Naruto: The legend of Kiba

Chapter 4: Killing

 Chapter 4 Killing

Kiba looked at the ninja in front

of him. Although the ninja was half-kneeling on the ground, covering the wound

with one hand, the snow-white bandage had completely turned bright red,

indicating the severity of the injury. Despite his labored breathing, it was

clear that this ninja still had the strength to kill Kiba. Kiba knew his own

condition wasn't great either.

Meanwhile, Iwaki was quickly

thinking of a solution. The explosion would undoubtedly attract the attention

of the pursuing forces, who would arrive soon. But first, he had to kill the

kid in front of him and then the Hyuga girl.

Yes, kill them.

He was seriously injured, his

chakra points blocked, and his chakra reserves dwindling due to the two

ninjutsu he'd just used. Refining chakra was difficult in this state. Capturing

the Hyuga girl alive would be too demanding. In terms of strength, he had lost

the element of surprise, and his chakra points were blocked, thanks to her.

Killing would be easier than capturing.

He could still obtain valuable

information from a corpse with Byakugan.

Rather than being caught alive,

killing and bringing back the body would be more efficient. This way, his

fallen comrades wouldn't have died in vain, and the mission would be completed.

The kid in front of him seemed to

rely heavily on physical skills. Iwaki was genuinely surprised that such a

young child could punch such a big hole. Not even a taijutsu specialist could

do that, except perhaps Tsunade, one of Konoha's Sannin, with her immense

strength.

Could this kid be Tsunade's

disciple? He's very talented. I can't let him grow up—he'll become a threat to

our village. Iwaki's killing intent intensified as he calmly refined chakra,

despite the blockages. He noticed the kid hadn't attacked in a while, possibly

because he was exhausted or hesitant. Accumulating chakra bit by bit, he

planned his next move.

A slight smirk appeared on Iwaki's

face. Sensing the killing intent, Kiba unconsciously swallowed. This is the

murderous spirit of a Jonin. It's terrifying!

There was only one thought in

Kiba's mind. Suddenly, a muffled sound came from the rock pillar prison. It was

Hyuga Yukina, trying to find a way out. Kiba realized he couldn't do this

alone. He needed to stay calm and analyze the situation.

His chakra reserves were very

limited. He couldn't even perform all three basic body techniques—maybe two at

most. He had no weapons. His physical skills were weakened.

He concluded that he needed to

rescue the Hyuga girl, but how? He glanced at the thick rock pillars—no way to

push them away. Any ideas? He looked at Iwaki, who was watching him with

murderous intent, ready to strike. Kiba felt terrified.

Iwaki must be accumulating chakra

for a decisive blow. When the time comes, I'll be finished, Kiba thought. He

lowered his head slightly and looked away.

Then Kiba noticed a piece of wood

at his feet, half-charred from the explosion. An idea flashed in his mind. He

quickly picked up the burnt wood and threw it towards the rock pillar prison.

Despite his weakness, years of physical training allowed him to throw it

accurately.

What is he doing? Iwaki wondered

as he watched the burnt wood fly towards the rock pillar prison. Throwing wood

to break the rock wall? Is this kid stupid? The wood was higher than the rock

wall.

"It's now, miss! Look up and

use! Substitution jutsu!" Kiba shouted.

Substitution jutsu? Iwaki was

startled.

Hyuga Yukina, anxious in the rock

pillar prison, heard Kiba's shout and looked up instinctively. She saw the

burnt wood in mid-air outside the rock wall and quickly understood Kiba's plan.

She formed the seals for the substitution jutsu.

"Boom!" Her body turned

into a cloud of white mist, which quickly dissipated, leaving the burnt wood

falling to the ground. Hyuga Yukina appeared in mid-air, very close to the rock

wall.

She got out! It worked! Kiba

quietly clenched his fist in triumph.

"What!" Iwaki yelled. He

had never expected the kid to use substitution jutsu with the burnt wood. This

kid's mind is quick!

"Miss, your ninja bag!"

Kiba shouted.

Hyuga Yukina, just landing, threw

her ninja bag to Kiba. He caught it and quickly inspected its contents.

"Miss, come to me quickly!"

There are smoke bombs! Kiba

thought. Smoke bombs are common tools. Kiba pulled out a kunai and threw it to

Hyuga Yukina, who was running towards him. He also pulled out a smoke bomb and

threw it to the ground.

"Boom!" A cloud of white

smoke filled the air, covering both of them.

"Damn it!" Iwaki cursed.

He had just finished forming the seals for his jutsu but lost his target in the

smoke. The timing of the smoke bomb was perfect.

"Now, miss!" Kiba's

voice sounded from within the white smoke.

A kunai flew out of the smoke

towards Iwaki's head. He smiled, thinking it was a naive attempt.

Innocent! A kunai can't kill me.

Too ambitious, not enough strength! Iwaki tilted his head slightly, avoiding

the kunai, and prepared to counter-attack.

This sound exposed your position!

Earth Release: Earth Spear! The soil in front of Iwaki's body bulged and turned

into a cone, piercing through the white smoke. It hit a seven-year-old boy.

It's Kiba!

"Go to hell!" Iwaki

sneered, but his smile froze. Kiba turned into a cloud of white mist—just a

clone. From behind, another kunai struck.

Iwaki's eyes widened in fear and

remorse. Kiba's voice echoed, "You're the one who is going to die."

With a determined sneer, Kiba

stabbed Kunai into Iwaki's back, piercing his heart. Blood spurted as Iwaki

fell, muttering, "Killed by a brat... how shameful..."

The white smoke dissipated. Hyuga

Yukina, holding a kunai, saw Iwaki fall and Kiba behind him. A strange light

shone in her eyes. Kiba had executed the plan perfectly.

Did he come up with this strategy

in that moment? Amazing! Hyuga Yukina thought, looking at the crumbling Kiba.
