NOVEL NEXT Chapter 64: Blackmail

Kira dashed forward at an incredibly fast speed, leaving behind a wall of sand that flew up to three meters.
"A!! Come and eat my sword!" he cried out as he sped towards him while he drew out his wakizashi.
As he took another step, he sent wind release chakra to his sword to coat it. Wind release was a counter to the lightning release, but Kira was skeptical if he could really cut the lightning armor with this.
"Huh?" A said as he smashed the head of the guy he was fighting with and turned to look at the small masked guy who was speeding towards him.
"Hahahah do you really think you can beat me?" he asked as he too, dashed towards Kira, ready to smack him with a Lariat.
Kira on the other hand, saw him raising his arm and anticipated this attack, but didn't slow down. Instead, he suddenly sent out a burst of wind chakra from the chakra points that were on the soles of his feet to fly like iron man, but it was used in short bursts instead of continuous usage.
In an instant, he closed in on the third raikage and slashed at his thigh with all his strength, only to see his sword shatter due to the force.
A stopped moving and looked at Kira who had also stopped behind him, staring at his broken wakizashi in disbelief.
'You... you actually made a cut.' he said, extremely impressed but not really fearful of Kira as the weapon that made the cut was now in three pieces.
Kira looked at the one millimeter deep cut that he had made and nodded, "Yeah... I expected more, but this just proves how strong your lighting armor is. And this makes me crave for it even more."
"You? What made you think that I'll ever teach you my technique?" he asked as he looked at the hidden stone shinobi who were currently observing the two of them instead of acting.
"Oh you will, don't worry about that." Kira said confidently as he took out the vials of poison from his pocket, "You see, I stole these from Chiyo and I've marked your sons A and Bee with my seal mark. Any time I wish to, I can go to them and poison them."
Saying that, he took out a kunai that was very similar to Minato's and tossed it into the sky before teleporting to where it was, showing him the proof that he could actually use the technique.
"You...."
Kira shrugged, "I just want to learn the lighting cloak. I promise I won't leak it to any other villages. But well... if you don't want to teach me, then I only got one choice and that is to kill every single shinobi that you tried to protect by staying back so that you can hold off these guys from following them.
Then I'll kill your two sons and then I'll go for the hidden cloud since there are won't be any more capable fighters. I don't really wish to do something like that, so I hope that you just make things easy for both of us and teach me the technique."
A felt like he as stuck at a cross road, not knowing what to do as he didn't wish to share his technique and nor did his want his village to suffer. He thought about it for a few seconds and then nodded, "As long as you promise me that you'll never harm them, then I'll teach you."
"I can't promise something like that." Kira said, refusing him outright before explaining his reasons, "You're basically telling me that I must stand still if any shinobi from your village attacks me. That's a little unfair to me."
"You're talking about fairness? You?! The person who is threatening me with the lives of my people? You?"
Kira ignored his words, "Do you want me to keep my promise, or do you want me to lie to you now and go attack them later?"
"I..."
"Yeah exactly."
Frustrated with the situation, the third raikage sighed, "Fine, just don't attack them without any reason. As for the lighting cloak... it's actually simple to execute but hard to control. Too much output and you'll fry yourself.
There are two layers to this technique. First requires you to mould the lightning chakra inside your body and with the heart as the medium, you send it to the rest of the body. This super charges your cells and nerves, enabling you to move at extreme speeds and will also increase your reaction time by a lot.
The second layer is the thing that happens outside the body, and that's the defensive part. You basically expel lightning chakra out from your skin... it's hard to explain it through words."
Kira nodded, fully understanding him as many people had trouble teaching properly. It was either that, or A was simply making up reasons so that he wouldn't have to teach Kira the full technique.
"It's fine, just use your lighting cloak on one part of your body and I'll figure the rest on my own."
Hearing this, A nodded and motioned towards the hidden stone shinobi who had begun to move.
"Don't worry about them." Kira said as four wood clones grew out of his back and each one of them created ten shadow clones each before rushing into the enemies using the flying raijin and clone body flicker technique.
The third watched the clones move efficiently while not getting hit even once. He then turned to look at Kira, "Do you even need my lighting cloak? Won't it not work well with your current fighting style of using shadow clones?"
"Yeah, they'll get destroyed instantly, but your lightning cloak will give birth to a different fighting style. The more I have in my arsenal, the better." he said as he walked to wards A and placed his palm on his biceps.
"Use lightning cloak on just your arm until the elbow. I'll take care of the rest."
