Naruto :Uchiha's Reincarnation

Chapter 35: Ch-35: Escape

The small Rain Ninja felt a wave of delight wash over him as he spotted Uchiha Mingjing and his companions. "It's just a few Genin kids!" he thought.

Previously, their team of four Chunin had suffered a loss against a more seasoned Konoha team, primarily due to the skill of three Genin who were not typical rookies. This time, however, the Rain Ninja believed they had an easy target before them.

But where did the brats go?

Suddenly, a voice pierced through the tension. "Are you looking for me?" Uchiha Mingjing materialized behind the Rain Ninja, catching him completely off guard.

"Genjutsu: This Place is Not the Art!" Mingjing cast a spell, obscuring the Rain Ninja's vision. Just then, Inuzuka Ryo lunged forward, his instincts kicking in as he transformed, his claws aimed to strike.

The Rain Ninja barely managed to dodge, but the distraction allowed Aburame Nami to unleash her secret technique.

"Secret Technique: Bug Jade!" Hundreds of insects swarmed, enveloping the Rain Ninja, who panicked at the sight of them.

"What! These kids are serious!" The remaining two Rain Ninjas exchanged glances, their confidence evaporating. The trio had swiftly taken down their perception ninja, leaving them at a disadvantage.

The girl controlling the bugs looked fragile, yet her lethal command over them was evident. Mingjing's Sharingan and the Uchiha emblem on his attire told them all they needed to know about his lineage. Uchiha ninjas are never easy opponents.

Desperate, one of the Rain Ninjas prepared an attack. "Water Style: Water Wave!" He unleashed a torrent of water, hoping to sweep the Genin away while his partner drew his sword, charging at Inuzuka Ryo.

Realizing their intent to split the group, Ryo's temper flared. He called on his dog, Tiewan, to assist in blocking the Rain Ninja's advance.

On the other side, Aburame Nami maneuvered her insects toward the one who had cast the water attack. The Rain Ninja quickly countered. "Water Style: Water Array Wall!" A barrier of water erupted to shield him from the swarm.

Mingjing, recognizing the escalating danger, switched strategies. He had previously favored Fire Style techniques, but with the heavy rains of the Land of Rain enhancing the water ninjutsu, he opted for his Uchiha swordsmanship and Wind Style.

"Uchiha Style: Instant Wind Sword!" Mingjing launched himself like an arrow, cutting through the water curtain, aiming straight for the Rain Ninja's head. Their weapons clashed, a resounding metallic noise filling the air. With quick thinking, Mingjing used another illusion to confuse his opponent, then shifted to the side, allowing Nami to leap up and deliver a powerful kick that sent the Rain Ninja flying.

Meanwhile, Inuzuka Ryo was embroiled in a fierce struggle with the other Rain Ninja, who was outnumbered yet determined. Tiewan, in his orc clone form, matched Ryo's power, but without Ryo's precise control over advanced ninjutsu.

"Damn it! These Konoha Genin are tougher than our Chunins!" a Rain Ninja spat as Mingjing inflicted a deep gash with his blade.

Just then, a new voice rang out from the foliage. "Hey, you two, how pitiful! Getting beaten by a bunch of kids!"

Four more Rain Ninjas emerged from the forest, drawn by the commotion. Although they appeared to be a Chunin leading three Genin, their presence was enough to tilt the odds against Mingjing and his friends.

Mingjing's expression darkened. The introduction of four new enemies changed everything. If we confront three Chunins now, the outcome is uncertain.

With urgency, he decided on a tactical retreat. First, protect ourselves; create an opening to escape. His mind raced as he silently signaled Ryo and Nami to get ready.

In a flurry of motion, Mingjing hurled a cluster of shurikens into the fray, obscuring the view of the Rain Ninjas. As they scattered to avoid the projectiles, the two uninjured Chunins attempted to flank them.

But Ryo and Nami were quick to respond.

"Ya Tong Ya!" Ryo shouted as he transformed, leaping to engage the oncoming threat.

"Secret Technique: Parasitic Bug!" Nami cried out, sending her insects to overwhelm the attackers.

Mingjing didn't waste a second. He formed seals, gathering chakra for a counterattack. "Fire Style: Blazing Flame Technique!"

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" The combined might of fire and wind roared forward, a devastating force aimed at the Rain Ninjas.

Recognizing the danger, the Rain Ninjas rushed to form a defensive barrier, releasing various water techniques to counter the impending attack. Yet, despite their efforts, the sheer intensity of Mingjing's ninjutsu created a thick cloud of steam as the water and fire collided, obscuring the battlefield.

Seizing the moment, Mingjing deftly avoided a blow meant for him and helped Ryo fend off his opponent. Using his illusions, he enabled Nami to break free from her entanglement. With their visibility compromised by the mist, Mingjing activated his instant movement, disappearing from sight and securing their escape.
