Title:
*BOOM*.
*BOOM*.
*CLANK*.
*CRASH*.
The sound of bodies meeting each other in a clash of fists, palm strikes and kicks rang out from an enclosed door where two hooded individuals stood guard.
Not long after, the sound of weapons followed and after that, a crashing noise followed after which the sounds ceased.
Meanwhile, inside the room, an aged Lucas could be seen standing casually with an amused smile on his face as he observed the 11 year old Aethon climb his way out of the weapon rack he was thrown into.
"Y'know, one day, I'll wipe that smirk off your face, dad." Aethon said as he finally climbed out. Looking at his father's amused smile, he couldn't help the frustration building inside him.
"As your father, nothing will make me prouder, but as you're still a chick, let me have the pleasures of throwing you around as my father did me." Lucas said and snapped his finger causing the door to open as the two hooded figures walked in.
"My Lord." The two figures immediately went on their knees as soon as they entered.
"Have the preparations been made?" Lucas asked as he walked towards a bench to the side and picked up a towel and water bottle and threw them at Aethon.
"Yes, my Lord." One of the figures replied, their voice hoarse making it hard to determine their gender. "The League severed all forms of connection to the Red Room as you ordered."
"It's been 10 years. I do hope nothing will be traced back to us." Lucas muttered to himself as he hydrated himself. "Have two…" he began and then looked at Aethon before shaking his head. "...one of the promising young Shadows came over."
To Lucas' order, the two figures didn't immediately reply but looked at each other. "Is there a problem?" Lucas asked and the other figure who had spoken replied. "The current Shadows haven't completed their initial training. They'll be of little use to you, my Lord."
"When did I ever say I needed a young shadow? Don't I already have you, Aida?" Lucas shook his head in exasperation. "My son needs someone to grow stronger with. Get him one."
There was an imperceptible sigh of relief the two figures let out that made Lucas snicker at their insecurity. They've been with him since his youthful days as the young master alongside the now well aged Allen.
For them to think he was about to replace them was quite amusing in and of itself.
"We'll see to it that the young master has the best shadow." One of the Shadows spoke to which Lucas nodded.
"Good." Lucas said and then turned to Aethon who was sitting cross-legged and meditating by the side without paying much attention to the discussion.
At 11, he already had a demeanor of someone in their late teens. Not to mention his height that made him look like an early teenager, a trait he inherited from Thena.
Mentally, Aethon was already mature enough to know and understand a few things, but that didn't make him antisocial or rude to others, proof of that being-
"AETHON!" A shrill, high-pitched voice rang out from the hallway leading to the room causing the occupants of the room to have varying reactions.
Aethon's eyes snapped open as he shot up from his meditative position with a speed that the two shadows still on their knees couldn't help nodding in approval. "Sharon? What's she doing here?"
"Hehehe. Looks like she's already got you whipped and you're both still kids." Lucas covered his mouth but couldn't hide the mocking smile he wore.
"Heh, who do you think I picked that from?" Aethon shot Lucas a side eye with a disdainful smirk as he quickly ran out of the hall.
As for Lucas, the mocking smile he had, stayed frozen on his face as Aethon's words replayed in his head. 'Who do you think I picked that from?'
"What the hell? Was he referring to me? Huh?" Lucas asked, but just as he turned to his shadows to get an answer from them, they were gone. "Wha-"
…
Meanwhile Aethon ran as his feets could possibly take him - which was quite fast considering his heritage and not long after, the figure of a Petite blonde haired little girl came into view with a young man accompanying her.
"Sha, what are you doing here?" Aethon asked as he came to a halt in front of her and the young man to which he nodded to. "Henry."
"Young master." The young man nodded back respectfully and then turned to Sharon. "I'll be taking my leave now, little miss."
Sharon, who was already pouting, puffed her cheeks out even more in annoyance. "I'm not little, you big meanie."
"Stop it Sha," Aethon raised his head to rub Sharon's head only to have it hit away.
"Even you, how dare you invite me to spend the weekend at your place only to have me wait?" Sharon queried angrily as she glared at Aethon who now had a confused look inX his eyes.
"I invited you?"
"*Gasp!*" Sharon immediately let out a loud gasp as her eyes began to pool with tears. "You- you…you meanie!" saying that, she kicked the unsuspecting Aethon on his sheen before turning and stomping away.
"Ouch!" Despite the initial pain, the view of Sharon stomping away was quite comical causing Aethon to chuckle before chasing after her. "Wait up Sha. I was just messing with you."
