't have time to dodge and tried to cover himself with his arms but the energy sent him flying.

"Flamethrower!"

"Thunder!"

The moves collided but Thunder quickly took over and electrocuted Infernape.

"Flare Wheelz!" Infernape charged against Amphy surrounded in a wheel of fire, Amphy tried to stop it with Focus Blasts, but Infernape kept going and hit her directly.

"Now Shadow Claw!" Infernape used the move and slashed Amphy several times.

"Fire Punch!" Amphy blocked finally the move and responded by punching Infernape in the face.

"Give them a lightning Storm, Amphy!" The dragon shot a thunder to the skies, forming a huge grey cloud over the battlefield, it didn't start to rain, however, various thunders were heard and then lightning came raining down to hit Infernape.

"Look out!" Ash tried to warn him, but Infernape couldn't move in time, the lightning effectively knocked him to the ground and damaged him a lot.

Infernape then got up and jumped to hit Amphy with a Mach Punch but another lightning came down on him, Everytime Infernape got up, the lightnings kept going, he simply couldn't get close to Amphy, while the latter stood on her place laughing.

"I shouldn't have forgotten Dig." Infernape said to himself

"Don't get confident, Amphy!" Jasmine warned her but she simply smirked. "Focus Blast!" Amphy launched the five orbs, these hitting Infernape all at the same time along a lightning.

Luckily, this was just enough damage to get Infernape in the Blaze range, the flame on his head elongated as his eyes turned bright.

Jasmine wasn't exactly concerned by this, she had already fought trainers that had a Pokemon with Blaze so she knew more or less what to expect.

On his side, Ash was slightly worried, of course, the damage buff from Blaze always comes in handy, but it meant that Infernape was now in critical health, that lightning storm was still going on, they couldn't just go full offense this time and Infernape knew it too.

"Infernape, try to dissolve that cloud with a Flamethrower!"

Infernape expelled a giant Flamethrower to the skies, seeing what they were doing, Amphy attacked on her own expelling a giant thunder from her body that collided with the Flamethrower, both moves exploded together and the cloud started to shrink, oddly enough, the cloud stopped shrinking before it fully disappeared, leaving only a small yellow cloud on its place, the cloud came down from the skies and stood in the middle of the battlefield it then went up again flying in circles.

"Uh, what just happened?" Bea asked.

"I'm not sure." Dawn replied.

"It appears that they have created a sentient cloud." Flannery said. "The combination of fire and electricity must have altered the cloud's atom to an extremely high degree, the question now is...can it be controlled?" After Flannery ended her explanation, Dawn and Bea were looking at her. "What? I may 'get excited' easily, but I'm not an idiot, do you know the kind of exams they give you to be a Gym Leader? Those things are heinous!"

"What is that thing?" Ash asked looking up at the cloud.

Infernape was wondering the same, he felt a weird sensation and by instinct, he whistled, the cloud came down and floated Infront of him, Infernape touched it and the cloud lowered itself to the ground, Infernape then took a few steps back confused, he then put a foot over the cloud, noticing his foot didn't fall through, Infernape jumped onto it and with a bit of balance, he stood up on the cloud.

"Amphy, use Thunder!" Tired of waiting, Jasmine gave the order and Amphy attacked, Infernape was about to jump off the cloud, but before he could, the cloud moved away on its own and avoided the move.

Getting the trick of it, Infernape whistled again and the cloud flew towards Amphy once he was close enough, Infernape jumped off the cloud, which kept going and exploded onto the Electric Type, the cloud disappeared for a moment and then formed again right next to Infernape.

"Hahaha, you're so dead!" Infernape Laughed at Amphy.

"Fire Punch!"

"Counter with Mach Punch!"

Both Pokemon traded blows and neither of them seemed to be above the other, Infernape whistled again, the cloud crashed onto Amphy, giving Infernape and opening to go for a Mach Punch right in her face.

"Amphy, Focus Blast!"

Infernape jumped onto the cloud and this flew around avoiding the blasts. "Mach Punch!" Using the extra speed gained with the cloud, Infernape punched Amphy right onto the wall.

"Dragon Pulse!" Ampharos quickly shot the move and finally knocked Infernape out of his cloud. "Now Thunder!"

