Chapter 16: Chapter:16
[Congratulations to Host for acquiring new skills.]
[Transparency Technique acquired.]
It was real.
Ishisaki had done it.
Although it had taken nearly an hour of Gekkō Hayate's repeated demonstrations, explanations, and guidance, Ishisaki finally unlocked the skill.
"It seems even Bloodline Limits can be analyzed and learned," Ishisaki mused, his excitement bubbling over.
But the process had been grueling. If it had taken this long to master a lesser Bloodline Limit like the Transparency Technique, how much time would it take for something like Sharingan or Wood Style?
[Unknown ※: If this skill were fully repaired, such limitations would not exist.]
The system's response was enough to make Ishisaki pause.
"So, if I manage to restore you, the analysis and mastery of even the strongest Bloodline Limits will become quicker?"
[Unknown ※: Affirmative.]
The thought sent a thrill through Ishisaki. If he could fully restore the system, he wouldn't just stop at mastering minor Bloodline Limits. His path to mastering all abilities would be wide open.

Hayate's Warning
Hayate, unaware of Ishisaki's internal excitement, remained oblivious to the significance of what had just happened.
"Ishisaki, don't feel too discouraged," Hayate said, patting his cousin on the shoulder. "Bloodline Limits are innate abilities. It's incredibly rare for someone to develop them later. But if you're truly interested, I can guide you through the foundational training."
Ishisaki smirked. "Brother Hayate, I think I've already mastered it."
"Don't be ridiculous—" Hayate froze as Ishisaki calmly formed the hand seals and began fading from sight.
His body shimmered briefly, then vanished entirely.
Hayate's jaw dropped.
"What… How?!"
When Ishisaki reappeared, Hayate stumbled backward, pointing at him as if he were some kind of ghost.
"You… You really learned it?! That's impossible!"
Ishisaki shrugged casually. "Well, it seems I have the talent for it."
---
Gekkō Clan Legacy?
Hayate was at a loss for words. For years, he had believed himself to be the only one in the Gekkō Clan capable of using the Transparency Technique.
"But you…" Hayate muttered, trying to make sense of the situation. "Could it be that the Transparency Technique is truly part of our clan's Bloodline Limit?"
The thought made his head spin. If the Gekkō Clan truly had a dormant Bloodline Limit, it could elevate their small family to prominence.
Hayate grabbed Ishisaki's shoulders firmly. "With your swordsmanship and now the Transparency Technique, the future of the Gekkō Clan lies with you!"
Ishisaki smiled but inwardly thought, "This is just the beginning."
---
The Conversation Turns… Peculiar
Hayate suddenly grew serious, his face darkening as he leaned closer to Ishisaki.
"Listen closely," Hayate said in a low, grave voice. "You now possess the Transparency Technique. It's a powerful tool, but it comes with responsibilities."
Ishisaki raised an eyebrow. "Responsibilities?"
Hayate nodded solemnly. "You must never… and I mean NEVER… use it for improper purposes."
"Improper purposes?"
Hayate's expression grew even darker, and his voice dropped to a near whisper. "You know… like sneaking into the women's bathhouse."
Ishisaki blinked.
"Brother… what are you even talking about?"
Hayate stepped back, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "What I'm saying is, don't abuse its power. You'll never get caught if you do, but… that's not the point! As a proud member of the Gekkō Clan, you must hold yourself to higher standards!"
Ishisaki looked at his older cousin, finally noticing the man's sunken cheeks and dark circles under his eyes. A realization hit him like a ton of bricks.
"Brother Hayate… you… you've done it before, haven't you?"
"What?!" Hayate sputtered, his face turning red. "Of course not! Don't be ridiculous!"
He coughed nervously and muttered under his breath, "Well… maybe once or twice…"
---
A New Path Forward
Despite Hayate's odd warnings, Ishisaki felt the power of the Transparency Technique coursing through him. The possibilities were endless—not just for combat but for reconnaissance, infiltration, and evasion.
While Hayate rambled on about the "noble" use of the ability, Ishisaki's mind raced with ideas.
He thought about the potential for pairing the skill with his swordsmanship, the ability to vanish mid-combat and strike from the shadows.
And then there was the question of further Bloodline Limits. If he could master Transparency so quickly, what about the legendary techniques like the Sharingan, Byakugan, or Wood Style?
"I'm just getting started," Ishisaki thought, clenching his fists. "With the system, I'll master every ability this world has to offer."