"Humph!" Sharon harrumphed loudly and continued to walk away exaggeratedly.
The sight of the two brought smiles to the workers of the mansion. Sharon Carter had been a regular visitor of the Hawthorne mansion.
As Peggy Carter's only niece she was basically treated as the little miss of the mansion due to Peggy's relationship to Lucas.
Growing up, Sharon who had quickly been attached to Aethon from a young age always sought a reason to come visit. Unfortunately for her, similar to Aethon, she was being homeschooled by Peggy herself.
However, while Aethon's home bringing was extreme, consisting of physical training in addition to his education, hers was just about body conditioning.
Lucas knew full well that Peggy had no siblings to speak of, so he had quickly surmised that Sharon was the daughter of a deceased agent Peggy felt responsible for.
Being someone with such a background, it was a given she'd be brought up in a certain way.
The two children soon reached the garden where they usually played together.
Upon reaching, Aethon was met with a still pouting Sharon who had her hands crossed over her chest, but instead of looking intimidating, Aethon only found her to be irresistibly cute.
"You better smile or I'll be forced to pinch your cheeks." Aethon said as he sat down in front of her.
"You wouldn't dare." Sharon narrowed her eyes at Aethon only to be met with a similarly narrowed eyes causing her to flinch and cover her cheeks with her hands. "You meanie!" at this point, tears were already threatening to fall down her eyes.
Aethon laughed heartily and ruffled her hair. "I apologize. You're just too cute to be taken seriously."
"Waa?" Sharon let out inaudibly as her face turned red at being called cute, but as this wasn't the first time, she quickly composed herself and pointed at Aethon. "Don't think that will make me forget the promise you made."
Aethon looked taken aback for a moment before he tilted his head and asked. "What promise?"
"You!" Sharon basically screamed. "You promised to show me that thing you're working on!"
"Did I?"
"You did!"
"Why can't I remember?"
"How am I supposed to know that?"
At this point, Sharon was already red from anger causing Aethon to stop as he knew he had taken it a bit too far. "Alright, alright. I was just messing with you." he said and smiled placatingly.
"You.." Sharon began but deflated as she saw his smile which caused her to blush. "Humph."
"Here." Aethon said and pulled out a wrist watch from his pocket, handed it to her and then stood up. "I need to go freshen up, why don't you play with that till I return. If you can tell me anything interesting about that watch, I'll reward you. How about it?"
"Are you making up stuffs again to buy time? Aunt Peggy says that's not a good way to live." Sharon said with a huff.
"I know. I know. One has to be held accountable for words spoken. My mum won't let me hear the end of it." Aethon rolled his eyes and said. "But really, I'll be back in a jiffy."
"With the thing." Sharon reminded
"With the thing." and Aethon nodded before turning to leave while leaving what could be referred to as a futuristic device in the little Sharon's hands.

Los Angeles, California
Stark Tower
A young, handsome and seemingly charismatic man sat In an office room while going through stacks of papers carelessly placed on the table. One look at the papers and any one not versed in the technological field would probably have a migraine.
As he flipped through the papers, the young man's eyes sparkled with a mix of admiration and excitement.
"Brilliant… absolutely brilliant," he muttered, pausing to study one diagram more closely. "A watch capable of tapping directly into the internet, seamless connectivity, real-time access to global data networks… I didn't even think of that."
He leaned back in his chair, the corners of his mouth twitching into a smile as he continued murmuring to himself. "A wearable interface, sleek design, and compact sensors… this would change everything."
As he flipped another page, he couldn't help but chuckle. "And here I was, thinking I'd exhausted the possibilities for personal tech. Whoever came up with this… they might just be a step ahead of me." He sighed, his tone half-amused, half-competitive. "I might need to meet this person. Wouldn't mind picking their brain… or maybe just buying them out."
He straightened, shuffling the papers into a neater stack, his mind already buzzing with ways to refine and improve upon the concept only to see a name he hadn't thought he'd see there - THEOGON.
"Is that…Aethon?" Tony mumbled to himself.
Earlier this morning, upon entering his office, his secretary had immediately brought him this stack of paper, saying it was dropped off by an important person.
Tony hadn't become the obnoxious play boy billionaire who looked down on most things not his own, so he happily read through it only to be amazed.
To top it off, the designs and specs used for the device were all new…or foreign to him.
"What an interesting way to say you miss your big bro." Tony said and picked up the stack of paper before standing up and making his way out of the office.
"Sir?"
"I'll be out for a bit. Cancel any and all appointments till I return." Tony said without even glancing at the secretary as he made for his private elevator.
