One Piece: A Side Story – The Forgotten Isle

Chapter 60: One Piece: A Side Story – The Forgotten Isle (Part 60)

The crew huddled around the ancient map, its surface worn and faded but still legible. Strange symbols covered its edges, unlike anything they had seen before. At its center, a series of lines and markings formed a route leading deep into uncharted waters.

Nami traced the path with her finger, her brow furrowed in concentration. "This map is incredibly old… but the route is clear. It leads somewhere far beyond any known island."

Robin studied the symbols carefully. "These markings aren't just directions. They're warnings." She pointed to a cluster of ancient glyphs near the map's edge. "It mentions a guardian and a trial… as if this map is a key to something hidden, something dangerous."

"Great," Usopp groaned, rubbing his temples. "More guardians and trials. Haven't we had enough of that already?"

"But that means there's treasure!" Luffy grinned, his excitement undeterred. "And if there's treasure, we're going after it!"

Sanji smirked, taking a puff of his cigarette. "You're always thinking about treasure, Luffy. What if it's something worse than what we just faced?"

"Then we'll beat it!" Luffy said confidently, his fists clenching. "We're not turning back now."

Zoro nodded in agreement. "We've already come this far. There's no point in backing down."

Chopper tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. "But what kind of treasure would need a map like this? It must be something really valuable."

Robin's eyes darkened slightly. "Or something very dangerous. This map doesn't just lead to a treasure—it leads to something ancient, something that's been hidden for centuries."

Nami folded the map and placed it into her pouch. "Either way, we need to be prepared. Whatever's out there, it's going to be unlike anything we've faced before."

"Let's get back to the ship and set a course," Luffy said, his voice brimming with determination. "We'll follow this map and see where it takes us!"

The crew began to make their way out of the ancient chamber, the heavy atmosphere of the room lifting as they left. As they climbed back onto the deck of the ghostly ship, the sky above had cleared, and the oppressive fog that had surrounded them was now gone.

Standing at the edge of the deck, Nami took a deep breath. "It's strange… the air feels lighter. Almost like the island itself is relieved."

"Maybe it is," Robin said thoughtfully. "Whatever was binding this ship, it's been released. But that only means our real journey is just beginning."

Luffy stood at the bow of the Thousand Sunny, his straw hat casting a shadow over his face. "Let's go, everyone. A new adventure is waiting!"

The crew cheered, their spirits high despite the trials they had just endured. They knew this new journey would be fraught with danger, but they were ready. Together, they would face whatever lay ahead.

As the Thousand Sunny set sail from the forgotten isle, the ancient ship remained behind, its secrets now entrusted to the Straw Hats. The mysterious map, glowing faintly in Nami's pouch, promised an adventure unlike any they had ever known.
