Pokémon: Day Bringer

Chapter 21: Where next

After the food was done, they went one a Arcade, which was weird for everyone to see Whitney won, and after that they went to the park, shared a kissed under the tree, night came and went back to Haru house and then went to Haru room

And will they has Sex, let's say Jessie, James and Meowth were happy that Haru room was sound proof, and in the morning thanks to Haru having Spear cloths for Whitney will more like she was wearing his old clothes, she was limping in the morning as she made her way to the kitchen.

Haru just looked at Jessie and James. "Hope you sleep well. Haru then kissed Whitney in the cheek. "And last night was amazing"

Jessie smirked as she sipped her morning coffee. "Well, someone had a productive night. Guess we know who the real MVP of Goldenrod City is now."

James, attempting to stifle a laugh, chimed in. "I mean, it was hard not to notice, even with the soundproofing. Whitney's walk this morning gave it all away."

Meowth snickered, crossing his arms. "You two made us rethink how 'soundproof' actually works."

Whitney, her face red but with a hint of pride, plopped down at the table, grabbing a cup of tea. "Oh, hush, all of you. Not like any of you have someone lining up for you."

Jessie raised an eyebrow. "Oh, feisty this morning, aren't we? I wonder what—or who—could have caused that?"

Haru grinned, placing a plate of toast in front of Whitney. "Alright, alright, let's not tease her too much. Besides, I think she earned a bit of a break after last night."

Whitney glared at him, though her lips quirked up into a small smile. "You're lucky I like you, Haru, or I'd send my Miltank after you right now."

Haru chuckled, leaning in to kiss her cheek again. "Noted. But for now, eat up. You'll need the energy if we're heading out later."

James and Jessie exchanged amused glances, Jessie whispering to James, "Looks like Whitney's officially one of us now."

James nodded, smirking. "Yeah, welcome to the madness."

Whitney, overhearing, groaned. "Great. I've joined the circus."

Meowth hopped onto the table, grinning. "Ain't no circus like this one, toots."

Haru then summoned out all his Pokémon, will Meowth was already out as they went to eat.

Whitney then looked at Scizor. "Wait, you got back Scizor".

Haru looked at her. "Yeah, she forgive me much more easily then will Staraptor".

Whitney then looked at Hary. "So what now, Haru".

Haru looked at as he went to her. "Stay here for bit, spent some type with you train up Houndour, and then go to the next Gym, to get my Gym badges"

Whitney smiled softly, resting her chin on her hand as she watched Haru's Pokémon eat and interact. "That sounds like a plan, but make sure you don't slack off, mister. You may have impressed me last night—" she smirked mischievously, "—but battling a gym leader is a whole different kind of work."

Haru laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't worry, I won't. Houndour's been improving every day, and with Scizor back in the fold, I've got a solid team. Though... Staraptor might take a bit longer to come around."

Whitney nodded. "Staraptor was always stubborn. Just give it time and show it you're serious."

James, finishing his meal, leaned back with a grin. "Training for gym battles is one thing, but don't forget, you've got a whole team of trainers here willing to help. Right, Jessie?"

Jessie shrugged, taking a sip of her tea. "I'm not running any boot camps, but I'll throw in a tip or two if needed."

Meowth, munching on a berry, pointed a paw at Haru. "Just don't expect me to battle. I'm a strategist, not a fighter!"

Whitney chuckled, shaking her head. "You've got quite the crew here, Haru. It's chaotic, but... I can see why you're so motivated."

Haru smiled at her, leaning in to take her hand. "Motivated because of you, mostly. But yeah, having these guys around keeps things interesting."

Whitney's face softened as she squeezed his hand. "Good. You'll need all the help you can get if you're aiming to challenge trainers stronger than me."

Haru smirked. "Oh, I'm counting on it. For now, though, let's focus on today. Houndour's got potential, and I think it's time to bring it out fully."

Jessie stood up, stretching. "Well, while you two lovebirds train, James and I might hit the city for a bit. I hear there's a nice shopping district here."

James nodded. "And an arcade. I'm definitely checking that out."

Haru waved them off. "Just don't get into trouble."

Jessie smirked. "No promises."

As they left, Whitney turned back to Haru. "Alright, show me what you've got, Mr. Future Champion. Let's see if your training lives up to all that talk."

Haru grinned, standing up. "Challenge accepted. Houndour, Scizor, let's get to work!"

