pokemon Fighting Dreamers

Today, our story begins with a blue-haired man who was sitting infront of a lake along his Weavile, oddly thing about this lake, it had an upside down waterfall near it, this man was in a place people we call the Distortion World and he was talking to someone, but who was he talking to? That's a mystery.

"Uh, who might you be? ...Leave me alone."

"You're back? ...My name? ...My name is Cyrus..."

...

"You again...What are you doing here? ...What am I doing here?... That's a long story..."

...

"Why do you insist?...I told you is a long story...you have the time?...Fine then, take a seat..."

"Some time ago, I envisioned the creation of a perfect world, a world without emotions, at my image...but I failed, or perhaps, I succeed? It is true I am now in a world with no feelings or emotions but...if this is the world I envisioned then why I don't feel satisfied?"

"This world...The Distortion World...it is a exception in the right meaning of the word, in this place I feel no sleep, no hunger, I can tell that since I entered here years have passed, but I do not age, time has lost its effects on me."

"It's been just me and my Weavile, my first and only Pokemon, he's been with me since I was a child, before all this happened, although I'll admit I didn't like his company back then, it was just a condition for the school I was applying."

"Still, we are not the only inhabitants of this place...Giratina...he is the ruler of the distortion world, he brought me here, or rather he invited me, I entered here on my own after all, he has never tried to attack us, he simply wanders around...is he actually a he?"

"But why would he offer me an entrance? And on the same, why doesn't he offers me an exit? Is this meant to be a punishment for my acts? Some kind of imprisonment? If that is the case does that means we'll be free some day? Perhaps we'll never know."

"I don't see myself as a villain, but I know I'm no hero either, you see, there's good and bad in all of us, yes, maybe you're not a murderer, but you did something that you don't want the other people to know, a white lie, a whispered slander, even a cheat in a game...what about you?...What did you do?"

"You might say my intentions were evil, but were they really? In a world without emotions, people wouldn't have different ideas, everyone would be the same, that would mean no discussion, no discrimination, no conflicts at all, emotions are the cause of all strife in the world, in my world, no one would even know what those things are...no one except for me."

"Regrets? I've had a few...Maybe I always knew my plan was unachievable but I gave my all trying anyway, I made a lot of sacrifices for the sake of it...but if I knew it wouldn't work then why all the effort? Is it possible to show yourself you were wrong?"

Back in the real world

''Very well, people, we'll land in that clearing conveniently placed a kilometer away from the base.'' Looker said as they overflight the forest surrounding the dried lake, the Lookercopter then landed in silence.

''Alright guys, first things first." Jasmine said as they exited the helicopter. "We need a plan of attack.''

''I have a plan, attack.'' Volkner released his Luxray.

''I'm with Jasmine here, we need a plan..." Ash thought for a second and then talked again. "How about this? Saturn is doing something out there, we have to stop him, but we still need to find Lucas, someone will have to find the entrance of the base to go for him.''

''I'll do it.'' Mars obviously offered herself.

''I'm gonna help you.'' Bea said to Mars.

''I'll go too.'' Flannery added.

''Alright, I'm gonna fight Saturn then.'' Ash looked at Pikachu who nodded.

''I'll stay with you.'' Jasmine said to Ash.

''Same goes for me.'' Volkner added.

''Fine then, I'll stay in this spot." Looker said. "I'll wait until the reinforcements arrive and then we'll raid this place, if everyone knows what to do then we'll go in 5 minutes, prepare whatever you need.''

After a quick preparation montage, everyone was ready to go, Flannery was looking around, seeing how everyone was so confident while she was quite nervous.

''Wow, you people never doubt, I guess I'm the only one scared here.''

''Flannery, if you don't want to-''

''Save your words, Ash." Flannery interrupted him. "I'm gonna help, I guess saving the world is obvious thing to do when you live there, right?''

''I guess...just take care, Flannery.''

''You too, see ya in a minute.'' As Flannery walked to Mars to talk about their plans, Bea took her turn to talk with Ash.

''Hey, don't worry, I'll look after her, this can't be much different from what we did with Team Rocket.''

''Except that it is..." Ash gave her a worried look. "Not to mention we still have to deal with Eternatus eventually and...I hate to admit it, but I'm kinda worried.''

''About Eternatus?''

''About the fact that there is always evil in this world, it doesn't matter how many villains I defeat there's always another one. Team Galactic suddenly came back, are the rest of the evil teams going to return as well? Is something even worse coming after Eternatus? How long will I keep this up? ...when will the world be a safe place?''

''I'm afraid that will never happen, but that's why we need more people like you, always willing to fight for the right things.''

''...''

''Hey, don't sweat it." Bea gave him a soft punch in the right arm. "You have your Pokemon with you and just look around, they are all here to help you.''

''Yeah...and I have you too, right?''

''...Of course, Mr. Ketchum, I'm all yours.'' Bea blushed a little after saying that last sentence.

''Well thanks, Mrs...hey, what was your last-''

"Alright people, everyone to the center!" Looker called them. "It's time to roll, go and make this region proud."

"That's easy to say." Mars said. "You'll stay here safe and sound."

"I already told you I'm gonna wait for the reinforcements!"

"Yeah, whatever you say, let's start moving."

''Stop right there, intruders!'' A group of Galactic grunts suddenly appeared Infront of them. ''None of you are going to interrupt-''

''Luxray, Discharge!'' Volkner interrupted the grunt and Luxray shot an electric charge knocking him out.

''We got intruders, send reinforcements.'' Another grunt called on a Poketch as they released Skunkys, Glameows and Croagunks.

