Naruto: The Strongest Teacher

Chapter 2: Word Chapter, Ignore!

"I never thought that after graduating as a teacher, I wouldn't become one in my original world, only to end up as one after transmigrating," Li Muyue sighed inwardly after sorting through his memories.

He felt as if his fate was deeply entwined with the word "teacher."

"I never thought that after graduating as a teacher, I wouldn't become one in my original world, only to end up as one after transmigrating," Li Muyue sighed inwardly after sorting through his memories.

He felt as if his fate was deeply entwined with the word "teacher."

In high school, he was one of the top students in his art class. Many classmates sought his help with questions, earning him the nickname "Teacher Yue." Later, when applying for universities, he ended up in a teacher-training college, guided by family advice to choose a strong education program. During college, tutoring his roommates further solidified the nickname "Teacher Yue."

Unexpectedly, when graduation came, Li Muyue rebelled against expectations and passed the civil service exam, avoiding the teaching profession altogether.

But life had other plans. On the first day of his new job, as soon as he stepped into the office, he was transported to another world. There, he found himself as a newly appointed teacher at a ninja academy.

His new body's name was Hoshino Muyue—still "Muyue," just with a different surname.

"This is far from a safe world," Muyue thought, sighing. "Too many maniacs and psychopaths—strong ones, at that."

Looking around the office, Muyue noted it wasn't much different from a teacher's office in his previous world, except for the sharp kunai lying casually on the desk—a stark reminder that this was no peaceful land.

To make matters worse, Muyue discovered he wasn't just a teacher. He was also a ninja of the Root faction!

The original owner of this body had been an orphan raised by Root. His teaching position at the academy was a direct order from Danzo to observe and monitor students for any budding geniuses.

"Danzo's underlings—definitely not the safest place to be," Muyue muttered to himself.

As he contemplated how to survive in this dangerous world, a cold, mechanical voice suddenly rang in his mind, accompanied by a translucent blue panel appearing before his eyes.

[You may take talented students as disciples for one-on-one mentoring. The disciples' growth will yield additional rewards for the teacher.]

Muyue examined the blue panel. It currently had only two options: "Personal Profile" and "Master-Disciple." He opened the "Personal Profile" tab.

[Name: Hoshino Muyue]

Feeling slightly insulted by the evaluation, Muyue closed the panel and opened the "Master-Disciple" tab, which was empty for now, as he had no disciples yet.

The class bell rang, signaling the start of his first lesson. Muyue gathered his things and headed toward the classroom.

Although he was a new teacher, the ninja academy was short-staffed, so Muyue was also made a homeroom teacher for a class of first-year students.

As he scanned the class roster, he recognized several familiar names: Mitarashi Anko, Kamizuki Izumo, and Hagane Kotetsu—future gatekeepers of Konoha.

Then, his eyes landed on a particular name: Uchiha Shisui. Muyue's expression brightened. This one was a true genius.

"If I can take him as a disciple, the rewards will definitely be huge," he thought.

Adjusting his expression to a warm, sunny smile, Muyue entered the classroom.

The classroom's design was unique. To ensure visibility, the seating was tiered, with each row higher than the one in front.

His arrival silenced the previously noisy room. After all, these were five- or six-year-old children attending school for the first time, curious and in awe of their ninja teacher.

Of course, there were exceptions. A purple-haired girl in the front row with a ponytail spoke up boldly, "Big brother, you're so handsome! Are you our teacher?"

Muyue smiled and nodded. "That's right, my good-looking little student. I'm your homeroom teacher from now on."

Hearing this, the girl beamed. She immediately decided her golden-haired teacher was a good person.

This friendly exchange eased the tension in the room, and the other students began to relax.

Walking to the chalkboard, Muyue wrote his full name, then turned to formally introduce himself. "My name is Hoshino Muyue. Starting today, I'll be your teacher. I look forward to working with all of you."

The purple-haired girl was the first to respond, "Yay! Teacher, my name is Mitarashi Anko!"

With her leading, the other students followed suit, introducing themselves. Even Shisui responded politely.

Unfortunately, the system remained silent. Muyue had hoped this would allow him to take Shisui as a disciple, but his attempt to exploit a loophole had failed.

Hiding his disappointment, Muyue signaled for the students to quiet down.

"Before we start the lesson, let me ask you a question: Do you know how Konoha was founded?"

The classroom fell silent again. The students exchanged puzzled glances.

"People built it," Anko eventually said.

"That's true," Muyue replied, smiling. "But who built it? And why?"

He explained the harsh realities of the Warring States period, where even children their age had to fight in bloody wars. His tone grew somber as he painted a vivid picture of the era's brutality.

The students listened intently, the weight of history settling over the room.

"Then, two clans stood up: the Senju and the Uchiha," Muyue continued, his voice now passionate.

"I know! The First Hokage, Hashirama-sama, was from the Senju clan!" one student exclaimed.

Hearing this, Shisui felt a pang of disappointment. Why was everyone only focused on the Senju? The Uchiha were co-founders too.

"To protect future generations and end the cycle of bloodshed, the two clans united to create Konoha," Muyue said. "This is how the Warring States period ended, paving the way for the village we live in today."

"The Will of Fire—our ancestors' selfless dedication—is what gives us peace and this ninja academy."

The students, inspired by Muyue's words, pledged to follow in their ancestors' footsteps. Even Shisui seemed intrigued, his interest in school rekindled.

For the remainder of the class, Muyue taught the basics of chakra, sprinkling in jokes to keep the atmosphere light.

By the time the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, the students were surprised at how quickly the time had passed.

"Chakra extraction tomorrow—I can't wait!" Anko said eagerly.

As Muyue left the classroom, Shisui hesitated before following him, curious to learn more.

[Name: Hoshino Muyue]

[Age: 18]

[Chakra: 4,300]

[Skills: Clone Technique, Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Technique, Body Flicker Technique, Konoha-style Taijutsu]

[Evaluation: Elite among Chūnin, but still cannon fodder in large-scale battles.]

The system's evaluation brought a smile to Muyue's face as he walked away.

[Teacher System Activated. Congratulations on becoming a teacher.]

[Lecturing students can earn rewards; the more talented the students, the greater the rewards.]

[You may take talented students as disciples for one-on-one mentoring. The disciples' growth will yield additional rewards for the teacher.]

[Note: Both parties must consent for discipleship. It cannot be one-sided.]

Muyue examined the blue panel. It currently had only two options: "Personal Profile" and "Master-Disciple." He opened the "Personal Profile" tab.

[Name: Hoshino Muyue]

[Age: 18]

[Chakra: 4,300]

[Skills: Clone Technique, Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Technique, Body Flicker Technique, Konoha-style Taijutsu]

[Evaluation: Elite among Chūnin, but still cannon fodder in large-scale battles.]