The next few days passed, Haru trained up Houndour, and thought him Flamethrower and got rid of ember, he then trained with James Scyther with his Scizor, spent more night with Whitney, trained Marshtomp and Elekid, and then this happend.

As in a opened filed as Whitney and Haru were using there Pokémon to fight, as it was normal battle not a Gym battlefield then it happened Elekid started to glow.

Haru and Whitney paused their friendly battle as Elekid began to glow, its form shifting and growing larger. Haru's heart raced with excitement. "No way! Elekid's evolving!"

The light grew brighter until it faded, revealing a newly evolved Electabuzz standing proudly in Elekid's place. The newly evolved Pokémon let out a confident cry, flexing its newfound power.

Haru grinned widely, pumping his fist into the air. "Yes! Electabuzz, you look incredible!"

Electabuzz turned to Haru, electricity crackling around it as it nodded with determination.

Whitney crossed her arms with a playful smirk. "Well, well, looks like your training's paying off. You're on a roll, Haru. First Scizor, now Electabuzz. What's next?"

Haru scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Honestly, I'm just glad my team's growing stronger together. Electabuzz is going to be a huge help in my upcoming battles."

Whitney approached Electabuzz, kneeling slightly to examine it. "This guy's got some real spark—literally. You've been training hard, haven't you?"

Electabuzz gave an energetic cry in response, sparks dancing around her fists.

Haru chuckled, placing a hand on Electabuzz's shoulder. "You've earned some rest, buddy. Take a break for now." He recalled Electabuzz into its Pokéball, turning to Whitney. "Thanks for the practice battles. They've been a big help."

Whitney smiled warmly. "Anytime. It's fun to see how much you've improved since we were kids. Just don't get cocky, alright?"

Haru laughed. "Me? Cocky? Never."

Whitney raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced, but her smile remained. "Sure, sure. Let's see how humble you stay after you beat a few more gym leaders."

As they walked back to the house, Haru couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence. His team was stronger than ever, and with Whitney by his side, he knew he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.

Few minutes later.

Haru looked at Meowth. "Electabuzz wants to evolve again already".

Meowth looked at him. "Yeah Boss, as she says, 'I will show up my rival Marshtomp that I am the best member in Haru team', her words not me".

Haru then used his Aura to check Electabuzz as he knows all the moved, but he then check the Pokédex to not be suspicious.

Electabuzz - Electric Type

• Type: Electric

• Abilities: Static

• Movies:

° Wild Charge

° Brick Break

° Dig

° Ice Punch

Dig was only there unthle he get the TM for Earthquake and teach to both her and Marshtomp.

Haru looked at Whitney. "You a Machoke that you want to evolve right"

Whitney just looked at him. "Yeah, just ask the Professor for Electrizer and we can trade and then trade back".

Haru nodded, pulling out his Pokégear and calling Professor Elm. The Professor's face appeared on the screen, and he greeted Haru with his usual enthusiasm.

"Haru! Good to see you. How's your journey going?" Elm asked.

"It's going great, Professor," Haru replied. "Electabuzz wants to evolve, and I was wondering if you could send over an Electrizer. Oh, and Whitney needs to evolve her Machoke too. We'll need your help for a trade."

Professor Elm smiled. "Of course! I'll send the Electrizer to the Pokécenter in Goldenrod City right away. You can handle the trade there."

"Thanks, Professor. I'll head there now," Haru said, ending the call.

Whitney crossed her arms with a playful smirk. "You're really going all out for your Electabuzz, huh?"

Haru shrugged. "If Electabuzz wants to prove herself, I'm not going to hold her back. Besides, I think it's about time she reaches her full potential."

Whitney chuckled. "Well, you'd better keep up with me. My Machoke won't lose to your Electivire."

Haru grinned. "Challenge accepted."

At the Goldenrod City Pokécenter, Haru and Whitney used the trading machine under Nurse Joy's supervision. Haru attached the Electrizer to Electabuzz, and with a flash of light during the trade, Electabuzz evolved into Electivire. On the other side of the machine, Whitney's Machoke evolved into a Machamp.

Electivire stood tall, electricity crackling from its tails. It flexed its powerful arms, letting out a roar of triumph. Haru couldn't help but beam with pride.

"Electivire, you look amazing! We're unstoppable now!"

Electivire turned to Haru with a determined nod, its eyes blazing with competitive fire.

Whitney looked at her Machamp, who was flexing all four arms with confidence. "Looks like we've both got some powerhouses now. This'll be fun."

Haru smirked. "You're on. Let's see who's got the stronger evolved Pokémon."