''Alright, new plan." Jasmine said as she released her Steelix. "Volkner and I will take care of the grunts, you guys keep going.''

"You heard her, people." Mars led the way, being followed by Bea, Ash and Flannery, they ran until they were at the shore of the dried lake, Saturn could be seen in the middle of it, simply staring at the machine, all on his own without any grunts accompanying him.

"Alright, this is where we part." Ash said.

"Take care." Bea said.

"You too." Ash replied. "I doubt Saturn will tell me anything, so if you find out what he's doing or how to stop it, inform me about it, got it?"

"Of course." Bea nodded. "Be careful."

"Are you sure you can handle him alone?" Flannery asked.

"Don't worry, I've got this." Ash then ran onwards the lake as Mars led the girls into another direction.

"Mars, where are we going?" Bea asked.

"The entrance to the base wouldn't be in the lake itself." Mars answered. "I saw something in the way here, I think I know where the entrance is...there." Mars was pointing at an old warehouse in the middle of the forwst

"Uh...are you sure?" Flannery asked.

Suddenly, the door of the warehouse opened and a group of grunts came out of it, the girls barely managed to hide in time behind some trees. "Yup, totally sure." Mars said to herself.

The girls then ran inside the warehouse but this was pretty much empty, cans, metal and dust everywhere but nothing that looked like a secret base.

"There must be a hidden switch somewhere." Mars said. "Start looking."

The girls began to move things, but none of them seemed to activate anything, the situation kept on for roughly two minutes until Bea spotted a Persian figurine with a raised paw inside a box, Bea tried to lift the box, but it was glued to the ground, Bea then noticed that the Persian's raised paw was articulated so she lowered it down with her hand, the Persian's eyes turned red and a hole opened in the ground, revealing a set of stairs that went to a basement, the girls went down the stairs, these kept going and going into the darkness until they could finally see light again, the stairs ended, revealing a cave tunnel with some lights in the roof, Mars, Bea and Flannery kept walking inside the tunnel until they found themselves Infront of a huge underground building.

"Mars, did you know about this place?" Bea asked.

"No, I didn't, besides...it's weird, the design is different...it doesn't look like a Team Galactic building." Mars thought for a moment but decided to ignore that. ''We're going inside, let's try to keep a low profile, it'll be better if they don't know we're inside.''

The girls went inside the building with the guard up, however, the entrance hall was completely empty.

"Looks like they're running low on personal." Bea said looking around. "And not even that many people came out of the warehouse, where is everybody?"

"We're not here for them anyway." Mars replied in an annoyed tone.

The team kept walking through empty rooms and halls, avoiding the sight of the security cameras, trying to spot something that could help them, until Flannery finally found something.

"Hey girls, over here! This must be the security room.'' Flannery looked through the door's window seeing various screens.

''It might be what we need.'' Bea said.

''There's only one grunt inside.'' Flannery said.

''Yeah, but the door is locked." Mars tried to open the door to no avail. "And if we force it down we might give away our position.''

''Does anyone has a hair clip?" Flannery asked.

''No, but I think I have an idea.'' Bea quickly looked for her Dusk Ball and released Gallade.

''Gallade, can you use Shadow Sneak to go under the door?''

''Lade!'' The Pokemon affirmed with a shout.

''Shh.'' Bea called him to be quiet.

''Lade.'' The Psychic Type said more calmly giving her a thumbs up.

''Great, I need you to enter the door and open it from inside, got it?'' Bea explained and Gallade nodded turning into a shadow, he sneaked beneath the door and opened it from inside, but the grunt heard the creak.

''What was that?'' The grunt on the room asked.

Gallade quickly jumped infront of the grunt and threatened her with one of his blades before she could press any kind of alarm.

''W-What?'' The grunt raised her hands scared.

''Alright, I want you to lie down and...Hami?'' Mars asked recognizing the girl.

''M-Miss Mars?'' She asked.

''Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you since...since.''

''Jubilife, fridays.'' Hami ended the sentence.

''Yeah, fridays...well, what the hell...''

''Who's this?'' Bea asked.

''This is Hami, she was kinda my own second in command." Mars explained and then looked back at Hami. "How's Kecleon?''

''Oh, he's great, but what are you doing here? Are you rejoining Team Galactic?''

''I came here to rescue Lucas, can you tell me where he is?''

''Lucas?" Hami asked and then remembered something. "That boy they brought in earlier? He's a friend of yours?''

''Hami, please, tell me he's fine.'' Mars pleaded with a worried look.

''He is, give me a moment, I think it was Camera 3-44.'' Hami typed some things in the board and the screen in front of them showed Lucas inside of a prison cage.

''There he is.'' Hami answered and Mars sighed relieved to see he wasn't injured.

''Can you open the cage?'' Bea asked.

''I could, but look at this." Hami move the angle of the camera showing two grunts Infront of the cage. "There are two grunts guarding the entrance of the prison, I really doubt he'll pass them without his Pokemon.''

''Then we'll go there." Mars said. "Hami, can you give me a map?''

''Sure, but I'll need your Poketch.'' Mars handed over the device and Hami connected it to her PC sending the information and then giving it back to Mars. ''Here it is, locked and loaded. I'll open the cage for you when you're there.''

''Thanks Hami." Mars took back the Poketch. "...listen, do you know what Saturn is planning to do up there?''

''I don't, whatever it's happening up there they didn't tell the grunts, only Saturn and Charon know it.''

''What about the Regis?'' Flannery asked.

''That I do know, we created a sound frequency that alters them, but since capture them in that state was risky we let that to you, now that they're caught, Saturn has a device that lets him fully control them.''

