Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Obito’s End

The Susanoo, resembling a raging demon, swung its twin chakra blades wildly. Countless sharp sword energies slashed and scattered in every direction.

"Madara, you've truly gone mad!"

From beneath the ground, Black Zetsu trembled as he felt the sword energies tearing apart the earth above. His entire body shuddered.

As for Obito's safety, Black Zetsu wasn't particularly concerned.

With the Mangekyō Sharingan's Kamui, Obito was essentially invincible.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The ground split apart, mountains were flattened, and the area where Obito stood had turned into a wasteland, unrecognizable and desolate.

The sheer force caused the entirety of Turtle Island to quake violently.

"Grr… Roar!"

The giant turtle raised its head from the water, letting out a pained cry.

Though its shell, forming the land above, had extraordinary defensive capabilities, it couldn't withstand such rampant destruction from the colossal figure above.

"What the hell is that thing?!"

"Quick! Use a summoning technique to send a message back to the village!"

In the distance, the remaining Kumogakure shinobi battling White Zetsu's remnants looked horrified. Their faces paled as they saw the towering blue giant piercing the clouds. The tremors nearly knocked them off their feet.

Susanoo slightly lowered its head. Within its arms stood Uchiha Madara, arms crossed, gazing down at the area he had just attacked.

From the massive crater carved by Susanoo's sword energy, Obito stood unscathed, not even a speck of dust on him. His body shimmered with an ethereal ripple.

"Your dōjutsu truly lives up to being a miracle of the Mangekyō…" Madara nodded slightly, his tone carrying genuine admiration.

Even with his extensive knowledge of the Mangekyō Sharingan's many abilities, Kamui remained one of the most astonishing.

When Obito awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, Madara became even more convinced that Obito was a worthy successor.

"It seems even you are powerless against Kamui," Obito said, his lips curling into a faint smirk beneath his mask.

The Mangekyō Sharingan was Obito's greatest trump card and the reason he could stand face-to-face with Uchiha Madara without fleeing.

"Oh? Then how about this?"

Madara wasn't angered. Instead, he raised his right hand and formed a hand seal in front of his chest.

Obito's expression changed instantly. Without hesitation, he activated his Mangekyō Sharingan and began phasing into the Kamui dimension to escape.

The moment Madara acted, Obito sensed immense danger.

The next second, Obito's body twisted violently, caught between the boundaries of the real world and the Kamui space.

"Urgh…"

An indescribable pain radiated from his chest, quickly spreading throughout his entire body.

If Obito could see his own body now, he would've been terrified by the intricate black markings spreading across it.

Even so, he gritted his teeth and maintained his intangibility. The black vortex at his back slowly enveloped him bit by bit.

Seeing this, Madara frowned slightly and increased the intensity of his technique.

"Aaaaahhhh!"

The pain felt like thousands of ants gnawing at his heart. Obito trembled violently, veins bulging on his pale face beneath the mask. Sweat poured down, soaking his blue robe.

The seal on his chest was something Madara had implanted while Obito was unconscious.

It was insurance, a means to control Obito if he ever rebelled after Madara's revival.

Madara, ever cautious, ensured he had a way to restrain Obito, knowing the latter could grow into a formidable threat.

The excruciating pain nearly pushed Obito to the brink of unconsciousness.

But even as his teeth tore into his lips, Obito forced himself to stay awake. The vortex behind him expanded, threatening to engulf him entirely.

"I… won't… fall here!"

"RIN!!!"

With a soul-piercing roar, Obito pushed through the agony.

For Rin, this pain was nothing!

He was Uchiha Obito—a man whose will even the Ten-Tails couldn't shake!

The Mangekyō Sharingan spun faster than ever, tearing apart his blue robe piece by piece.

Finally, with one last desperate effort, the black vortex of the Kamui dimension fully enveloped Obito.

In a distorted flash, his figure vanished completely.

"…"

Madara, standing atop the towering Susanoo, fell silent as he gazed at the now-empty battlefield.

"What remarkable willpower…" he muttered, a trace of genuine respect in his tone.

To break free from the curse mark's control with such resolve—Madara couldn't help but acknowledge Obito's indomitable will.

At the same time, he sighed with regret.

For peace, he had sacrificed everything. For a new world, Obito had given his all. Both of them, devout in their pursuit of the Moon's Eye Plan…

Yet, it was nothing more than a trap set by an alien being.

"Black Zetsu, get out here!" Madara roared, fury igniting within him.

The Susanoo remained active, its sword reforming. Madara unleashed his rage upon Turtle Island, slashing madly.

If Black Zetsu loved to burrow underground, then Madara would destroy everything above it!

Black Zetsu peeked cautiously from a clump of grass, only to see Madara in his frenzy. Without hesitation, it retreated into the earth once more.

...

Inside the Kamui Dimension

The infinite void of this otherworldly space was composed of irregular cubic structures. Black vortexes rippled through the air, and Obito's battered body fell from one of them.

He looked utterly wretched. His tattered robe hung like rags, blood dripping from multiple wounds.

The white mask with tomoe patterns had been discarded, revealing a haggard, weathered face. His Mangekyō Sharingan had deactivated, leaving only dark, exhausted eyes.

"Huff… huff… huff…"

Collapsed on the ground, his chest rose and fell. His labored breathing was proof he was still alive.

"Haha… hahaha… HAHAHAHA! I'm still alive!"

Despite the searing pain, Obito laughed maniacally.

Not even Uchiha Madara could stop him!

Victory was his. The jinchūriki were his. The dream world would be his!

Staggering to his feet, he clutched his chest, wincing at the sharp pain.

It didn't matter—he had won.

Within the Kamui dimension, not even the Sage of Six Paths could threaten him.

Turning his attention to the surroundings, he recalled storing the two jinchūriki here after subduing them.

Yet, what he saw left him dumbstruck.

The space was empty. Not a single trace of the jinchūriki remained.

"Impossible! This can't be!"

Panic more intense than when Madara had tried to control him spread across Obito's face.

This was his Kamui space. Those two had been unconscious—how could they have disappeared?!

Ignoring his pain, Obito searched the space frantically.

After a long, futile effort, he sank to his knees, disbelief clouding his eyes.

The jinchūriki had vanished—completely.

Terror set in. Someone had taken them from his Kamui space? How?!

"Obito… it's really you?!"

The voice behind him was laden with shock, confusion, and a tangle of emotions.

Obito froze. That voice… he knew it all too well.
