NOVEL NEXT Chapter 16: Five new devil fruits
When Oliver, Baki, and Naruto entered the room where the heavenly tribute was stored, they widened their eyes in shock upon seeing all treasures and money stored in the room.
Oliver whistled in appreciation upon seeing all the treasures and money, but Baki yelled in disbelief, "Holy sh*t, how much money and treasure is in here?"
Oliver smirked when heard Baki's question and he answered him, "around 5,000,000,000 B."
When Baki and Naruto heard what Oliver just said, they turned their heads and looked at Oliver, and then they yelled in shock in unison, "5,000,000,000 B."
Oliver chuckled when he heard this and nodded his head. He then said to them, "My father told me that the heavenly tribute that kingdoms need to pay is 5,000,000,000 B so that they could gain the protection of the Marine."
Naruto and Baki were surprised by the information they just heard, then Oliver noticed a peculiar-looking fruit among the treasures. He walked towards the fruit and picked it up.
He smirked widely when he picked the fruit Baki and Naruto noticed the fruit and their eyes widened when they saw it.
"A devil fruit." Naruto exclaimed loudly, and Baki nodded his head. he then asked Oliver, "What kind of devil fruit is this?"
Oliver shook his head and said, "No idea; we need the devil fruit encyclopedia to determine what kind of fruit this is."
The fruit is the size of an orange; however, the fruit looked like a pink crystal ball full of swirls.
Both Naruto and Baki nodded their heads in understanding after hearing what Oliver just said.
Oliver then turned his head and looked at them. He then said to them, "I will go and bring my boat here and bring all our supplies to this ship; then we will use this ship to sail to the desolate kingdom."
Baki nodded his head and said to Oliver, "Alright, leave guarding this ship to me."
Oliver then put the devil fruit into his pocket exited the room. His white wings popped out from his back, and he flew with incredible speed towards his boat.

After Oliver packed up all the supplies, his stuff, and Baki's stuff from the rooms, he said to the system, "System, I want to claim all my rewards now."

Suddenly a devil fruit appeared from thin air in front of Oliver. The devil fruit was scarlet in color, full of swirls, and the fruit is in the shape of a peach.
Oliver then heard the system saying to him in his head.
Congratulations, host, you have acquired the Double Double fruit. It is a Paramecia devil fruit type. the user of this fruit can double anything they want.
When Oliver heard this, his eyes widened in shock. "This devil fruit is very versatile; I must be so lucky in this new life to acquire this fruit."
Without warning, Oliver felt an incredible amount of pain in every cell in his body. He fell on his knees and started gritting his teeth in pain.
Oliver refused to scream in pain, and he continued enduring the pain he was experiencing.
All of a sudden, his Lunarian wings burst out from his back, along with the Lunarian fire plume that suddenly appeared in Oliver's upper back.
"CRACK, CRACK."
Oliver's skin started to crack like a glass, and his blood started seeping out from those cracks.
After ten minutes of enduring the pain, the pain that Oliver was experiencing ceased, and his body started healing at an incredible rate.
After five minutes, Oliver's body was completely healed, and Oliver heard the system saying to him in his head.
Congratulations, host, your physique had evolved from an innate strength physique to a heavenly innate strength physique.
Oliver started examining his body and started clenching his fists. He smiled widely at how strong his body had become; he felt his body was three times stronger than before.
Oliver saw his muscles grow at least three times their previous size.
He then asked the system, "System, what is the difference between the innate strength physique and the heavenly innate strength physique?"
Oliver then heard the system answering his question.
The heavenly innate strength physique is a superior physique than the innate strength physique. Every cell in the host's body is three times stronger than before. When the host trains his body in the future, the host's body will get stronger three times faster than in the past, and the host's body will recover three times faster than when you possessed the innate strength physique.
Oliver smiled widely when he heard this. He then nodded his head in understanding. He quickly picked up the bags and the devil fruit he just received from the system, then hid his Lunarian wings in his back, summoned his white wings, and flew towards the ship.