''We're still missing a why.'' Bea said.

''We'll think about that later, let's go for Lucas.'' Mars was about to left the room but Hami stopped her.

''Miss Mars, one last thing.'' Hami opened a drawer and handed Mars three Poke Balls. ''These are your friend's Pokemon.''

''Thanks Hami." Mars received the Poke Balls. "I'll have to ask you one more thing.''

''Whatever you need.'' Hami replied with a smile.

''Once you open the gate for us, leave this place and never come back.''

''I...a-are you sure? I could guide you with the cameras are something.''

''No, listen, you've done too much already, this place is not good for you, please, go away and find a better life.''

''...Roger that.'' Hami nodded.

"Alright, girls, let's keep moving!" Mars exclaimed.

Back in the surface, Ash was already Infront of Saturn or rather, looking at his back, Saturn heard him coming but he didn't bother to look back, he was looking expectantly at the machine, which was still shooting a beam at the skies.

''Stop right there, Saturn!'' Ash shouted.

''...Of course you wouldn't die with that..." Saturn answered, still not looking at Ash. "How long will you keep this up? How many times are you going to repeat this story, Ash? Don't you get tired of this?''

''I'd never get tired of stopping people like you.'' Ash said.

"There is no people like me."

"You all think that." Ash replied again annoying Saturn.

''...Sure, but tell me, why come back after all these years?'' Saturn continued, not even bothering to look over his shoulder for Ash.

''I think I could ask you the same question.''

''Hmmp, I returned to finish what Master Cyrus started, but there was something I needed to do first.''

"That something being?" Ash asked.

"Soon you'll see." Saturn finally looked at Ash eye to eye.

''Alright, Everyone, I choose you all!'' Ash released Infernape, Dewott, Lucario and Corvisquire all at the same time while Pikachu joined them.

''Fine then, let's play.'' Saturn released his whole team as well, this being Toxicroak, Bronzorg, Kadabra and Golbat.

''Seems like you got us outnumbered...or do you?'' Saturn pressed a button on his Poketch and the three Regis rose from the ground.

''...Sure, this is the plan, Pikachu, go for Regice, Infernape, for Registeel, Lucario for Regirock, be careful, you don't need to knock them out, but delay them as much as you can until we stop Saturn, Corvisquire, Dewott, you two stay with me, everyone understood?'' All of Ash's Pokémon Made their respective cries.

''Then let's go!'' Infernape, Pikachu and Lucario jumped to attack, the first two successfully knocked back the titans, Lucario, due to being less experienced barely made Regirock flinch, but it was enough to get his attention and take him away from Saturn.

''You're still in disadvantage." Saturn said. "Your chances of winning are ridiculously low.''

''Never tell me the odds!'' Ash turned his cap backwards and prepared for battle.

''As you wish, Golbat, take the skies and use Hurricane!'' Golbat screeched and flew up. ''Bronzorg, Kadabra! Psywave!''

''Corvisquire, Agility and Power Trip!'' The bird surrounded itself in dark energy and destroyed the Psywaves bouncing from Kadabra to Bronzorg crashing each twice. "Good job, keep entertaining those two!" Corvisquire nodded and kept using Power Trip against the Psychic Type.

On the other side, once Golbat was high enough, it started to spin around, creating a huge gust that rained onto Ash's side of the field.

''Dewott, Razor Shell on Toxicroak!'' Ash called out as they tried to resist the winds.

''You know what to do." Saturn simply said to his ace, the frog jumped to take the hit and the Razor Shell was absorbed by her skin.

''What was...Dry Skin.'' Ash quickly realized his mistake.

''Go on, do that again.'' Saturn mocked him.

''Use Air Slash!'' Dewott's blade changed color and he tried to attack again.

''Counter with Cross Poison!'' Toxicroak's claws turned into two long purple blades and she crossed them in an X breaking the Air Slash, Dewott was then hit by one of Golbat's Hurricanes.

''Corvisquire!" Ash called his Flying Type who was still dealing with Kadabra and Bronzorg. "Go after Golbat! Stop those Hurricanes!''

"Corv!" The bird landed one last Power Trip, leaving Kadabra temporarily out of combat, Corvisquire then flew up and smashed Golbat with a Behemoth Bash but the latter stayed in the air, both Pokemon then attacked each other with Brave Birds, back in the ground, Dewott was doing his best to counter both Toxicroak and Bronzorg.

''Dewott, use-''

''Leo!'' Flannery's Litleo suddenly jumped over Ash's head with a Flare Blitz and hit Bronzorg directly.

''Litleo, what are you doing here?'' Ash asked.

"Lite!" The cub roared for him and took a piece of paper that was hanging on its neck giving it to Ash, who quickly read it.

-A little bit of extra help never hurts-

''Thanks, Flannery...alright then, Dry Skin protects Toxicroak from Water but...Litleo, Flamethrower on Toxicroak!'' Litleo roared shooting a stream of flames hitting Toxicroak and damaging her heavily and leaving her on the ground.

''As expected, Bronzorg, Rain Dance!'' The bell Pokemon levitated in the air, raising its arms, causing a rain to begin.

Back in the skies, Golbat laughed and spun creating even bigger hurricanes than before and trapping Corvisquire into one of them, Toxicroak then got up as the rain healed her injuries.

''Alright, so rain activates Dry Skin, boosts Hurricanes and protects Bronzorg from fire..." Ash did a quick recap of his current situation and then called Jasmine through his Rotom Phone. "Guys, I could use some help here.''

''Sorry, Ash, my hands are full.'' Jasmine answered while still fighting the grunts.

