Naruto: The God of Bloodlines

Chapter 12: New Jutsus and More Training Part 2

Yasu also realized that even at his maximum speed after removing his weights, it wasn't enough to completely evade such jutsus solely with agility. However, he believed that when he trained with heavier weights and achieved greater speed, he could potentially escape using only his velocity.

He also understood that if he were to face more than four enemies at once, no matter what he did, it wouldn't be enough to evade multiple jutsus targeting him simultaneously. This confirmed his belief that his current strength wasn't adequate for the battlefield and validated his decision to avoid going to war.

Of course, Yasu could have ended this sparring session much earlier by relying solely on his taijutsu skills, striking down Obito with just a few moves. In actual combat, Yasu knew he could neutralize enemies before being surrounded and overwhelmed by several foes at once.

Meanwhile, Obito noticed Yasu's rapid improvement and realized his own chakra reserves were depleting. To conserve energy, he dispersed his shadow clone, recovering a portion of his chakra. Determined to demonstrate the true might of ninjutsu, Obito decided to use his most powerful technique, one he believed Yasu couldn't escape.

This was Obito's strongest attack, though he ensured it wouldn't cause severe harm to Yasu. Rin's medical ninjutsu would suffice to heal any injuries. This was a chance for Yasu to understand just how devastating ninjutsu could be.

After forming a series of hand seals, Obito unleashed the **Fire Release: Great Flame Technique**. From his mouth erupted several enormous fireballs, dispersing in different directions before closing in to encircle Yasu. The sheer scale and destructive potential of this technique were staggering.

Obito had refrained from using this technique in the war due to its high chakra cost and its indiscriminate reach, which could endanger allies. While Yasu might be able to slice through some of the larger fireballs, others would still reach him, and some would explode upon impact with the ground, creating a hazardous zone.

Without powerful water or earth-style jutsus, it would be nearly impossible for Yasu to avoid injury. Watching from the sidelines, Rin became increasingly concerned about Yasu's safety, realizing the immense pressure Obito's technique was exerting.

Yasu grew serious as soon as he saw the jutsu Obito had used against him. It was undeniably far too powerful for an average Chunin to execute, but Yasu knew the Uchiha clan was anything but ordinary.

Even knowing it would likely be futile, Yasu pushed himself to his maximum speed to try and evade the technique. He successfully dodged several of the massive fireballs, leaping high into the air to avoid the explosions erupting on the ground.

Yasu managed to escape many of Obito's attacks, but more enormous fireballs continued to head his way. Analyzing the situation quickly, Yasu realized that moving forward in a calculated direction would minimize the damage he would take from the technique.

He chose a path where fewer fireballs were converging and launched himself in that direction. With precision, Yasu sliced through one of the fireballs, but two more quickly approached.

Using his chakra control, Yasu created a thin barrier around his skin to reduce the impact of any potential damage. He slashed through another fireball, but the second one exploded on contact, catching him in the blast.

The chakra barrier Yasu had formed shattered, and his well-conditioned body sustained minor burns. Despite this, Yasu overcame the attack, swiftly closing the distance to Obito and delivering a decisive kick that knocked him down. With a kunai pressed against Obito's neck, Yasu claimed victory.

Obito and Rin were once again shocked. Yasu had defeated Obito yet again, even after Obito had used his most powerful techniques at full strength. Despite these efforts, Yasu had prevailed using only taijutsu.

Rin quickly ran over to heal Yasu, casting an admonishing glance at Obito.

"Obito, this was supposed to be a training session! You shouldn't have used your jutsus at full power. You even used a technique you didn't deploy in the ninja war! Were you trying to kill Yasu?"

"Of course not. During the battle, I realized that Yasu had the skills to fight me at my maximum strength. After he countered so many of my jutsus, I knew he wouldn't be seriously hurt by my final technique—and I was right," said Obito.

Rin also noticed, while healing Yasu, that he wasn't severely injured by Obito's final technique. He only had a few burns, which seemed impossible given the magnitude of the explosion.

Naturally, Rin couldn't imagine that, in just a few months, Yasu had developed such exceptional chakra control that he could create a chakra barrier to protect his skin. After all, only geniuses were believed capable of such feats, and she knew Yasu wasn't considered one.

The fact that Yasu had become so much stronger made sense after six years of rigorous training. In truth, what surprised everyone was how weak he had been in the past despite undergoing such extensive preparation.

Yasu felt a deep sense of accomplishment from his victory and was focused on the sensation of Rin healing him with the **Mystical Palm Technique**. He realized it was an excellent opportunity to learn how the technique worked.

"Rin, this technique is truly amazing. Since I don't know any jutsus and can't even go to Konoha's hospital if I get injured, could you teach me this jutsu?" Yasu asked.

"This is a very difficult jutsu to learn, Yasu. It requires a lot of chakra control and significant skill to master. For some, it can take years to learn. You'd be better off focusing on other jutsus," Rin replied sincerely.

"I understand, but I think I might have some talent for chakra control. In just a few months, I taught myself to climb trees and walk on water using chakra. I believe I can learn this technique, which is very important to me," said Yasu.

Rin was genuinely impressed by his response. She had learned to climb trees and walk on water easily, but she had family members to guide and demonstrate the process for her. Yasu, on the other hand, had taught himself these skills without any help or instruction. Maybe Yasu truly could learn the **Mystical Palm Technique**.