After storing the supplies and their personal stuff, the trio headed to the kitchen, and Oliver started preparing some snacks. his eyes suddenly widened in shock when he checked on the fruits stored in the kitchen because he saw three devil fruits among the fruits in the fridge.
One of the devil fruit has the shape of a lion head and has swirls all around the fruit.
The fruit color was brown and yellow.
The second devil fruit is shaped like mango; it's color is similar to the color of snake scales, and the fruit is full of swirls all around.
The last devil fruit looked like kiwi but it is black color, and it was full of swirls.
Oliver took a deep breath to calm himself down and then said to Baki and Naruto, "Baki, Naruto, look at what I found."
Baki and Naruto turned their heads, and their eyes widened in shock when they saw Oliver was holding three devil fruits.
Baki and Naruto then calmed themselves down, and they exclaimed loudly to Oliver, "Devil fruits."
Naruto then asked Oliver, "What kind of devil fruits are they?"
Oliver shook his head and answered Naruto's question, "Not sure, but if I guess correctly, I think they are Zoan devil fruits: the lion fruit, cobra fruit, and the bear fruit."
When Baki heard this, he raised his eyebrows and asked Oliver, "Aren't those devil fruits wielded by the Zhang soldiers we fought against before we saved Naruto?"
Oliver nodded his head to Baki, and he started explaining to him and Naruto, "Yes, the reason behind my guess is because we killed those three before we saved Naruto."
"According to what my father told me about the devil fruits, when a devil fruit wielder dies, the devil fruit will reincarnate somewhere in the world. I guess we were just really lucky that the devil fruit reincarnated in one of the fruits that we have."
Both Baki and Naruto smirked when they heard this, and then Naruto asked Oliver, "So captain, what are you planning to do with those devil fruits?"
Oliver thought for a moment, and then he answered Naruto honestly, "Well, right now we are not short of money, so I'll keep these devil fruits and give it to those who will join our crew in the future."
Baki and Naruto nodded their heads in approval, and Oliver continued, "So Naruto, are you interested in eating one of these devil fruits we have right now? We have 5 devil fruits."
Baki was surprised when he saw Oliver taking out another two devil fruits from his pocket, he then said in a very surprise tone, "we really have 5 devil fruits, and why do you want Naruto to eat a devil fruit?"
Oliver shook his head when he heard Baki's question and answered Baki, saying, "I am only giving Naruto a choice, just like I gave you when I first invited you to join me; whether Naruto chooses to eat the devil fruit or not, it is his own decision."
Baki nodded after hearing what Oliver just said, Oliver then showed Baki the devil fruit that the system rewarded him: "This fruit is called the double double fruit. That I found before I met you, the user of this fruit can double anything they want. This fruit is the devil fruit that I was planning to give you when I asked you to join me, but you said to me that you didn't want to be a devil fruit user."
Baki nodded his head after he remembered that, then Oliver handed the devil fruits to Naruto, and he then said to him, "Naruto, you can choose whatever devil fruit you want to eat, but let me make things clear to you before you decide which devil fruit you should eat."
Naruto listened carefully to what Oliver was about to say, and Oliver continued, "You can only eat one devil fruit; if you eat two devil fruits, you will die."
Both Baki and Naruto were shocked at what they just heard, and Baki asked, "If he ate two devil fruits, will he really die?"
Oliver nodded his head and explained, "Yes, my father told me that a person can eat only one devil fruit; if someone eats two devil fruits, they will definitely die."
Naruto looked at the devil fruits in his hands; he was hesitant, and Oliver noticed his hesitation and said to Naruto, "If you don't want to eat a devil fruit, you don't need to force yourself, Naruto. I am only giving you a choice."
Naruto shook his head, and after a moment he said to Oliver, "I need to get stronger so as to not be a burden to you, captain, and to Baki. If eating a devil fruit is the path that I need to take to get stronger, so be it, but right now I am not sure which devil fruit I should eat."
Baki and Oliver nodded their head after hearing Naruto's explination then Oliver replied, "in that case I think you should wait I plan to buy Devil Fruits encyclopedia in the future, with the help of the Devil Fruits encyclopedia we will be able to identify devil fruits that we have. and you will be able to choose the best devil fruit that suits you."
Naruto smiled and nodded his head he then said to Oliver, "that good idea captain."
Oliver nodded his head while smiling he then said to Naruto, "alright Naruto can you go and store the devil fruits in the room where the heavenly tribute is stored."
Naruto smiled to Oliver he quickly exited the kitchen while carrying the devil fruits and stored them in the same room that the heavenly tribute is kept.