''Same here.'' Volkner added.

''Looker, how are those reinforcements going?'' Ash asked.

''We're still watching and waiting.'' Looker answered as Croagunk and him were taking cover from the fights.

''Sure, Infernape, Lucario and Pikachu are still handling a Regi each, I can't ask them for help...damn it, I hope Bea and Flannery are doing better than me.''

Back with the girls, Mars was leading them using the map that Hami gave them until they made it to the sector where Lucas was being held.

"There he is..." Mars trailed off. "Guess we're fighting those grunts." As Mars said this, one of the grunts received a call and they left the place leaving Lucas alone.

"...Well, that was easy." Flannery said.

"Way too easy." Bea added. "It's suspicious, maybe we should-"

''Lucas!'' Mars shouted and ran to the cage.

''Mars...you were...you came for me?'' Lucas asked her.

''Of course I did! Stay right there, we'll take you out!" Mars waved her hand at the camera and Hami opened the cage for them, after freeing Lucas, Hami turned all the screens off and left the room.

"'I'm sorry, Lucas." Mars helped him out of the cage. "This was all my fault, I should have been more careful.''

''...No Mars, I am sorry.'' Lucas said.

''Sorry for what?'' Mars said.

"There was a moment where I truly believed that you were with Team Galactic again. I doubted you. And for that, I am sorry."

"I would have believed the same if I was in your place." Mars said. "But I would never do that, how could I leave someone like you?"

''Oh, isn't that sweet? ...I hate sweetness.'' Charon appeared in front of them accompanied by a large group of grunts who released a flock of Zubats, Mukrows, Bronzors, Dustox, Skunky and Magmars. "Well, look who it is, falling for yet another trap." Charon then released his own Pokemon, a Tangrowth and a Nidoking.

"This is the guy Charon right?" Flannery asked.

"Indeed." Charon answered the question himself. "But who are your friends, Mars?"

"I didn't come here to have some talk with you!" Mars shouted.

"Of course, but I'm not much of a talker either."

"Everyone, let's crash!" Bea released her full Pokemon team as Flannery and Mars did the same.

''Rufflet, use Brave Bird on all the Zubats and Mukrow you can!''

''Ninetales, Lampet, Torkoal! Fire up those Dustox!''

''Gallade, Psycho Cut on the Magmars! Cinderace, Pyro Balls down the Bronzors!''

"Purugly, Jellicent, Crobat, help the rest as you can."

"Hitmontop, Quilladin, you two stay close and fight any Pokemon who pass them."

"Here Lucas, your Pokemon." Mars handed over the Poke Balls.

"Here we go!" Lucas tossed his Poke Balls to the air, releasing his three Pokemon.

"Rhyperior!"

"Bibarel!"

"Delelelelelew-" Before Kricketune could say anything, Bibarel slapped him.

''You really think you can get out of here?" Charon asked. "Against all of us? Are you insane?''

''Yup, we're insane." Bea answered. "But not alone."

Back with Ash, he was still trying to stop Saturn despite the rain holding him back.

"Litleo, Flare Blitz on Toxicroak!" The move landed but it did way less damage due to the ongoing rain, Toxicroak then hit back Litleo with a Brick Break.

"Dewott, use Razor shell on Bronzorg!" Ash tried to make use of the power boost that rain gives to Water moves, but Toxicroak jumped in front of Bronzorg just in time to receive the hit and absorb it, Toxicroak then responded with a Cross Poison knocking Dewott off his feet.

While Infernape, Pikachu and Lucario were still matching the Regis on their own and Corvisquire was still in the skies, Ash was running out of options.

"This is not good..." Ash said.

"Rrrr." Litleo growled at Toxicroak and then rushed against her.

"Litleo, wait!" Ash cried out but Litleo ignored him, charging with various Flare Blitz but missing every time.

"Counter with Bounce!" Saturn ordered and Toxicroak quickly jumped in the air and kicked Litleo back at Ash.

"Litleo, are you okay?" Ash asked as the cub got up with difficulty, Litleo tried to roar again but all that came out was a little meow causing Toxicroak to laugh, Litleo attacked with a Flamethrower but Toxicroak easily countered with a Cross Poison.

"Litleo, listen, back down, we'll take care of this." Ash tried to call onto the Pokemon but this stood in front of Toxicroak who taunted her.

"LEO!" Litleo charged with yet another Flare Blitz, but Toxicroak simply stopped it with a Cross Poison, the frog then used Bounce and jumped onto Litleo, she used several Brick Breaks still with Litleo under her feet while the latter was struggling to get her off.

Litleo tried to bit Toxicroak's arms but she missed every time, Litleo then was about to use a Flamethrower but Toxicroak held her by the neck asphyxiating the cub.

"Litleo!" Ash tried to run to them and get Toxicroak's attention but right in that moment, Bronzorg tossed Dewott at him causing him to fall.

With the last of her voice, Litleo roared to skies as she was surrounded by a swirl of flames, these flames caused Toxicroak to let Litleo go and jump back, Litleo then got up and began to shine and grow, the fire then died down and with a long, gold-red crest mane extending from her forehead, Litleo had evolved into a female Pyroar.

Ash quickly called onto his Rotom Phone. 'Pyroar, the Royal Pokemon, With fiery breath of more than 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, they viciously threaten any challenger. The females protect the pride's cubs. Side note: Pyroar has forgotten Hyper voice and Flare Blitz, replacing them with Noble Roar and Wild Charge, Side note 2: Pyroar's ability is Rivalry.'