"Use Flamethrower!" Both Pokemon shot their moves at each other, powered by Blaze, Flamethrower was now equal to Thunder, Infernape looked at the cloud which was just standing there on one side of the battlefield, he couldn't whistle to call it, so he tried moving his hand, the cloud responded and spun around of him and then traveled along the Flamethrower, passing the Thunder and exploding onto Amphy, who stopped her Thunder due to the attack, giving Infernape a chance to end it off with his Flamethrower, Amphy then fell to the ground burned and lost her Mega evolution, ending the battle.

"Ampharos is unable to battle! Sun wuko- I-I mean, Infernape is the winner!"

"GREAT JOB, ASH!" The three cheerleaders shouted together, even Bea was finally getting into it.

"UN MONO VOLADOOOOR!" The announcer sang. "And the battle is done, Wu Cheng'en would be proud! Woo! Very well! I think that's enough brawl for today, are you ready for the show?!''

Intense cheers were heard.

''I can't hear you!''

Even more cheers.

''Very well people, our stars will be up in 10 minutes, let it ride!''

"Infernape, that was amazing!" Ash talked to the starter who was now sitting in the cloud with his legs crossed. "How should we call this thing?"

Infernape scratched his chin for a moment, he then took his Poke Ball capsule and the alphabet seals writing a message in the capsule.

"Flamming Nimbus?" Ash read what Infernape wrote and he nodded. "That sounds great."

After returning Infernape, Ash went along Jasmine to meet with his three cheerleaders.

''Well, Ash, how did this trio work?'' Dawn asked leaning her arms over Flannery's and Bea's shoulders.

''I...thanks for cheering on me, you three girls were...I don't think I have words, you were all so beautiful.'' Dawn simply smiled with a slight blush as Ash said this, she was already used to the compliments, however, Bea and Flannery felt a sudden throb and fell to the floor.

''Oh, my, you...you okay, girls?'' Jasmine asked them.

''I think my heart skipped a beat.'' Flannery said holding her chest

''What she said.'' Bea replied.

"Oh, come here, you." Flannery got up and opened her arms, catching Ash in a hug.

"Here I come!" Dawn hugged him as well.

"I'm here too!" Jasmine jumped into the bargain

"Uh, girls, a bit of space?" Ash asked blushing but the three were still hugging him, he then looked at Bea who was simply looking from her side. "Bea, could you help me?"

"...Damn it all." Bea sighed but joined the hug too.

"I-I-I..." Ash ended up falling fainted in the ground.

''Guys, I think we fried his brain.'' Flannery said.

"Looks like the human body can only accept 3 hugs at a time." Dawn added.

"Yeah, but did he faint cause he was embarrassed by the hugs or was it the lack of oxygen?" Jasmine asked "You think he'll be okay?''

''This is Ash we're talking about." Bea replied. "He'll be just fine.''

Just as Bea said Ash woke up and opened his eyes and saw the four girls that were looking down at him, it was a great sight, even Ash had to admit it, but there was a matter he needed to attend.

"...Sorry, girls, I have to go see May." He said cleanly.

"Well, let's go." Flannery helped Ash get up. "I'll enter first and then I'll introduce you as a surprise, it'll be fun."

"Uh, sure." Ash accepted the idea.

"I want to see May again as well." Dawn said.

"She seems important for you, I definitely want to meet her." Bea added.

"Fine, what about you Jasmine?" Ash asked her.

"Oh, don't worry about me, I'll leave for now, I've been backing you from meeting with your friend after all, right?"

"Don't talk like that, I enjoyed having a battle with you."

"You guys go, I'll stay for the rest of the contest anyway so I'll see ya later, thanks for the help, Ash." Jasmine was about to walk away but Ash stopped her.

"Jasmine, wait, about what you-" Without letting Ash talk, Jasmine held his chin and planted a soft kiss on his right cheek.

"Maybe another time." Jasmine giggled and walked away.

"Los celotes no tienen mais, los celotes no tiene mais." Cinderace rubbed Bea's head and returned her to her Poke ball annoyed.

''I can't control myself, I'm so nervous!'' May was walking in circles around her room, already changed for the spectacle, while her family tried to calm her down.

"Excuse me, Miss May." The security guard that the staff assigned her opened the door. "There's a girl here that says she's your friend and wants to see you, she says her name is Flannery."

"Oh, thank god.'' May said. "Thanks, Vasquez, please let her in."

"May!" Flannery called her as she entered the room.

"Flannery! I'm so glad you made it!'' May ran to her and gave a hug.

''Of course I made it, girl, I would never miss something like this! And that reminds me, I brought you a little gift.''

''Well, give it to me, I need some moral boost.'' May scratched the back of her neck.

