Pokemon - A real story

That was an interesting proposal. Steven also wanted to compete with these 2 and having a Pokemon would give him a fresh start to apply all the knowledge that he had received from Axel.

"Ok, I will do it too. But I cannot take Aron as I already have an Aggron.", said Steven.

"Then what Pokemon would you take?", asked Axel.

"I will take a Lileep.", said Steven after some consideration.

Lileep was the pre-evolved form of Cradily. Axel didn't know how powerful it was in real life but if it was raised by Steven, it would be a good Pokemon to fight with.

Cynthia obviously chose her Aron egg from the monstrous potential. She was not stupid like Axel to choose from the advanced Pokemon egg section. Well, at least that was what she was thinking. In her mind, she had already won the future battle.

Frankly, Axel would not have attempted to take this route if he didn't have his talent and his system. His talent allowed his Pokemons to grow stronger, so he knew that even with low potential, Aron could rise up faster or in compared to Pokemon with monstrous potential.

Both Cynthia and Steven chose their Pokemons and surprisingly, all of their incubator time was 14 days. So, all of their Pokemons would be born on the same day.

Axel also wanted to see how good he was compared to Cynthia. Now he could not complain that Cynthia had more resources and guidance than Axel. Axel was also rich and he also had his connections. Of course, the family of Cynthia was richer but that didn't matter to this issue.

Even with all his cheats and his system, Cynthia could compete with him toe to toe. So, it was very interesting to compete in all fairness.

They did went to talk with the parents of the egg and easily got the permission. The parents would normally want their Pokemons to be protected. So, they would prefer a stronger trainer to look after their kids and since all of them were strong, none of them had any problem.

"So, when will you be going out of this island?", asked Cynthia to Steven and Axel.

"I would most likely go tomorrow.", replied Axel.

Axel also got all the training manuals of Steven and of Devon Corporation for Aron. So, he had already done all the things that he needed to do on this island.

Axel had a lot of things to do right now. First of all, he needed to make some training plans for 3 Magnemites. He also needed to think about his older Pokemons. Most of them were training on their own right now, he now needed to guide them.

There were a lot of things to be done. But first, he needed to go to Aeus Island. It was now time to get Gyarados and Steelix. It was also time for him to talk to Lucario and get some information about the mega-evolution. He had been holding it for quite some time.

Axel had already been delayed by a month and he didn't want to delay it any longer.

They had made some progress on the move mastery. Magmenite was an electric/steel type Pokemon and since its final evolution was not a regular evolution, it could be evolved during pseudo-king rank and then it could have both of the core mastery without any risk.

This was Axel's plan. He was not worried that it would be slow in growing up. Frankly, he was not worried about the speed of his Pokemon's growth. He only said it to Charizard and the team cause he wanted to motivate them. The point was to have their foundation strong enough.

"Now, all of your training should be the same from now on. I want all of you to compete with each other. You have to focus on your ability mastery, your moves mastery, and your body stats mastery.

However, your priority would be to focus on 'Thunder wave', 'Metal sound', 'Electric terrain', and 'Iron defense'. When all of these moves reach level 39, then I will give you further instructions.

I have also noticed that you are only training yourself but now have sparing matches. So, from now on, everyone would have a sparing match with the same rank of Pokemon and higher rank Pokemons in another day."

Wartortle was already going strong. Axel also told it to first concentrate on its body stats cause they were the most important. He also told it to further master the moves and especially focus on moves like 'Rain dance'.

"Now, it is time to see the hidden power of all of you.", said Axel with a smile.

Wartortle and Magnemites still had to know their hidden power typing. He wanted them to have the typing that would compliment their original typing. However, all of this was based on luck but he was very hopeful today.

Wartortle was especially excited to know its hidden typing. It had heard that this would make it stronger than before. So, of course, it wanted to try it.

After Axel was kidnapped, the thinking of many of his Pokemons had changed. They knew that if they were not powerful enough, they would not be able to defend their trainer.

So, most of them have been working a lot and training a lot. Such was the case for Wartortle too.

Axel rubbed his nonexistent beard on his chin and thought about this revelation. Steel type was not so bad for Wartortle. Steel type was the ideal type for any Pokemon that would focus on defending and tanking. It had lots of resistance too. Yet, Axel didn't know if the resistance would apply to the Pokemon when hidden power mastery reached 100%. But there was a possibility for it.

It was now time for 3 Magnemites to know about their hidden power typing.

This was going to be very confusing now. All 3 of them had different hidden typing and Axel didn't know what would its hidden typing be after all of them merged.

Axel could not even ask this question to others and the matter of hidden typing was something personal. He had shared it with Red, Agnes, Noah, Oak, and other close people but they could never activate the hidden power typing tab for some reason.

So Axel felt that this was something that the system had gifted him.

"I will let all of them master hidden power typing to 100% before they merge. Then I will see what happens. Since it is the gift of the system, if something bad were to happen, the system would send me an alert."

But there was another problem. The progress of hidden power was very slow. Till now, none of his Pokemons had been able to master it to 100%. Axel also felt that the Pokemon should reach a certain rank to have a certain mastery of hidden power.

So, he decided that for the 3 of them, he would also focus on hidden power mastery.

As he was making those plans, Primeape came near to him and started to say something.

"What? Are you sure about it?", asked Axel.

Primeape nodded its head.

"Ok, then. Let's get ready.", said Axel and got all the resources that he needed.

Primeape had basically said that it was ready to create its own defensive move. It had been training on it for quite some time and this was the last condition for its rank up.

"Ok, just do as you remember. First of all, try to make your stance clear and sturdy. Good.. Now call out that fighting-type energy and shield your whole body. Remember, you should be able to manipulate it as much as you can."

Axel started to give it some instructions. Of course, it could not properly be completed on the first try.

"Don't worry. We will get there today. Now, rest for some time and close your eyes. Meditate and cool your mind. Try to think why you failed. You know why you did. Next time we will improve on it.", said Axel.

Primeape tried to do everything that Axel had said. It took some time but after 2 hours of repeatedly training on this move, finally,

"Don't worry, it would happen and once it happens, you just have to hold on to that feeling.", said Axel to Primeape.

Primeape took a deep breath and spread his legs. It closed its eyes and positioned its arms in a cross manner. Then the weight on its legs suddenly increased as a red color aura started to surround its whole body. Before, the red-colored aura would cover its whole body and then it would instantly disappear.

But this time, it didn't. The aura started to be absorbed in its body and started to harden and perfectly position on its whole body.