"What does Rivalry do?" Ash asked

"He said and I'm quoting 'Raises Attack if the foe is of the same gender.' nothing more, nothing less." Rotom Phone explained.

Ash then noticed the way Pyroar was looking at Toxicroak. "Saturn's Toxicroak must be female...alright, Pyroar, it's all or nothing, give me a Wild Charge!"

Pyroar roared as her body was surrounded by electricity and charged against Toxicroak, the electric surging through with the help of the rain.

"C-Cross Poison!" Saturn started to worry and Toxicroak slashed Pyroar various times but the latter stayed on her feet.

''Pyroar, Noble Roar!" Pyroar roared up to the skies again, creating a sonic boom, the rain stopped and the clouds took the shape of four lion heads, Pyroar then roared at Toxicroak and the clouds roared with her, creating a strong gust that sent Saturn's Pokemon crashing onto him, the clouds then dispersed and a strong sunlight filled the place.

"It all comes down to this..." Saturn said getting up.

"Saturn, we can still end this peacefully." Ash said.

"You and I know it won't be that easy." Saturn smirked.

"You're with me, Pyroar?" Ash asked and received a fearsome roar in response.

"Toxicroak..." Saturn looked at his first Pokemon receiving a nod. "It's not the end for me... Cross Poison!"

"Noble Roar!" With a huge roar, Pyroar almost sent Toxicroak flying but the latter dug her claws onto the ground, holding on.

"Toxicroak, Stone Edge!" Toxicroak crossed her arms and was surrounded by two rings of flying rocks, she then fired the rocks at Pyroar.

"Use-" Ash was about to order something but before he could Pyroar attacked on her own with a Wild Charge going through the rocks, still receiving damage nonetheless, Pyroar managed to slam onto Toxicroak.

"Use Bounce!" Saturn ordered and Toxicroak jumped forward kicking Pyroar in her face. "Do it again!"

"Hold her with a bite!" Pyroar bit down Toxicroak's leg holding her in the place. "Wild charge!" Pyroar surrounded herself in bolts electrocuting Toxicroak and slamming her onto the ground. "Now Flamethrower!" Pyroar expelled a giant flame into Toxicroak sending her flying back.

"Get up! This can't end like this!" Saturn shouted and Toxicroak got up with difficulty.

"Pyroar, Dark Pulse!" Toxicroak resisted the hit directly and again tried to hold on with her claws.

"Toxicroak, use Giga Impact!"

"Pyroar, Noble Roar!"

The moves collided in the middle of the battlefield, the roar managed to slow down the Giga Impact, the latter move stopped right before it could reach Pyroar, both Pokemon looked at each other for a few seconds and Toxicroak ultimately fell down defeated.

"Good job, Pyroar!" Ash cheered on the Pokemon who panted exhausted but still stayed up.

"Hmm...yeah, you won." Saturn gave off a maniacal laugh. "But it seems like you forgot about something.''

An intense blue light came down from the sky as the machine behind Saturn absorbed it, creating a blue portal Infront of them.

"The time has come." Saturn said.

''Oh no...'' Ash simply said.

Meanwhile in the distortion world, the same blue portal appeared Infront of Cyrus, he walked to it along Weavile, seeing Sinnoh on the other other side, Cyrus then noticed Giratina flying over, looking down at him.

"You're not going to stop me?" Cyrus asked curious since Giratina wouldn't show interest on him often.

"...why should I?" Giratina answered with a dismal voice.

"..." Cyrus froze on his place after receiving a response.

"Scared?" Giratina asked.

"Why did you never talk before?" Cyrus asked as nervous as he could get, which wasn't very much honestly.

"Simply because there was no need to." Giratina replied resting on a rock.

"So you're letting me go?" Cyrus continued to ask

"It's your second chance, Cyrus...If I were you I would take it, second chances are really hard to come by."

"...Follow me, Weavile."

Cyrus entered the portal and exited it with a single step, the light of the sun blinded him for a second so he had to cover his eyes.

"This place...is this?''

"Master Cyrus!" Saturn called at him. "It really is you."

"Saturn? ...what did you-"

"I brought you back, Master Cyrus! With this machine! It created a portal for you and with the right modifications it could achieve your original goal."

"My original goal?" Cyrus asked.

"Your perfect world, Master Cyrus, we can finally create it! But first we have to get rid of this nuisance!" Saturn pointed at Ash who was just looking at them. "And with your help, I'm sure I can do it."

"Ash..." Cyrus trailed off looking at him.

''Tell me, Master Cyrus, what is our next move?'' Saturn looked at him expectantly

''Weavile..." Cyrus looked firmly at his Pokemon. "Night Slash.'' Weavile nodded and charged the attack, however, instead of targeting Ash or any of his Pokemon, Weavile jumped to the machine and slashed it, causing it to go shortcut and shut down the portal.

''W-What?!" Saturn stuttered looking at Weavile. "Why did you do that?!"

"Because I told him to." Cyrus stood up next to his Pokemon.

"M-Master Cyrus?'' Saturn stuttered.

''...You have to stop this.'' Cyrus said.

''You...no! N-NO!" Saturn began to shiver. "What happened to you?!''

''My travel to the distortion world was...quite stimulating in a way.'' Cyrus explained. ''I had some time to re-think.''

''But what about our plan?! Your Plan?!'' Saturn kept shouting.

"...That plan was a mistake, Saturn, all of this was a mistake."

''NO!" Saturn then noticed Kadabra finally regained his senses. "Kadabra, use Psychic on Master Cyrus!''

Kadabra wagged his spoon and raised Cyrus up in the air, Weavile then tried to attack Saturn with an Ice Punch but Bronzorg stood in the way and responded with an Iron Head.