''Come on in!'' Flannery said and Ash entered the room along Bea and Dawn, he walked until he was Infront of May and thought about what to say for a moment.

''I...hi, May-"

-SMACK-

That was all that was heard, May had slapped Ash and no one, NO ONE, knew how to react, May then quickly broke the silence.

''Hi May?" She asked him. "...four years, Ash Ketchum...FOUR YEARS! No calls, no messages, n-not even a stupid letter...and all you have to say is...Hi, May?''

''M-May, I-'' Ash tried to say something once he got over the surprise.

''No! I don't want to hear it!" She tried to push him away but she couldn't, she felt weak. "W-Whatever you have to say, I don't care!''

''Miss May, is everything alright?'' The security guard asked.

''...Vasquez, G-Get this man out of my room.'' May said pointing at Ash.

''May, listen-''

''I don't have time for this, Ash! ...If this Was going to be like this, you shouldn't have come.''

"Gentleman, I'll ask you to leave kindly." The guard looked down at Ash.

"W-Wait, I'm her friend." Ash stuttered, while Bea obviously stood next to him willing to fight.

"No, Bea." Ash looked at her wanting to avoid more conflict, Ash looked at May again and she simply gave him the cold shoulder.

"Gentleman?" The guard called him again.

"I'll be waiting outside the door, May." Ash said. "I just want to talk with you."

As Ash left the room, Dawn and Bea followed him, Flannery was about to do the same, but she stopped right before leaving.

''Huh, give me a second, guys." Flannery then went to talk with May.

''May, what was all that?!''

''Leave me alone, Flannery!'' She shouted. "I can't believe this!"

''No, I-just, what the hell? You're always talking about how much you wanted to see him again! Well, there he is! I brought him for you!''

''This is not how I wanted it to be!'' May exclaimed.

''What are you talking about?!'' Flannery kept asking.

''Why did you bring him?'' May asked her in the verge of tears.

''Because you told-''

''You're not understanding!'' May interrupted her.

''I-''

''Miss may, it's time for the opening presentation.'' A staff member called from the door.

''...I'm going.'' May simply said, she walked outside of the room, where Ash was waiting for her.

"May..." Ash tried to say something but the look on May's face shut him down, it wasn't an angry look, Ash would say she looked rather disappointed, she looked like she was about to cry too, May simply walked away, Flannery then came out of the room looking lost.

''You okay, Flannery?'' Dawn asked.

''I don't know..." Flannery scratched the back of her head. "I think I've messed up.''

May's family were the next to come out of the room and they all looked at Ash.

"Ash, I'm so sorry about this." Caroline talked first.

"I wish we could have met again in better terms." Norman added.

"No, it's alright." Ash said still rubbing his cheek. "I just need to talk with her.

"She already went to the first round act." Max said.

"Then I'll talk with her after she's done." Ash said. "Let's watch her presentation, we should do that at least."

"Welcome, welcome! It's time to start the show!" The announcer called again. "May and Lisa and here to illuminated the stage! Now let's explain the rules quickly, shall we? The final round of the world contest will consist of three separate acts, the first act will be a classic solo performance with two Pokemon where the coordinator will have to participate and where the crowd will vote for their favorite, thanks to our fellow performances in Kalos for the ideas, the second act is a pair act where the coordinators will have a dance and sing partner and they will use one Pokemon each, the crowd will decide the winner too, the final act will be a battle stage, both participants shall have a two on two battle and the winner of that last round will be decided by the judges! BUT keep this is mind, people, this is a best 2 out of 3 competition, if any of the girls wins the first two rounds then we are done for!" The announcer stopped a moment to regain air. "Done explaining, no more facts are left remaining! Now let's see who's first!" The screen of the stadium showed a roulette with the images of May and Lisia on each side, the arrow of the roulette started to spin and then stopped on Lisa face. "Lisia shall be the one to start this show! ARE YOU READY?!" The whole stadium cheered on and clapped.

Lisia then walked to the stage waving at the audience.

"Hey, Hey, everyone! How are you today?" Lisia asked in a sweet voice and the whole stadium clapped for her. "Thank you so much for coming to see me today! Here we go!" Lisia released an Altaria and an Audino, both of them with collars.

"Wish me luck!" Lisia said to the crowd as se thought. 'As if I were going to need it.'

Lisia vegan her act by doing various pirouettes around the stage, her Pokemons followed her moves. "Audi, Misty Terrain please." Audino waved her arms and the stage was surrounded by a pink mist. "Perfect, now Ali give us a Hurricane." Altaria spun slightly faster, creating a small pink tornado around the same height of Lisia.

