Akira followed the scent and spotted Robin's mother, Olvia, standing on the edge of a rockery not far away. Her expression was conflicted, as if debating whether to approach or not.

"Akira, it's late. Why aren't you asleep yet?"

Realizing she had been noticed, Olvia no longer hesitated. After taking a deep breath, she approached with determination and greeted him.

"Just had something on my mind. What about you?"

"Same here."

"Oh." Akira nodded lightly and asked casually, "How's staying at the Vice Admiral's mansion with Dr. Clover going?"

When Akira brought them back from Enies Lobby, the Fleet Admiral's mansion had been full with other family members. Despite Dr. Clover's age, Robin cleverly arranged for him to stay at the Vice Admiral's mansion, where Akira used to live. It was unoccupied now, making it a good place for them to stay temporarily.

As for Olvia, she often came to spend time with Robin and build a relationship. Staying there had become part of her daily routine. Akira didn't mind at all and actually welcomed it, especially since Robin had been in great spirits ever since Olvia's arrival.

"It's fine, but we're planning to leave."

Olvia sat down across from Akira and added, "We're leaving tomorrow."

"Alright. Safe travels! If I may offer some advice, don't join the pirates again."

Akira didn't need to think too much about it—he knew that these two, driven by their passion for archaeology, would likely head to Raftel to search for the Poneglyphs. But they were adults, and they had to understand the consequences of their choices.

Just because he was able to help once at Enies Lobby didn't mean he could always come to their aid. His advice was a subtle way of expressing his concerns.

Joining a pirate crew wasn't the best decision either. Reaching Raftel required the Road Poneglyphs, two of which were in the hands of Big Mom and Kaido. Only a pirate of Whitebeard's level could hope to challenge them.

For anyone else, it would be impossible. Sometimes, it was better to stay out of trouble.

Olvia, being sharp, quickly grasped Akira's underlying message, and her expression froze for a moment.

The courtyard fell into a deep silence.

After a long pause...

"I have work tomorrow, so I'll head back first."

Seeing that Olvia had no intention of leaving, Akira had no choice but to get up. He needed some peace and quiet to think about his next move, but her lingering presence, even in silence, distracted him.

"Akira!" Olvia called out urgently as he began to walk away. "Aren't you at all curious about Raftel?"

"Don't you want to know what happened during that blank hundred years? The World Government has been hiding it all this time—it's something that would shake the very foundation of their 800 years of rule."

Akira stopped in his tracks.

Olvia's eyes were filled with hope.

Finally, he turned and asked, "What exactly are you getting at?"

"I beg you, can you help us? Help us find Raftel." Olvia's hands were clenched tightly, her eyes pleading. She knew full well the dangers of this world and understood that scholars alone could never break through the Grand Line, let alone find Raftel. The place had remained a mystery, visited only by the Pirate King, Roger, in over 800 years. Even sea monsters and powerful figures struggled to locate it.

And if anyone else in the world knew of Raftel besides the late Roger, it would be the Marine Fleet Admiral standing before her.

"I'm a Marine. The Five Elders won't be too happy if they find out I'm helping you," Akira replied, a strange smile forming at the corner of his mouth as if some amusing thought had crossed his mind.

"I don't think you're afraid of that," Olvia said confidently. "From the moment you sold that clue, I knew you weren't just any ordinary Marine."

"Interesting... Olvia!" Akira returned to his seat and stared at her intensely. "I find you intriguing as a woman."

"Does that mean you're agreeing?" she asked, her voice tinged with hope.

"Let's make a deal. What will you offer in return?" Akira tapped the stone surface with his finger, his eyes gleaming behind his glasses. "I don't want berries. Let me think it over, and I'll give you an answer."

The blank hundred years of history certainly intrigued Akira. He didn't know the specifics, but if it was enough to make the Five Elders nervous, it was worth pursuing. His goal was clear: to take down the Five Elders and Im. Whatever they supported, he would oppose. Whatever they fought against, he would stand behind.

While Akira was deep in thought, he didn't notice Olvia's expression shift.

By the time he snapped out of it, her hand was already resting on his, placing it over her chest. Though her face was flushed, and even her earlobes were red, her voice remained firm.

"As long as you help us, I'll let you do anything. I won't complain."

Akira blinked, taken aback. Those words… they sounded all too familiar.

Wait. Had she learned this from Rouge?