"Saturn, this isn't-" Cyrus tried to talk to him.

''SHUT!" Saturn interrupted. "I will show you! I will show you that we can still make this work!''

''Saturn, it's over!" Ash shouted still surprised by the course of the events. "Even Cyrus realized that this can't be done! Why don't you do it too?''

''Silence!" Saturn shouted once more. "You! This is your fault! I don't know how but you did something! I will destroy you!''

''Yeah, get in the line, you're only the 50th person to tell me that.'' Ash said this line slightly annoyed, just as this happened, three rings appeared behind him. "Hold on a sec..." As Ash recognized the rings, these turned into three portals with Hoopa coming out of the center ring.

"Hoopa?!" Ash exclaimed surprised.

"Hey there, Ashkan!" Hoopa greeted him. "Seems like you're in a bit of trouble, aren't you?"

"Uh, well, I-" Ash still hadn't fully process the situation.

"It's alright, I brought you help!" As Hoopa said this, two more Pokemon passed the portals.

''More regis?'' Ash asked looking at their similar designs.

''That ridiculous!" Saturn exclaimed. "There are no more Regis!''

"Well, good luck, gotta go." Hoopa went back to his portal and closed the three, leaving the Regis with Ash.

''Ash Ketchum.'' The titans said at the same time.

''You can talk?! ...of course you can talk.'' Ash said.

''My name is Regidrago and this is my Twin, Regieleki, our father Regigigas has sent us in your aid.''

''Would you look at that..." Saturn said. "Actually, this is perfect for me.'' Saturn pressed a Button on his Poketch emitting a sound frequency that made Regirock, Registeel and Regice rumble, however once the sound reached Regidrago and Regieleki they didn't move at all. ''What the?!''

''Oh, no, I think it's working, I'm turning evil!" Regieleki dropped himself on the ground and then laughed out loud. "Haaaaa, ha ha ha, no, I'm not! Too bad for you, we may be Regis but we work in a different frequency, you think father would be stupid enough to send us here if that wasn't the case?! He may be slow but he's not that slow."

''Ash Ketchum." Regidrago called him. "We will face our brothers, the human menace is up to you.'' Regidrago then looked at his twin. ''I'll round them up, you trap them.''

''Got it, bro.'' Regieleki answered bouncing around.

Regidrago raised his 'Skull' and used Hammer Arm onto Regice, he was then held by Registeel, Regidrago raised his 'Jaw' and attacked with a Fire Fang setting himself free.

Seeing the help they were receiving, Infernape, Pikachu and Lucario decided to attack all at once against Regirock with a combination of Mach Punch, Iron Tail and Bone Rush respectively.

"Keep going, guys!" Ash cheered on his Pokémon.

"Weavile, help Ash." Cyrus ordered calmly still being held in the air by the psychic.

''Weava!'' Weavile jumped and started to attack Saturn's Bronzorg with several Night Slashes.

''Corvi!'' Back in the skies, Corvisquire slammed Golbat with a Behemoth Bash, knocking him out of the skies.

Infernape, Pikachu and Lucario pushed back Regirock causing it to crash onto Regice, Regidrago then tossed Registeel over the last two and Regieleki quickly stood over the three Regis trapping them with a Thunder Cage.

Saturn simply looked as everyone by his side fell down, Weavile then took down Bronzorg and attacked Kadabra with a Night Slash, one-shoting him and freeing Cyrus.

''No, this isn't possible, you can't win!'' Saturn shouted.

''It seems like he already did.'' Cyrus said.

Saturn once again looked around, seeing that all his Pokemon were defeated. ''No!" Saturn tried to run away, but he was quickly surrounded by Ash's Pokemon and the Galarian Regis. ''This isn't...no! NO!"

"Ash!" Jasmine called running to him along Volkner. "Sorry for the delay."

"Looker's folks finally appeared and helped us with the grunts.'' Volkner said. "They're right behind us."

''About time." Ash replied. "Saturn! The Interpol is on their way here, just surrender.''

''No! We were supposed to rule it all!'' Saturn shouted at Cyrus. "Why refuse to all of this? Don't you realize the truth?! You could have been a god!"

"..." Cyrus simply stood silent.

"Don't you dare-" Saturn was about to walk to Cyrus but Weavile stood in his way. "I just...I did this all for-"

"I did it for you!"

"I just wanted-"

CHAOS

"To make you proud!" Saturn was now shivering and Cyrus tried to get closer to him.

"Saturn, listen to me." Cyrus stepped in. "It doesn't have to be this way."

"No, Master...not anymore, Cyrus...Charon was right." Saturn walked back at the damaged, but still functioning machine that created the portal for Cyrus. "1B2B3." Saturn said

"Code loaded." The machine AI responded.

"What's that code for?" Ash asked Cyrus.

"I think it was..." Cyrus tried to remember.

"I have harnessed the harness..." Saturn trailed off sitting next to the machine.

Cyrus' eyes suddenly widened. "It's going to self-destruct!"

''Everyone, take cov-'' Ash tried to warn his Pokemon but the explosion had already happened.

As one door closes, another opens...life hands me lemons...But I don't hold them.

The explosion caused by Saturn was heard even inside the underground building causing a slight quake, but due to the current situation, our heroes ignored it.

"Rufflet is down!"

"Torkoal too!"

"Jellicent is out!"

"Bibarel!"

Bea and company were being pushed back by the grunts due to nearly 1 to 15 number difference of Pokemon

"There's too many of them." Lucas said.

"We need one big blow to clear the place." Flannery said.