Lisia danced around the Hurricane as the soft wind created by it sent out glitters, while her two Pokemon kept dancing around them.

"Audi, Sunny Day!" Audi raised her arm and a bright sunlight illuminated the stage.

"Ali, Solar Beam!" Putting her wings together, Ali shot a green beam at the pink tornado, it then reflected the light in various directions, while Lisia stood in front of it.

"And now for the final touch!" Lisia pressed the Key Stone on her tiara, causing both her Pokemon to Mega Evolve at the same time.

"Ali, Dragon Breath! Audi, Dazzling Gleam!" Both Pokemon shot their moves at the tornado creating something similar to an aurora.

"Now, Audi, Icy Wind!" The ice shard scattered in the wond once again reflected the light.

"Ali, Hurricane again!" The time Ali flew around Lisia, a rainbow-colored hurricane surrounded her. "Perfect, now give me a Tailwind!" Ali flapped her wings along the tornado, Lisia was gently taken up by the winds and she kept doing pirouettes while in the air, the tornado then started to dissolve and Audi lowered Lisia slowly with Psychic, Lisia then landed safe right in the middle on the tornado fully dissolving it, Lisia then posed one last time along her two Pokemon and received a standing ovation from most of the crowd.

"Oh, that was so beautiful." The announcer said.

"May isn't going to have it easy." Bea said back in the stands.

"I just hope she's okay." Ash said.

"Good luck, May." Lisia simply said to her and she walked to the stage.

"Lisia has just remembered everyone why she has been the world contest champion for five years! And now let's see if May is up to this."

May entered the stage waving to the audience, she looked around at the crowd, quickly spotting the face she was looking for. "You...why you...no, not now, May." She tried to calm herself and released Glaceon and Wartortle.

"Wartortle, Bubble!" The Kanto starter jumped onto its shell shooting several bubbles that flew up.

"Glaceon, Ice Beam!" Glaceon made her move and froze the bubbles causing them to float down to the ground.

"Wartortle, Rapid Spin!" The turtle sped up the spin and dashed thought the bubbles leaving a trail of icy glitter.

"Here we go..." This was the part where May was supposed to jump in, they've been practicing this for weeks, she was going to hop onto Wartortle's shell while still spinning, she knew what she had to do, but she couldn't, while she was jumping she accidentally set her gaze on Ash, May lost focus and stumbled, falling onto the stage, causing everyone to gasp while Lisia laughed in the inside.

"N-No!" May quickly got up and her Pokemon looked at her. "I'm okay, I just-" May tried to walk but she stumbled again, this time falling face first, the music stopped, everyone went silent, May stood in the ground for a few seconds, her friends and family started to worry, but she got up again and looked at Ash once more, she cleaned her face, there was a bit of blood on her nose, May returned her Pokemon, she then stood quiet for a moment and then ran out of the stage.

"Oh, well...that was..." The announcer didn't know what to say.

"Called it." Lisa said to herself.

After a few minutes, it was time for the people to vote, Lisa was smiling in the stage while May still hasn't appear.

"Just where is that girl?" The announcer who was now waiting in the stage as well asked.

"Excuse me, dear sir." Lisa called at him. "I think it's obvious May won't show herself for the results after that... unplanned act, can we just keep going?"

"Well, I suppose there's no point in waiting." The announcer admitted and then turned on his microphone. "Very well, contest fans! You all have a Light Caster in your chair, we couldn't call it Glow Caster or else the Kalos showcases would sue us, anyway, please press Red for May and Green for Lisia.

Everyone pressed their Light Caster, hundreds of small luminous balls came out of them, needless to say, most of them were green, all the balls were absorbed by the main screen of the stage and Lisia's side quickly went to the top.

"Lisia wins with a 96%!" The announcer exclaimed. "What a devastating victory! May will have to get really serious if she wants to have a chance of winning this! Huff, that's all for today, folks, we'll meet here tomorrow for the second act! Go in peace!"

Meanwhile, May was Infront of a river that she found close to the city, she was looking at the results in her phone.

"This is..." May finally started to shed tears. "T-This is all Ash's fault! He made me lost focus!" May searched for her Split terracotta ribbon, setting her gaze on it for a minute or so, she quickly dried her tears and raised her hand, she hesitated for a moment but she ended up tossing the ribbon to the river. "This is...this is his fault." May simply sat down next to the river, hiding her face between her legs.
