Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The New Body

Jason felt the world around him warp and twist, as if being molded into something new. He had no control over the sensation, and it was terrifying. The next thing he knew, he was standing in a dark room, feeling his body shift and adapt to an entirely different reality. As his senses returned, he realized with a shock that his hands were covered in black, textured clothing—the familiar attire of the Uchiha clan. He looked down and saw the familiar orange mask of Obito Uchiha, a mask that he'd seen countless times in his beloved anime.

"Wait, this... I'm really here?" Jason thought, his heart racing. "I'm... Obito?"

Jason quickly checked his memories. He could recall everything—every twist and turn of Obito's life. His birth in the Uchiha clan, his tragic friendship with Rin, and his betrayal of everything he once believed in. But he was also aware of something deeper, something far darker. He was not just Obito. He had retained his own identity, his memories from the world he once knew. His mind swam with the knowledge of Naruto, of every battle, every strategy, every hidden secret.

But this was no time to gloat. Jason had to focus. He was now Obito, and with that power came enormous responsibility—and danger. His situation was far from perfect. Obito had been crushed by the pain of his life, eventually becoming a villain who sought to reshape the world through manipulation, violence, and destruction. Jason understood that path well, and while part of him still clung to the desire for revenge, another part of him wanted to forge his own legacy—one free of the mistakes of the past.

"I'm in control now," Jason thought with determination. "This time, things will go differently."

The room around him was dimly lit, and Jason could hear the faint sound of people speaking in the distance. He stood still for a moment, trying to focus on his new body. His movements felt awkward at first, but they soon became more fluid as the Uchiha bloodline awakened within him. The Sharingan was within his grasp, though he had to be careful not to use it too recklessly. He needed to understand this world and how best to exploit it.

Slowly, Jason began to walk, his mind racing with ideas. He had the knowledge of Obito's future, but there was no need to repeat the mistakes of his past. He could take control of the world, play the game on his own terms. Jason wasn't interested in the same goals Obito had—he didn't want to control others using the Infinite Tsukuyomi, nor did he want to follow Madara's twisted vision of peace. No, Jason had a far grander plan. He would reshape the entire system and take control of the most powerful factions in this world: the Akatsuki, the villages, and even the Hokage.

But he needed to start small. As a low-level ninja, he had few resources, and his position within the world was weak. He needed to find a way to climb the ranks. He couldn't just announce himself as a power-hungry force. No, he had to manipulate the world around him.

His first goal was simple: survive. Jason's new body, while powerful, was still vulnerable. The world was a dangerous place. In particular, the Hand Ninja—a criminal organization that had been taking in orphaned children and turning them into warriors—was a perfect starting point. It would be a safe haven, at least for the time being. He could train, gather resources, and, if need be, eliminate threats quietly.

Jason moved through the darkened corridors of his new home, seeking out any potential threats. The Hand Ninja were a ruthless organization, but they were a means to an end. They would help him gather power, and in return, he could use them to strike fear into his enemies.

He smiled beneath his mask. It was the first of many steps.