Whitney then looked at Haru. "Ok time to trade back"

As then they trade back, Haru got back his Electivire and Whitney for back her Machamp.

Meowth then looked at Whitney. "Hey, I am questioning, why does a Normal type Gym Leader have a Machamp".

Whitney looked at Meowth. "To make fun of trainer that can just think they can walk up to my gym, and destroy my team with there strong fighting types, I am talking about the one with 5 to 8 badge"

James just looked at her. "Yeah, no wonder why you are called Gate Keeper".

Haru then pulled Whitney close to him. "And this Gate Keeper is now mine".

Whitney's face turned red at Haru's bold declaration, and she playfully shoved him. "You don't have to say it like that in front of everyone, you know!"

Meowth smirked. "Boss is really leaning into this whole 'romantic lead' thing, huh?"

James chuckled. "I think he's enjoying it a little too much."

Whitney crossed her arms, still flustered. "Anyway, I earned that title fair and square. My Miltank and Machamp combo has crushed plenty of overconfident trainers. They underestimate me just because I'm not a late-game Gym Leader."

Haru grinned. "Well, those trainers obviously didn't know who they were up against. You're a powerhouse, Whitney. That's one of the things I love about you."

Whitney's blush deepened, but she quickly composed herself. "Flattery will only get you so far, Haru."

Jessie, standing off to the side, rolled her eyes. "Ugh, can you two save the mushy stuff for later? Some of us are trying to eat here."

Whitney smirked, leaning into Haru. "Jealous much?"

Jessie scoffed. "Hardly. I'm just saying, you two could tone it down a bit."

Haru ignored Jessie's comment, pulling Whitney closer. "Come on, let's head back. I still need to finalize my strategy for the next Gym, and I'm sure Whitney wouldn't mind helping me out."

Whitney nodded. "You bet I will. After all, I need to make sure my boyfriend's team is up to par before he faces the real challenges."

As the group headed back, Haru couldn't help but feel content. Between his strong team, his evolving relationships, and his growing bond with Whitney, he felt like he was on top of the world.

They came back to Haru house, as Whitney looked at him.

As Haru looked at him. "I going to Ecruteak City to battle Morthy".

Whitney looked at her. "And your team"

Haru looked at her. "Will Electivire, Houndour and Meowth".

Meowth stopped eating as he looked at Haru, as Haru looked back at him. "You have bite, iron tail and your a normal type, if you don't want to fight I will sent out Marshtomp or even Scizor".

Whitney looked at him. "That is my question why not just use Scizor".

Haru looked at her and spoke. "Simple explanations, the gym will destroy, I am coming for my 3rd badge with a fully evolved fully EV and IV trained Pokémon which moves are may I remind you, Bullet Punch, Sword Dance, Aerial Ace and Bug Bite".

Whitney crossed her arms, nodding thoughtfully. "Yeah, that does sound like overkill. Poor Morty wouldn't stand a chance if you used Scizor."

Meowth, still chewing on a piece of food, muttered, "Yeah, I'll fight. I ain't scared of no ghosts. Just don't expect me to be some kinda hero, boss."

Haru smirked at Meowth's determination. "That's the spirit. Besides, your Bite will come in handy. And don't forget, ghosts can't even touch you with their usual moves since you're a Normal type."

Whitney chuckled. "So you're bringing Electivire, Houndour, and Meowth. I guess that's a solid team for Morty's Gym. Houndour's Dark typing alone should give him trouble."

Haru nodded. "Exactly. Electivire's Ice Punch and Brick Break can handle any curveballs he throws in, like Mismagius or Drifblim. Houndour will deal with most of his team, and Meowth's there as backup if things get tricky."

Whitney tilted her head. "You've really thought this through. Are you sure you don't want a fourth Pokémon as insurance?"

Haru shook his head. "Nah, three's enough. Over-preparing would take the fun out of it. I need to challenge myself and let my team grow naturally."

Whitney gave him a sly smile. "You're confident, I'll give you that. But don't underestimate Morty. He's no pushover."

Haru smirked. "I wouldn't dream of it. By the time I'm done, though, he'll know why I'm aiming to be one of the best."

Whitney leaned in, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Well, good luck. Just don't forget to visit me before you leave for the next city."

Haru chuckled and pulled her into a quick hug. "Of course. You're my good luck charm, after all."

As the group settled back into the house, the atmosphere was lighthearted, with Haru's determination radiating through. He knew Ecruteak City would be a challenge, but he was ready to face it head-on.