"One big blow, I think I got that." Bea then looked at her ace. "Cinderace! The Fairy Gem you found back in Galar mine no. 2!"

"I got it!" Cinderace put a hand in her 'pants' pulling out the pink jewel. "Here." She showed it to Bea who blinked a few times.

"...Wait, you are wearing actual pants?" Bea questioned weirded out.

"Don't ask." Cinderace answered with a blank look.

"Yeah, sure, give it to Gallade."

"Hey, Gentleman Ghost!" Cinderace tossed the gem to Gallade and he caught it.

"That will power-up your Fairy Type moves!" Bea explained him. "Now give us a Dazzling Gleam, the strongest you have!"

Gallade nodded and held the gem up in the air, as a strong pink light surrounded his whole body.

"Everyone behind Gallade!" Bea shouted and all their Pokemon hid behind the still charging Gallade.

The gem disappeared and Gallade shot from his horn a massive pink beam that illuminated the whole place, Bea and co. had to to cover their eyes, once the light disappeared, almost all of Team Galactic Pokemon had fainted, only Charon's Tangrowth and Nidoking along a grunt's Magmar were left and these were very damaged, Gallade then fell to the ground fainted due to the effort and Bea returned him.

"I told you that thing would be more useful than your bra." Cinderace said.

"Shut up!" Bea shouted.

"Nidoking, Surf! Tangrowth, Rock Slide!"

"Cinderace, Pyro Ball!"

Charon's Pokemon combined their moves and Cinderace launched her attack knocking out Tangrowth and although Cinderace did her best to dodge but she was ultimately reached by the rocky waters.

"A...venge me!" Cinderace said before fainting and Bea returned her.

"I'm sick of this!" Mars shouted. "Purugly, Hyper Beam!

"Rhyperior, Rock Wrecker!"

"Lampet, Inferno!"

"Quilladin, Seed Bomb!"

All the moves hit Nidoking together, effectively knocking him out.

''Give it up, Charon!'' Mars said.

''Pathetic." Charon responded. "To think you could have been part of this, why reject an organization that gave you everything?''

''Because I moved past that, because I understood that it was wrong.''

''You think you can change what's going to happen? You think you can change what you are?! You'll probably be the next who tries to revive Team Galactic.''

''That's never going to happen!'' Mars' tantrum caused Charon to smirk. ''Argh, what did you want with Saturn?''

''Oh, Saturn already gave me what I need, don't worry about that."

"There's something else." Mars continued to say.

"Something like what?" Charon asked.

"Some reason you've come back after all these years, what do you want?"

"I want you to remember." Charon finally answered. "When it happens, when every city goes up in flames, I want you to remember that I tried to stop it."

''Stop what?'' Bea asked.

"Remember..." Charon pressed a button on his Poketch and the whole building started to shake. "We're out of here." Charon said to the grunts

"Magmar, Smoke Screen!" One of the grunts ordered and his Magmar expelled a thick fog blocking our heroes' sight.

"Charon is escaping!" Mars shouted.

"We don't have time for this!" Bea replied. "Everybody return your Pokemon, we're getting out!"

With the help of the map that Hami gave them, Mars was guiding the group through the halls of the building.

''Self destruct button! Why is there always a self destruct button?!" Flannery asked while still running. "Why would anyone ever need that?! What if you pressed it by accident?!''

"Flannery, focus on this!" Bea exclaimed.

After Bea and company escaped the underground building, several rocks started to fall from the roof of the tunnel, they managed to avoid most of them, but suddenly, the whole place started to shake violently and ground beneath them began to crack, Flannery stumbled and was about to fall into a sinkhole.

"Flannery!" Bea pushed Flannery away just in time to save her but she ended up falling in the hole instead.

''B-Bea, are you okay?!'' Flannery asked since she couldn't see Bea because the botton of the hole was too dark.

"I'm fine!" Bea answered dusting herself off. "Flannery, you guys keep going, I'll get out myself."

"I can't just leave you behind!" Flannery exclaimed.

"I'm gonna be okay, we'll lost time if you try to help me, get out of here and tell Ash to not come for me, understood?"

"But I-" Flannery stuttered at the thought that something could happen to Bea.

"Flannery!" Bea shouted again.

"F-Fine, I'm going!" Flannery finally gave in and kept running. "Please take care!"

Back in the surface, once the dust had cleared, almost all the Pokemon were fainted in the ground, even the Regis were damaged but the Thunder Cage held on, Ash looked around and returned Infernape, Lucario, Corvisquire and Dewott, all of them were down, same went for Pikachu, who Ash held in his arms, Ash then looked at Pyroar who was somehow still up and willing to fight, Ash then looked at the center of the lake, where the machine used to be, that place was still surrounded by smoke, Ash could see Saturn's silhouette in the ground and tried to reach him, but the ground surrounding him was too hot to approach, Ash then went to see Cyrus who was down on the ground along his fainted Weavile.

"Cyrus?" He didn't respond but Ash could feel his vital signs so he assumed he was okay.

"Volkner, are you unconscious?" Ash asked getting closer to him.

"I don't do unconscious, kid." Volkner answered suddenly opening his eyes.

"Good, uh...Jasmine?" Ash called her too but she didn't answer. "Jasmine!" Ash left Pikachu with Volkner quickly ran to her, he knelt next to her and moved her a little causing her to wake up. "Jasmine, are you okay?"

"...I am now." Jasmine gave Ash a hug sudden causing him to blush, Ash then looked back at Volkner who simply gave him a thumbs up.

'No matter what she says, she'll always be my little sister.' Volkner though for himself. 'And Ash is a good guy, she'll be fine...god, everything hurts.'

