Yumi put on her disguise and waited for others.

"You guys are on your own, I would be watching from far."

'Wait, what?' Yumi felt like she was told on her birthday that all cake shops in Konoha were closed and all the ingredients were not available in the village for some reason.

"Uh, what do we do now?" she asked the only other guy present.

"It's fine, let's continue with the plan with two people only, it would be much easier."

With that, they made their way to the gate and Itachi showed them their identity cards.

'Hmm, I feel like somebody is watching us...' Yumi noticed a guy looking at both of them.

No, she found that multiple people from different directions were looking at her and Itachi.

They had one thing in common: they were all ninjas.

'We are definitely compromised, no way that so many ninjas would be present.' Yumi started weaving hand seals.

She could feel some more eyes on her, which hadn't been present before.

She completed her jutsu grabbed Itachi by his collar and flickered backward.

The ninjas were not expecting this and their eyes widened.

However, nobody needed to move as two Elite Jounins were already present.

They were told that somebody would come today to infiltrate and they had to capture them at any cost.

It was that important that 2 Elite Jounins were called.

Mind you, a village doesn't have many Elite Jounins; they were powerhouses after S-ranks who were in single digits in a major village.

A minor village is considered strong if they have just one S-rank.

Anyway, Yumi let go of Itachi as the latter completed his hand seal weaving and turned around and joined her in body flickering.

Itachi didn't bother to question her about her actions as they were busy with escaping alive.

"You guys are unlucky that you had to face us; your chances for escape were impossible from the first moment you stepped near our village."

Yumi's eyes widened as she found that she wasn't moving anymore.

'Damn it, not like this, Yukio won't have the end of it,' Yumi cursed as she tried to weave hand seals, but she lost consciousness soon somehow.

The Elite Jounin who said all this found that his heart was somehow pierced from behind.

"How?" he whispered in disbelief.

He would have tried to use a last-ditch suicidal jutsu to take his killer down with him or at least just injure the other party.

However, his internal organs had been fried already somehow and his brain was also done.

He could still think for a few seconds due to chakra saving him for a few seconds, but that was up and his soul got ready to move to Pure Land.

The other Elite Jounin, who was until a moment ago leaning against a tree as the other guy had already caught the unskilled fools, now was more alert than a cat whose tail was stepped on.

He blinked and the other party departed to hell; if he wasn't freaked out, then something would have been wrong with him.

He had already started weaving hand seals.

Fist met sword.

Earth-covered fist met lightning-covered sword.

"You!... Miyuki!" The guy was obviously knowledgeable about people in the Bingo book, especially high-bounty ones like Miyuki who recently had caused a large amount of damage to Iwa and Suna together.

Heck, it led to a conflict for them too.

Well, it was an ambush and she was not alone, but obviously, Iwa and Suna wouldn't say that outright.

"Oh, it seems I am popular, but I can't say the same about you." She kicked the guy in the shin, where earth armour had already appeared.

Well, his future kids were safe, but he was sent back like a ragdoll now.

While in the air, he noticed that the kids had disappeared.

Miyuki weaved a few hand-seals and disappeared in lightning flicker.

"You can't escape..." The guy said, but he found it odd that Miyuki was racing in the opposite direction; she was actually racing towards the village.

The guy's eyes widened and he released chakra from one part of his body to land on the ground and flickered after her.

However, Miyuki was a lightning user, a lightning-specialized Elite Jounin currently; how could he hope to catch up to her?

The ninjas who were just on standby noticed a blue flicker racing towards them; a few jounins immediately acted and weaved hand signs.

A large earth swamp was created in front of them with multiple earth spears/projectiles aimed at the lightning flicker.

But to their surprise, they found multiple kunai coming towards them, which then multiplied into hundreds in number.

Soon, all jounins and chunins made a large earth wall, with as much thickness as possible, and so much density that even an A-rank Jutsu would find it hard to reach the other side.

The lightning projectiles pierced the earth projectiles like butter.

However, as expected, they weren't able to cross through the earth wall.

"Good, we have to buy time till-" The Jounin had a kunai pass through his head.

Others' eyes widened in horror as they saw a small kunai-sized hole in the wall, and multiple kunai were coming out of that hole only, like somebody was controlling the trajectory of the kunai, as even an Uchiha wouldn't be able to control all the already thrown kunai to pass through the hole.

At least with strings only.

"Esc-" A person tried to shout, but soon his soul also prepared to go to hell.

Shinobi are supposed to go to hell only, with how they are.

It's in their nature.

Some of them already started flickering inside the village.

They abandoned all the civilians who were at the toll.

But to their horror, the kunai were following them like possessed ghosts.

Soon, the kunai found their place in their hearts.

Some of the Jounins were able to escape, but most of them died.

Just like this, Iwa lost 50 shinobi, which was a catastrophic loss when the mission was just to capture some infiltrators.

They had lost one Elite Jounin, which was unacceptable as this all happened when they were not that far away from the village.

Old man Ohnoki would be angry if he knew what had happened here.

No genin was present in this mission, so all "elites" were cleared.

Shockingly or luckily, no civilians were harmed till now.

"YOU!" The only elite jounin who just reached the scene placed his hand on the ground, and a lot of earth dragons moved underground to devour Miyuki.

She had an unimpressed look and just let electricity materialize on her foot, which then moved underground, destroying the earth dragons through and through.

However, the Earth guy didn't mind as he had created an Earth clone meanwhile which went into the ground.

This would create some pressure for Miyuki, who had to watch out for the clone on the ground which would try to sneak attack when it got a chance.

Miyuki dashed towards the guy with her blade flickering in blue very quickly.

Earth spears were shot from the ground in front of the guy; however, Miyuki suddenly changed her direction exactly perpendicular to her current direction.

It was a sharp turn and was very fast as even the Earth Elite Jounin lost track of her.

At least visually.

He could tell her location with the vibrations present in the ground.

"Stop running!" The guy tried to say while flickering after her.

He couldn't let her go or old man tsuchikage would eat him alive.

One of the elite jounins was already dead, so he would have to completely take responsibility.

However, a kunai at full speed came aimed at him.

The guy only saw blue in his peripheral vision before he increased the layers of the earth armour on his body.

Specifically, the area around and his right side.

He had already tilted his body slightly so that it would miss his heart in the worst-case scenario.

'How does he know that I have my heart on the right side?' That was the only thought in his body as the kunai made contact.

And to his horror, it actually penetrated his thick armour and passed through his body, making a hole in his right side.

"FUCK!" He said on instinct due to the pain and started moving in the ground to be safe.

Miyuki didn't waste her chance and dashed towards him to finish him off, but multiple earth dragons came in her path.

'Tch, I knew it, that clone was hiding like the rat he is,' Miyuki's sword glowed blue and a lightning slash clashed with the earth dragon.

Soon, the former won, but the Elite Jounin was nowhere to be found.

Miyuki flickered away and started retreating.
