NOVEL NEXT Chapter 5: Chapter 3
[2 years later]
2 years have gone by since Grandpa Gohan died and Goku has been living with no one but himself he hasn't grown much he is still 4 ft tall at 16
Goku stood in the woods, sweat dripping from his brow as he swung his power pole with power, each movement making a swish sound. After one final, powerful swing, he paused, panting heavily, his stomach growling loudly.
He grinned, wiping his forehead. "Guess it's time for a snack," he muttered, eyes sparkling with excitement. "Better catch me some fish!" With that, he runs off toward the nearest stream, his hunger pushing him forward ready to eat.
Goku stood at the edge of the stream, eyes locked on the shimmering fish swimming just beneath the surface. His stomach growled again, louder this time, as his mouth watered at the thought of the fish he could eat. He couldn't help but drool as he imagined how delicious they would taste.
Without a second thought, he stripped off his clothes and dipped his tail into the water, wiggling it playfully. The movement sent ripples across the stream, catching the attention of the fish below. But as he waited, something shifted in the water—a dark shape growing larger, much larger than any fish he'd ever seen.
Suddenly, with a powerful splash, a massive fish leaped from the water, its mouth wide open, aiming straight for Goku's tail. His eyes widened in surprise, but in an instant, his reflexes kicked in. "Whoa!" Goku shouted, leaping backward with a burst of speed, narrowly avoiding the giant creature's jaws. He grinned, excited by the challenge. "Now this is going to be a tasty meal"
Goku landed on the ground after his powerful jump, his leg connecting with the giant fish in a quick motion. The impact was so strong that the fish landed with a heavy thud, lifeless, as its massive body lay on the ground. Grinning with satisfaction, Goku quickly grabbed his clothes and pulled them back on, slinging the fish over his shoulder like it was nothing more than a light rock
With a burst of speed, he dashed back to his home, eager to prepare his meal. Once there, he wasted no time. He found a sturdy stick and skewered the fish through its thick body, holding it above a fire he'd quickly started with a few well-placed rocks and a little concentration. The fire crackled and hissed as the fish sizzled, the smell of cooking meat filling the air.
Goku sat cross-legged in front of the fire, his nose twitching as the aroma of the fish hit him. His stomach growled louder than before, and his mouth watered in anticipation. He imagined the juicy, tender meat, hot and cooked to perfection. "This is gonna be so good!" he muttered to himself, barely able to sit still. Every minute seemed to stretch on forever as he stared at the fish, his hunger growing stronger by the second.
Finally, The food was ready to eat Goku quickly grabbed the fish big enough to feed a whole family and was eaten In a matter of minutes by Goku. Goku leaned back, patting his stomach with a satisfied sigh. "That was so good!" he said with a large smile, his hunger temporarily sated. The fire flickered in front of him, the air thick with the lingering scent of the feast.
But as he sat there for a while, the reality began to settle in. He glanced at the pile of bones, and a sense of Hunger washed over him. "Aw man," Goku mumbled, his stomach already grumbling again. "Now I'm kinda getting hungry again."
Goku then goes on his afternoon runs as he starts to run around the island. But when he reaches the beach he sees a turtle looking out at sea. Goku walks up to the turtle hungry but the turtle feels him behind him as it turns his head and looks at Goku
"Hey, could you help me get back home to my master" Shocked stepping back Goku says "You could talk?"
"Yep I can turtles live for a very long time and throughout the years I learned to speak" shock leaving Goku's face "Oh that makes sense so why are you out here" The turtle's face turned sad as he says "Long ago I got lost at seas and I've been gone from home for months"
"Who's your master" Goku replies "his name is Roshi" Goku was filled with surprise "I heard that name before his my grandpa's master"
"Really? Do you know how to get to him?" Turtle asked with hope "ye I do" Goku runs to the house and runs in and goes past a picture of Gohan but he walks back and bows in front of the picture. He continues and goes to a box and opens it
And there are a bunch of magazines that have women on them with xxx on the title but at the bottom, Goku sees a piece of paper
Goku gets a flashback as he remembers Gohan talking about his master
Gohan's voice echoes through Goku's head "A long time ago I was taught by a person named Master Roshi he is a legend in this world and few were ever taught by him before I left he gave me his Vivre card. This paper always points to roshis location"
Goku coming back to reality smiles takes the paper and the box and heads back to the turtle "I have this paper that leads us to Roshi" The turtle's face brightens up with happiness "Really I can hold the paper could you lead me there?" Turtle says hoping Goku will say yes "ye sure but first I need to say goodbye"
Goku heads back home he stands in front of the picture of Granpa Gohan and bows "Thank you Granpa for everything but I need to leave " Goku heads back to the turtle jumps on his back sails out and watches the island where he was raised get smaller and smaller in the distance
After a while, a giant sea king comes from the water teeth showing green skin and red eyes turtle screams "We're going to die it's a sea king" Goku jumped high into the air, the wind rushing past him as he extended his Power Pole. The pole grew to full length in an instant, and Goku swung it down with incredible speed and force. The tip of the pole connected with the Sea King's head with a tremendous thwack, the impact so powerful that the beast was knocked out cold, its massive body crashing back into the water with a giant splash.
The Sea King let out a muffled roar before sinking beneath the waves, dazed and defeated. "That's it?" Goku said disappointed the turtle stayed silent in shock
Eventually, Goku said "Look see an island with a house on it," Goku said pointing "Yes that's my master home" The turtle seeing its home swims faster and lands on the beach
Goku gets off and looks at the home as the door starts to open a small bald kid opens it "Who are you?"
"It's you Krillin," The turtle said with a smile
"You're finally back after months, and who's this guy," Krillin said while pointing at Goku
"he helped me get here with Roshi Vivre card"
"How did he get Roshi Vivre card," Krillin said confused but from behind him an old man with a turtle shell comes forwards
"Thank you for bringing my turtle back after so long my name is Turtle Hermit Roshi," The old man said but he glanced at the pole on Goku's back "How do you have the pole?"
"My grandpa Gohan gave it to me he said you were his master but he died" Goku replied with a frown
"Oh yes I know of his passing when he passed I had his Vivre card and it burned away," Roshi said with the same emotion as Goku
"But for a reward, I give you this" Roshi then screams "Flying Nimbus" As a yellow cloud comes down and hovers. Goku looked at him confused "This you can fly on it but only if you have a pure heart and I have never met anyone who could sit on it" Roshi said
Goku then touches the cloud and then sits on it and to every shock Goku didn't go through it. Goku laughs in excitement fly around on in the cloud but then stops and thanks Roshi "No problem you are Gohans grandson"
Goku then looked at Roshi and asked "Could you train and teach me like how you taught my grandpa" Roshi looked thinking
"I don't know I don't just teach anyone even if you are Gohan's grandson" But then Goku gave Roshi the box and Roshi looked inside
His nose started to bleed and a blush showed on his face "You know what sure you can train under me" Goku smiled and Krillen frowned and the turtle laughed.

This chapter so far I had the most fun and I hit a word count of 1500 and I'm happy about that
