"Let's go, let's do some plundering as well," Li Yuan said as he led his subordinates off the ship to raid Vicks Kingdom.

While the other officers of the Rocks Pirate Group, along with Rocks himself, headed towards the royal palace, Li Yuan veered towards the area where the nobles resided.

Often, the wealth of the nobility could rival or even surpass that of the royal treasury.

"Boss, why aren't we going to the palace? Isn't that where the most treasure is?" Marie asked, puzzled.

"The most treasure may be there, but can you outcompete the other officers and the captain's men for it?" Li Yuan replied. "Instead of competing with them, it's better to loot from the nobility."

"Pirates, don't think about it! This is Duke Satan's territory in Vicks Kingdom. Leave immediately!" 

As soon as Li Yuan and his crew arrived, many kingdom soldiers rushed towards them.

"Scram!"

Seeing these soldiers, Li Yuan snorted coldly, disinclined to speak further. His Conqueror's Haki burst forth, enveloping the entire noble district.

"Bang bang bang bang!!!!"

All the soldiers who tried to stop Li Yuan and his crew, and even those who hadn't arrived yet, as well as everyone in the noble district, were knocked unconscious by his Haki.

"Go ahead, find all the treasure!" Li Yuan smiled slightly, looking at the soldiers who lay unconscious on the ground.

Conqueror's Haki was useful for clearing out riffraff; with one burst, he'd knocked out thousands.

"Charge!!!"

Kano and the others excitedly rushed in to loot the treasures.

Li Yuan, too, charged in with excitement; after all, it was his first time plundering treasure, and he couldn't help but feel thrilled.

"Huh? Could this person be the so-called Duke Satan? He actually tried to escape with all these chests."

Li Yuan spotted a group of soldiers surrounding a man in noble attire, running towards the royal palace of Vicks Kingdom, but they were knocked out halfway by his Haki.

"Crack!"

Without a word, Li Yuan approached and opened one of the chests.

"It's all gold."

The first chest was filled with gold, worth about 100 million Berries.

The second chest contained silver, worth around 30 million.

The third chest held jewelry, valued at roughly 50 million.

The fourth chest had antiques and paintings, of unknown value.

"Huh, a Devil Fruit!"

Upon opening the fifth chest, he found a Devil Fruit, one he recognized from the Devil Fruit guide provided by Rocks.

"The Paramecia-type Dice-Dice Fruit!"

Upon seeing the Devil Fruit, Li Yuan immediately knew its details. It was a Paramecia-type fruit that allowed the user to turn their entire body into blades—an ideal fruit for a swordsman.

"In the original story, it was obtained by Mr. 1 of Crocodile's Baroque Works. I didn't expect to find it here," Li Yuan mused as he stored the Devil Fruit, planning to use it to train a subordinate.

Having secured this valuable treasure, Li Yuan saw no need to continue searching; the most precious loot was with Duke Satan.

"Senior Brother, we've gathered all the loot!" Kano and many junior brothers returned with their spoils, smiles on their faces indicating a fruitful haul.

"Kano, this is a Paramecia-type Dice-Dice Fruit. It can turn your body into blades and unleash sword-like slashes. Do you want to eat it?" Li Yuan offered the fruit to Kano.

With Kano's talent, reaching the level of a swordsman or a rear admiral was his maximum potential, and achieving that would take at least ten to twenty years.

For Kano to quickly enhance his strength, a Devil Fruit was a viable route.

Li Yuan had no doubts about Kano's loyalty, which is why he wanted to boost Kano's power. He needed a trustworthy person to handle affairs for him.

That person could be Kano or Karl, but Kano and Karl were too weak, so Li Yuan aimed to quickly enhance their strength.

"Senior Brother, is this really for me?" Kano asked, almost disbelieving as he eyed the Devil Fruit in Li Yuan's hand.

This was a Devil Fruit, a rare treasure of the sea, highly coveted and especially valuable for a swordsman. There weren't many like it in the entire world.

"It's yours if you want it. If you don't, I'll give it to Karl," Li Yuan teased, seeing Kano's wide-open mouth.

"I'll eat it, of course! Only a fool wouldn't," Kano said eagerly.

He knew well the gap between himself and his senior brother. No matter how hard he worked, reaching his brother's initial level seemed impossible.

But he didn't give up, choosing to follow his senior brother out to sea and help him with tasks.

He believed that with his senior brother, he would have a good future and become strong.

He never imagined that in less than six months at sea, his senior brother would give him a precious Devil Fruit that perfectly suited him!

Li Yuan's observation haki sensed Kano's increasing goodwill, second only to Shakky and Razili.

"Here you go, eat up!" Li Yuan said, handing the Devil Fruit to Kano.

"Ugh!!!!"

Kano eagerly took a bite, but the taste was so revolting it almost made him vomit his breakfast.

"Don't spit it out, and eat the whole fruit; otherwise, the ability might weaken," Li Yuan said, recalling something amusing as he fibbed.

"I'll eat it!!!"

Hearing Li Yuan's words, Kano's face turned even greener.

But for his future and not to waste the fruit, he forced himself to swallow the entire thing.

"Ugh!!!"

Barely managing to finish the fruit, Kano was left retching and unsteady on his feet.