''ASH!'' Flannery shouted from the edge of the lake and quickly ran until she was infront of Ash.

"Flannery, you okay?"

"Ash, I-I-I-" Flannery tried to say something but she was too nervous to complete a sentence.

"What's wrong?" Ash got up, softly leaving Jasmine.

"Bea is, she is- wa!'' Flannery was interrupted by Pyroar who jumped over her, dropping her on the ground and licking her face.

''A Pyroar...Litleo! You evolved!'' Flannery exclaimed looking at her Pokemon.

''Yup! She saved me out here.'' Ash said. "Thank you for sending her."

''I...wow, wait, Litleo was a girl?'' Flannery asked.

''Now that you mention it..." Ash realized something. "He only attacked people when they referred to her as 'he'-

"Wait, really?" Flannery asked as a flashback session began.

''Oh..." Flannery finally realized as well. "So she was just doing a 'Did you just assume my gender' thing?''

''Apparently.'' Ash said this as Pyroar laughed nervously.

''Well, congratulations, girl!'' Flannery cheered on her Pokemon again.

''Roa!'' Pyroar then jumped over Ash head and tried to stay there as she did once she was a Litleo, however, since she was much heavier now, Ash ended up falling down.

"Hehe...wait, where's Bea?" Ash asked.

"Bea? ...oh gosh, Ash!" Flannery exclaimed.

"Flannery, what's the deal?" Ash asked getting Pyroar off him.

"Bea is in trouble! We found Lucas but then that guy Charon appeared, we had a fight, he pressed a self-destruction button t-then there was a quake and rocks were falling and a hole opened in the ground, I was about to fall, but Bea saved me and she fell there and we left behind!"

"..." Ash processed all that Flannery said for a moment. "THE WHAT?!" He finally shouted.

"I know!" Flannery was now feeling guilty. "I shouldn't have left her but she told me to keep going! I ran as fast as I could to tell you."

"Volkner, I'll leave Pikachu and Jasmine to you."

"Sure, go and be a hero." Volkner gave him a thumbs up again still on the ground.

"Flannery, please take me where she is." Ash said.

"O-Of course, come on." Flannery ran in direction to the warehouse and Ash followed her.

"This is all my fault!" Flannery said as they were running. "She's in there because she saved me!" The girl then stopped flat and held her head. "I shouldn't have come, I knew this was too much for me!"

"Flannery, listen!" Ash held her hands and got her back to her senses. "This is nobody's fault, the important thing now is help Bea, I need you take me where she is, I'll take care of the rest, okay?"

"O-Okay, sure." Flannery calmed down and led Ash to the warehouse from where Mars and Lucas were just coming out.

"Guys, where is Bea?" Ash asked.

"Sorry, we didn't see her anywhere." As Lucas said this, Ash quickly took a decision and ran inside the place.

''Where do you think you're going?!" Mars shouted seeing Ash was about to enter the tunnel.

"I'm going for Bea!" Ash answered with determination.

"Ash, please be careful!" Flannery pleaded.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Mars shouted again. "The whole place is going to collapse!''

''That never stopped me!'' Ash said as he ran downstairs.

Back in the underground, Bea had been trying to climb up the sinkhole but the rocks that she held onto kept breaking, after thinking for a while she finally came up with an idea and released Quilladin.

"Okay, Quilladin, I want you to curl up into a little ball, alright? Make yourself aerodynamic." Quilladin nodded and did as told, Bea then grabbed him and tossed the Grass Starter to the edge of the sinkhole.

"There, now use Leech Seed from up there and throw the vines down so I can climb." Quilladin used the move on the ground beneath him and summoned several vines from the edge of the hole to fall down close to Bea.

Bea then knotted them together like braids to make sure they wouldn't break, after securing them, she started to climb, while climbing she saw an interesting green stone stuck on the wall, Bea grabbed it and kept climbing, finally getting herself out of the sinkhole.

"There, thank you Quilladin."

''Bea!" Ash shouted running through the cave. ''Here you are!''

"Ash? I told Flannery to tell you to stay out."

"And you really thought I would do that?" Ash asked.

"...No, I didn't." Bea admitted with a sigh.

"Are you hurt?" Ash continued to ask.

"I can live with a few scratches." Despite the long fall, Bea was confident in her endurance as always

"Come on, let's take you out of-"

Another earthquake suddenly started and the ground cracked again, a hole formed right beneath Ash but before he fell Bea grabbed him and carried him in her arms moving away from the cracks.

"Huff, watch your step." Bea said.

"T-Thanks." Ash replied embarrassed by the position they were in. "...Bea, could you..." Ash then noticed their faces were a bit too close and Bea seemed to have her sight lost on him.

"Uh, Bea?" Ash called her again causing Bea to shake her head.

"Oh, right! Sorry!" Bea put Ash back in the ground and once the earthquake stopped they began to walk to the exit.

"You know?" Bea began to talk again. "For someone who's been traveling half the world, you're pretty lightweight."

"Says the girl who can knock down a metal door with her bare fists." Ash talked back.

"Touché." Bea admitted with a smile.

"Alright, we're right around the corner, the entrance should be...sealed?!" Ash looked at the gate that led to the stairs which was now covered by rocks.

"It must have been one of those quakes." Bea said. ''Is this the only exit?''

''I think it was.'' Ash replied.

"...of course it was." Bea had a dead look.

"How about we-"

Yet another earthquake occured and Ash and Bea held on to each other.

''Look out!'' Bea shouted and they looked up seeing several rocks and stalactites falling from the ceiling of the cave.
