----------

Marineford.

Fleet Admiral's residence.

The space cracked again, and a stone gate appeared, stretching across the room.

Akira stepped out of it.

"It's only been two hours."

He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall and frowned slightly.

When he was pulled into the cracked space before, he checked the time.

Back then, it was past 2 a.m., but now it was a little after 4 a.m.

The system hadn't lied to him.

Two years in the world of Demon Slayer, yet only two hours had passed in the One Piece world.

After confirming this, Akira let out a sigh of relief.

If he had been deceived by the system's rewards and disappeared for two years, he wouldn't know what state the Marines would be in when he returned.

The Five Elders wouldn't credit his achievements and would likely have immediately arranged for a new Fleet Admiral to take his place.

"Master, is this world the one you live in?"

A tall, black-haired young man with a pale complexion and plum red eyes stepped out from the darkness behind him.

"Hmm!" Akira nodded lightly, glanced at him, and asked, "Muzan, do you feel anything different?"

Muzan checked his body and shook his head. "No, everything feels as strong as ever."

"Good. It seems I really can bring you all out."

Akira stroked his chin, turning to look at the slightly open stone gate, his eyes flickering.

Although this unexpected trip to the world of Demon Slayer was accidental, it had given him a deep understanding of the stone gate.

Its function was simple.

——Inject a large amount of physical strength to open a passage to another world.

The larger the gap in the stone gate, the stronger the combat power of that world would be.

In other worlds, not only could he enjoy their unique experiences, but there were also clear advantages.

First, he could bring out powerful beings from those worlds to serve him faithfully.

Second, he could train in those worlds and learn new abilities, further improving his own strength.

Clang.

With this in mind, Akira unsheathed his Nichirin Sword from his waist.

As he focused, lightning of various shapes suddenly appeared in the room.

Thunder Breathing. (T/N: Lets Goo!!!! This is my favorite one)

A feature of combat power from the world of Demon Slayer.

"This fills a gap in my abilities."

A smirk played on Akira's lips.

In addition to Haki, Devil Fruits, and the Six Styles, the One Piece world also had formidable swordsmanship with great potential.

He hadn't had much time to dive into swordsmanship before.

Originally, Gion was supposed to be his swordsmanship instructor, but it took too long to master Haki, and he needed her combat strength later on.

Thus, the training was delayed.

However, what he couldn't achieve with Gion, he found in the world of Demon Slayer, where he learned all the breathing techniques.

He had already tested the power of this sword technique.

It was both practical and powerful.

Breathing techniques, when fully concentrated, could greatly enhance physical abilities in an instant and boost the damage of various sword moves.

Even though Akira's physical prowess was already at the emperor level, once he used the breathing method, all his stats were further enhanced.

After all, this breathing technique was a combat supplement.

It scaled with the user's own abilities.

For example, if the basic value of a member of the Demon Slayer Corps is 1, the breathing technique can temporarily boost their strength to somewhere between 3 and 10.

And if a Hashira has a basic value of 10, the breathing technique would increase their strength to a range of 50 to 100.

"Alright, Muzan, you can go back for now."

Akira snapped back to reality, eyes fixed on the stone gate as he ordered, "I'll call for you when I need you."

"As you wish, master."

Muzan, who had been silently standing by, not daring to interrupt Akira's thoughts, immediately bowed and nodded. He then walked toward the gap in the stone gate.

With a flash of light, he vanished from sight.

Akira made a gesture.

The stone gate immediately closed, sealing the gap completely.

It transformed into a beam of colorful light that plunged into Akira's consciousness, settling inside.

Phew!

Akira exhaled slowly, not feeling the least bit tired.

He decided to push open the door and step outside.

The entire Fleet Admiral's mansion was quiet, with lights off in every room—everyone was asleep.

Akira didn't want to disturb them. He walked into the courtyard and sat down on a stone chair.

Looking up at the moon, he tapped his fingers rhythmically on the stone table.

"If nothing unexpected happens, the Five Elders will send a CP0 to take control of Marine finances either tomorrow or the next day."

"To restore their order…"

"Turning the Marines…"

"Back into their obedient dogs."

Akira's face darkened slightly.

If he hadn't become Fleet Admiral, he wouldn't have cared.

Back then, he didn't see the Marines as his home, merely using them as a stepping stone in his search for Devil Fruits.

Whether the Marines were dogs or humans didn't matter; he had just been a laborer.

But now, as Fleet Admiral, with the system active, if the Marines were reduced to being dogs, what did that make him?

The 'dog king'?

Akira glanced at the second page of the system.

[Ultimate Mission 2: Confront the Five Elders face to face with, "Who do you think you are?" They must not retaliate directly. (Complete with a prize)]

"Talking back is the easy part—it's just words."

"The hard part is making sure they're too incompetent to retaliate and too scared to face me directly."

Akira sighed, rubbing his brow in frustration.

After completing the third ultimate mission, he knew how strict the system's judgment could be.

Even though the number of pirates had drastically decreased thanks to powerful replicas, and the Cipher Pol agents had solid data proving the Great Pirate Era was ending, the system refused to acknowledge it.

It wasn't until Rayleigh was captured and 'One Piece' was destroyed that the mission was considered complete.

So, for the second ultimate mission, Akira knew it was crucial that the Five Elders were both enraged and incapable of directly confronting him.

Akira rested his head against his right fist, lost in thought.

Time passed, minute by minute.

A cool sea breeze stirred Akira's hair.

Suddenly, his sharp sense of smell detected a familiar scent.

"Olvia?"
